Unfortunately, I've experienced several rude encounters with the manager Vicky and a tech, Ana. Example - When my nail tech (Lucy) was running late, no one let me know what was going on. I understand things happen. When I inquired about what was happening, both Ana and Vicky were rude and not apologetic. In fact, Vicky seemingly ignored me when I spoke to her. Ugh. I really want to love this place. It's convenient to my house, it is very clean, and the staff is friendly. However, I've come twice and had two subpar pedicures. The first was WEAK. The technician barely did anything to clean under the nails or smooth my callouses. I decided to give them another chance. Today, my pedicure was just as bad. Too much polish leaving gloppy streaks. Also, the tech skipped some of the steps of the callus pedicure that I upgraded to. (No scrub/massage/callous treatment) I had to remind her TWICE to trim the nails on my foot (she only did the right and then moved on). This place has potential, but they need to tighten up on their training/expectations of service. read more

Had my nails done here a few weeks ago great mani pedi! Had lasted a long time even though it wasn't a gel polish!

I did not feel like a valued customer. I went in for a mani-pedi; I got acrylic polish removed and selected gel for my nails and regular polish for my toes. I was satisfied with the service when I left, however, I noticed later that evening my nails felt soft and bendable. Apparently, the nail tech had applied regular polish to both my nails and toes. I called back the next day to ask if I could come in and have them look at my nails to remedy the problem or at least convince me that I had received acrylic polish on my nails. The person I spoke to on the phone was condescending and while I was speaking to her, she was talking to someone else. My concern was totally ignored, and this really frustrated me......I feel my $10 tip was wasted. I will never patronize them again! read more

