The location is great, nice ambiance, with a park in the back of your kids want to play. The bathroom is in the back like it was part of the rec center. The service was ok. The food was ok. I like the space for maybe some wine and apps. It gets full and our server did his best but seemed a little impatient.
Part of Tami in Miami Happy hour review series: We gotta give mad props to Glass & Vine for our mini Bernedoodle Ahsoka's first bday. This place is FIRE! They even have a doggie menu! All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Esp Manager Sam, who happily chatted us up with all the local info! Great guy!! We came in time for happy hour--half price wine or well spirits plus apps. Hubby got a mule & I had skyy vodka & tonic with lime wedge--only $8!! We chose a few HH apps: meatballs, chicken wings, and hummus veggies & tortilla chips. Our birthday girl chose doggie menu meatballs. We were all very happy! We will def return for brunch, as that seems to be a great menu. You should def check it out for happy hour, dinner or brunch. I've been here a couple times but I may have to say this was my favorite. The way I was greeted upon arrival. Finding out it's happy hour and ladies night in one! And our waiter Osvaldo was the best!! We had the meatballs and I was expecting much but wow! We also had the brazino and the chicken black truffle gnocchi. All amazing! What topped it off is the playground where our kids were able to play while we enjoyed dinner. I will be back with more friends and family!
After being treated to a wonderful elite event a few weeks earlier; a group of us ended up at Glass & Vine to extend a birthday celebration. It was very much the fun vibe we were introduced at the event! We were able to get a seat on the outside Terrace closest to the restaurant and had attentive service the whole evening. Our host even took various group pics of our group. We were also greeted by the manager. Based on our experience from the Elite event, we started with their meatballs. Oh my God - between the rich & generous marinara sauce, the goat cheese, and the juicy meatballs (served as a set of three) I remembered one of my favorite dishes from the Elite Event . We also enjoyed their chicken wings, their flavor a great balance of sweet and spicy. Though I started with iced tea just because it was the end of the night, I could not say no to the white wine that our group enjoyed. The staff also served us a deliciously tart yet sweet key lime pie with meringue that the birthday girl shared with us at the table. Of course there's the beautiful garden setting and string lights; I believe there was also live music.
We had a lovely time at Glass & Vine. We requested a table on the terrace facing the playground, which was an excellent choice it's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal and drinks while keeping an eye on the kids as they play. The food was generally very good. We tried the Happy Hour Burger and enjoyed it quite a bit; it's a solid, flavorful choice. We also ordered the Chicken Tenders and the Caesar Salad, both of which were well-executed and satisfying. The only thing that didn't quite hit the mark for us were the Chicharrones. The seasoning/dressing they use wasn't very pleasant to our taste. However, everything else was great, especially considering the beautiful location and the relaxed atmosphere of the park. It's a fantastic destination for a family outing in the Grove. We'll definitely be back for the vibes and the convenience!
This restaurants outdoor seating space is so pretty with all of the lights. Great to gather with friends or even date night. Their happy hour menu is pretty good (from 3-7pm) . There's also free bubbly for ladies on Thursday nights. They also have specials on different nights as well. I got the burger and fries and both were pretty good. The burger was a full size burger and a great price at $10 on Thursday! The fries were crunchy and warm. Could use a tad bit more salt. Otherwise, perfection! I got to try the meatballs as well and it was the perfect combo of lean and fat. A nice size chonky meat ball! Would go again just for the meatballs. The service was quick and the servers were all friendly!
Went missing day they have a bottomless brunch which is $35 I opted out but got a bottle of Prosecco anyways which was $30 which I think is affordable in this area the food was excellent I had the burger and my husband has the chicken and waffles. The seating was very cute and in a garden. The only thing that I did not enjoy that was although my server was great he was also the bartender so he was not as attentive and because the restaurant ks also sharing grounds with a park there was many people walking by the restaurant including a homeless person with their trolley.
Brought my family here to celebrate my mom's birthday and we had a wonderful experience! The host was very friendly and because my son was with us he was kind enough to offer outside seating near the playground! Our server was amazing, she greeted us right away, took our drink and appetizer order. I ordered the glass & vine mule which was 10/10, my mom ordered a glass of wine & my grandmother order a mocktail. For our appetizer we ordered the roasted beet dip which was made to perfection!! I'm still thinking about it!! As for entrees I ordered the seared salmon, my grandma the blackened mahi & the birthday girl ordered the grilled catch of the day. My son ordered chicken tenders. All the food was delicious, brought out in a timely manner. Since we were celebrating a birthday of course the dessert had to make an appearance and we ordered the mile high chocolate cake which was amazing and so chocolatey without being overwhelming. I love the monsteras that surround the entrance of the restaurant as well the cozy vibe the lights offer and the playground is just the cherry on top if you're bringing children.
Overall we had a good experience at Glass and Vine. The food was good, the happy hour menu was great, and the service was satisfactory. However, we came on a Friday night expecting a semi-date night vibe and we wanted to get a few things off the happy hour menu which apparently was only at the bar/high top area (which is fine). I had asked about the other seating away from the bar which seemed more private and romantic however the hostess said it was "very busy" and refused to seat us there without a reservation. Which is really fine and understandable! But be prepared for a flood stream of parents with children running around the area due to the playground next door. I don't blame them, I would probably do the same but it is by no means peaceful, relaxing, or upscale feeling with TONS of children running around. Again, it's perfectly fine, I just hadn't seen any reviews mentioning this. We went on a Friday during happy hour so I might try again on a different night at a later time because the food was good and the drink menu had great selection. Also the "very busy" seating was almost empty the entire time we were there so we were confused about that. But the meatballs were delicious, same with the coconut shrimp and the burger! I can't speak in general but if you go on Friday from 5-7 pm just be prepared for A LOT of children.
The drinks were good, well made, no complaints there. But the food was a disaster from start to finish. I ordered the smash burger, which should be one of the easier things to execute, and it came out late with a bun so burnt that when I hit it with a knife it literally cracked like a cracker. We got the manager's attention, he promised to remake it himself, went back to the kitchen, and came back with what I can only describe as the same meat transferred onto a plain untoasted bun. I know because I had already cut a piece before sending it back. I ate it anyway because I was starving and at that point I just needed food. That's when I discovered the bottom of the meat was also completely burnt. Tasted like chewing on coal. My boyfriend's crispy rubbed chicken wings were anything but crispy. Soaking wet, like a buffalo wing situation, nothing rubbed about them at all. The yuca fritter had zero flavor. The oysters were floating in water because the ice had melted. The only thing worth eating on the entire table was the hummus. Our server Mia was sweet and you could tell she was stressed, and honestly the kitchen chaos wasn't her fault. Tickets weren't being followed, other servers were grabbing food meant for our table, and it wasn't even busy. Safe to say we won't be going back!