Not only because of the friendly atmosphere, cleanliness and the HUGE selection of colors and types, but because of the owner Vicky and the quality of service she provides. I went in on opening day and loved it. The staff was so friendly, the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. I meet the owner Vikki we talked for a good while. I've been going back now for several months and I have one technician Annia that does my nails every 3 weeks. I love her, she's very professional and we talk like we've known each other for years. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The worst manager ever. There's only one good worker there and her name is Mimi. I went to get a pedicure with my friend (first time and LAST time getting a pedicure there). The nail tech was disrespectful and rude and you can clearly tell she hated her job. My gel nails chipped within a day. I called back just to let them know Our experience and Mimi answered and offered to have me back and get it done for me and my friend. We never asked for another pedicure she offered it. That was a very kind way to fix the bad experience we had and I was satisfied with that and even tipped her. Then when my friend went to get her pedicure the horrible manager who's name I believe is Vicky stepped in and had the guts to say she would charge my friend!? Poor Mimi had to obey this horrible manager. Instead of fixing the problem with a simple pedicure specially knowing we regular customers for manicures and hadn't complained before, I even gave them 4 other clients friends of mine . She decided to be stingy and treat my friend so bad. They definitely lost us as clients and my friends who go there. No wonder the nail tech looked like she hated her job, I would too if I had a manager like her. Worst place ever. Go to blush nails better there's Jonny and Mandy who are amazing at that place! I called ahead for a Brazilian wax appointment. I asked the rate. The lady told me $50. I show up. Wait a few minutes and Anna guides me to the back. Immediately I see hair on the sheet on the table that has the bottom half lined with paper. I asked the lady (Anna) what was going on....why the hair, is the sheet clean? She assured me it was clean, it was her hair from her making up the bed. Once I got undressed and she surveyed the private area, she prepped with no gloves on. She verbalized it. Then she started the waxing after saying "I'm going to do the best I can." I asked her was she new at this. She said no. THEN ONCE SHE HAD ALREADY started removing hair she said it's going to cost way more than $50! She said it would be $85 because I had not had a Brazilian recently. I felt she did a bait and switch after I was compromised, exposed, and she had already started. She could have asked the necessary questions before I was naked and before she started to discuss prices and I could agree or leave. It was a sneaky, dishonest business practice. The waxing process was horrible. She kept waxing the same areas two to three times. For whatever reason she did not know to hold the skin tight while pulling in opposite direction. She seemed to be unskilled and bumbling around down there. I was bleeding because she pulled off skin and never said anything until I asked her about the blood on my hands it at the end. Also Anna's wax got gooped up on my hair and she had to use wax remover to try and clear it up and RE wax the same area. She even went to get scissors to cut the hairs she missed in areas she had already over waxed. It was so BAD. Needless to say, I think she's unfit for the job and I feel she stole money from me. The technicians were very friendly and there was a great color selection. However, five days after getting dip nails with tips, I've already lost 3 nails. I have gone to a lot of salons in a lot of different states but this one beats them ALL. Very clean, nice atmosphere, very welcoming and most importantly the best work and services around. All of the staff are talented and do great work. My nail GODDESS is Vicky and she's amazing!!! I started to get dip powder a few months ago and I went to this one salon in Montgomery County... the lady there messed my nails all up and used UV light which you're not supposed to do with powder. At Vpassion they care about your nails (they DONT use UV light on powder) and only want them to be healthy and you to be happy. They have such a large selection of colors too and their prices are very fair. I highly recommend this salon for all your pampering needs. This is the worst situation I've ever experienced in a nail salon. I got a full set of tips with dip powder. I wanted to try dip powder for the 1st time. The nail tech NINA was friendly however she failed to tell me that getting this wouldn't be best for me and hold up long. I explained to her that I needed them to be sturdy enough and last. Nina stated that I was good and that they would be perfect for my real nails to grow out. On top of that I showed her picture of what I wanted which was leopard print(brown) and she did red leopard print. The design was okay so I kept it however that wasn't what I asked for. I even told her that my anniversary was the next day so I really hope that my nails were okay. I was scared to get the dip powder with slightly long tips. They were so thin looking and flexible. I PAID $70.00 AND GAVE HER A $15.00 TIP. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! The next day they all came off one by one. TWO OF THEM BROKE OFF IN THE MIDDLE! I am so damn pissed! I called Friday to tell them what happened and stated that I should not and will not be paying twice. Someone set me up for an appt. with someone else for 3pm. Nina finally calls me back and states that she could do them before she leaves early but she has to ask her manager because I told her that I wasn't pay nothing at all if my all my nails broke the next day. Her manager calls me back and tells me for a full acrylic set with gel polish. She said that I would be charged and they could only give me a $20.00 discount. WOWWWW! I am so furious and wasted $90.00. I am Over these nails salons especially this one. Don't waste your time going here just to be lied to, misconceived and ripped off when something happens to all your nails or even some. I paid $90.00 for dip powder tips or "press on nails"! So I had quite an unusual service here. I had some European lady who did my toes. She (right off the bat) started complaining on how my toe nails were too short and that I need to let them grow. I get my toes done regularly so obviously I wait but sometimes they chip and you have to cut them. Then she asked about my heels. I picked my heels because my anxiety got really bad. It's healing but I explained that to her. She then told me I should take medication for that. I said yeah I know I do. Then she asked me what medication I'm on. At this point I am extremely uncomfortable. I tried to make the best of the experience and just try to relax. She got the part where she was painting my nails and she starts complaining again about the length of my nails. She said "ugh I'm doing my best but these toes are way too short". I just said "well I'm not picky so that's fine". Overall won't be back because this was super uncomfortable all around. read more

I am absolutely appalled at your nail salon. I have been going here for months doing the same dip service and the last 2 services I have been charged $5 for shaping of my nails and have never been charged that in the past. Every time you do you nails it's obvious that your nails will grow and will need to be cut and shaped. DIP is already $40 without the manicure which is another $5 which is fine but now I am paying another $5 for shaping of my nails? This is absolutely ridiculous. I even paid for a membership and you treat your customers by hiking prices for no good reason. Do you charge extra for every one that you cut nails and shape them., that is a dam manicure. This is my second time at this salon. The first was with Cindy (who is no longer there) and was great! This time was with a new girl not sure her name but she didn't even get all the black polish off my toes. While the atmosphere is relaxing and the decor is beautiful, I personally have had a better experience at half the other nail salons in the area. If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. V Passion Nail Lounge is the worst when it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction. I came in for a full set and pedicure and was charged $75.00 for a simple nail design and had to stop the young boy in the middle of my pedicure for doing such a pathetic job on my pedicure. I was trying to have a relaxing moment for myself to celebrate my anniversary and this place truly ruined my day!!!! I was charged $100.00 and needless to say walked out of their without even having polish on my toes... because I stopped the kid from doing my pedicure so poorly and was still charged $30.00... oh with a $5.00 discount because I paid cash... I still need to give myself a pedicure and paint my toes... I really do not like this place. They don't appreciate their customers and in my experience in coming here they over charge black people and don't appreciate black business.