There is nothing that beats a quiet dinner in a park setting and nobody does it better than Glass & Vine. Recently there was a Yelp elite event there, but there was too much interest, and I sadly did not make the cut. However, my many friends who did raved about the place, moving it high on my list of must visits. Several attempts were met with unforeseen circumstances that kept me from venturing there, including a cold spell here in Miami, which is so unusual. But last night was the perfect night. It was the one year-old birthday of my dog Ahsoka what better way to celebrate than an a park where she could play before dinner with other dogs and an upscale outside restaurant with its own dedicated dog menu. We arrived to most gracious service as Sam the manager status at a lovely table on the upstairs Terrace. The view is beautiful. The evening was perfect. It was still happy hour, and since it was Ahsoka's celebration We decided to go with small bites from the happy hour menu. We ordered some happy hour drinks, which are really quite good including a wonderful mule for me and a simple vodka tonic for my wife. Ahsoka chose the water in a bowl which they graciously brought out for her. Fellow Yelp Elite friend Sergio highly recommended the meatballs, so Ahsoka went with those albeit hers were from the doggie menu. She was a bit hesitant about the sauce, and so I hand fed her the meatballs. She then decided to be adventurous and delved into the tomato sauce, which she absolutely loved and licked the bowl clean. We also have the meatballs which were slightly different, but no less wonderful. We tried the hummus which came with a generous portion of vegetables and some tortilla chips and was absolutely delicious. The chicken wings were a highlight for me, but the wife is not such a big fan of chicken wings so I was lucky enough to get to eat most of them. They were delicious. We also tried the happy hour smash burger, which was also delightful. There was much more I wanted to try, but we hit our limit at that point. I really wanted to try the Keylime pie with Sergio also raved about but if being the puppy's birthday, we had ice cream plans elsewhere to finish out the evening. No problem we'll save that for our next visit. And there will be an next visit because it was such a wonderful place to be. Service was perfect. Food was excellent, prices were reasonable for Miami, and the ambiance could not be beat. There seems to be no limit of great places to eat in Miami, but for a beautiful experience in Coconut Grove's Peacock Park, this one is just amazing.
I had such a lovely experience at Glass & Vine. The location is perfect--set right next to a playground, which makes it ideal for families. You can relax with a bite and a glass of wine while keeping an eye on the kids playing safely nearby. The team was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with children. Geo, our server, was patient, attentive, and offered great recommendations. I had the branzino, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, along with the yuca bites--also a standout. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again.

We were very excited to go there for Mother's Day's lunch. We had a reservation for 12:30 and we were there 10mn before. The place is very beautiful in a beautiful parc. We order the brunch plates scrumbel eggs, bacon and potatoes. Pasta and omelette fir the kids. We received the plates after more than 1h for the kids and we had to wait 40mn more to get our plates. It was just disgusting, cold and no taste. The eggs were so dry like microwave reheated. Ugly. We let the entire and we ask the bill. The waiter was kind so we paid only the wine and the tips but our day was a fiasco. So sad. read more
My daughter and I decided to spend the day in Coconut Grove, and after some shopping we stopped at Glass & Vine for brunch. Although it was very busy, we were greeted promptly and able to wait for an outdoor table in the shade. The restaurant has mostly outdoor seating and overlooks the park, which makes it a great spot for families with children. Our server, Elizabeth, was truly the highlight of our visit. She was warm, attentive, and genuine from the moment we sat down. She immediately offered us water while giving recommendations and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The brunch menu offered plenty of options. I ordered the breakfast croissant with eggs and bacon, while my daughter ordered the chicken fingers. The food came out quickly considering how crowded the restaurant was. Unfortunately, the meal itself was just average for us. My sandwich was okay, but I was expecting something more flavorful, and my daughter's chicken tenders were a bit different from the traditional style she was expecting. Overall, while the food did not quite meet our expectations, the service absolutely stood out. Elizabeth provided excellent hospitality, and she is the reason we would consider returning. read more

Fantastic! I chill spot filled with locals. This restaurant neighbors with a park and a playground which is wonderful for parents: you can watch your kids play while you eat. They have bottomless brunch with $35 mimosas which is a hit. I tried their rigatoni and I loved their take on the dish: the mushrooms added a delicious touch. The cocktail I got was delicious but also strong (no complaints about that haha) read more
Mark and Maura What a team. Was in Miami just for the night and needed to find a place for dinner. Walked a bit but found Glass & Vine The space is tucked away in this park green space. Mark met us as we walked up and suggested all the things. Was so welcoming. Definitely made it an easy pick. Started off with a tequila sunrise and a mule. Both amazing Order just some fries and the roasted beet dip Wow another hit. Maura did an amazing job at checking in and making sure we always had what we needed. Another drink or whatever we needed. We topped off with two main dishes the salmon and blackened mahi. I definitely would suggest going and checking this amazing place out. Make sure to say hi to Mark and Maura read more

Wow, what a wonderful experience yesterday having a delicious lunch in a beautiful park in Coconut Grove with oak trees all around and greenery everywhere you sit. There are paved walkways to wander around on. They are pet friendly. There is no inside dining here. There are tables on several different levels that are a step above the last level. The flooring is like cobblestones but easy to walk on. The bar is conveniently located at the highest level with good views of Peacock Park. They serve brunch, lunch and dinner. We loved it! The setting is unlike any other restaurant in Miami. Very unique and inviting. Our server was Maura, who was one of the sweetest and nicest servers we have met in a long time. She had great recommendations and knew the menu thoroughly. She was attentive throughout and our water glasses were filled at the halfway mark promptly. She is a gem! There was a minimal wait for our orders. The service is great here. I ordered the Brick Roasted Half Chicken, which was on the small side but plenty for lunch. It was seasoned with rosemary and the skin was thin and crispy. Delicious, juicy and tender! It came with delicious roasted finger potatoes. An herbed yogurt sauce accompanied the meal. I was very happy with Maura's recommendation. My daughter ordered the Chicken & Black Truffled Gnocchi. She loved it. I tasted one potato Gnocchi and it was awesome! Maura highly recommended this dish also. Perfectly prepared with bacon and parmesan. For dessert, we shared the Mile High Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries. It was out of this world delicious! One of the best lunches that we had in a long time! We will definitely return very soon. There is street parking but you need to drive around until someone leaves. A short walk away is a large parking lot for Peacock Park and is free. read more

I absolutely adore this place. The atmosphere is romantic and fun. The drinks are AMAZING the kiwi drink is one of the best I've had. The croquetas as an appetizer are a must. The service is great. The burger is good but the truffle fries are great. I can't wait to go back and try more! read more

During our recent trip to Florida, we stopped at Glass & Vine and really enjoyed the experience! It's in a super cute location near Peacock Park, and there's even a playground in the back--perfect for families with kids. Unfortunately, it was raining while we were there, so we couldn't take full advantage of the outdoor space, but the vibe was cozy and welcoming. I had the tuna tartare and it was absolutely amazing--fresh and full of flavor. My husband enjoyed the deviled eggs, and our kids shared the steak and eggs, which they loved. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which was just okay. Overall, we really enjoyed the ambiance, the stylish decor, and especially that it's such a family-friendly spot. Would definitely return on a sunnier day! read more
Stopped in with some friends to pregame for happy hour with friends before an event. This was my first time in and immediately loved the ambiance. The outdoor vibes are so warming and whimsical. The happy hour menu is so good and they had additional Thursday night specials that last all night. The staff was super friendly and the music was also really good. We enjoyed some bites and a cocktail. Oh and even a free glass of bubbles that was for ladies before 7pm. The $9 stone crab claws really had me sold! If I could give half-stars, I'd rate this a 3.5 - but I'm going to be nice and round up. I came here on a Friday afternoon during happy hour - they offer specials from 3PM to 7PM with deals on drinks and small bites. My friend and I ordered the Tamarind Honey Glazed Ribs appetizer. It came out fairly quickly, but this left much to be desired. They didn't taste freshly cooked - the ribs didn't have much meat on them, and the meat there was wasn't very tender. For my entrée, I opted for the Brick Roasted Half Chicken on a bed of herb yogurt, and I substituted the crispy red potatoes for regular fries. This dish is the reason for my dining experience. Glass and vine stays being my favorite happy hour in Miami. The restaurant itself is all outdoor nestled under a bunch of oak trees and it's sooo lovely. Plenty of fans for the summer months. Happy hour deals are great and so is wine selection. On Thursday they even have all night happy hour and a free glass of sparkling wine for women. Food is so-so. I typically get the fries and they're fine. I more come for the drinks and the ambiance. During the day, I love to come and read a book here over a glass of wine. At night, it's livelier with lots of people and often has live music. A great spot for many purposes! read more

Gorgeous space with lots of beautiful trees and fresh air. Wonderful happy - highly recommend the wings and hummus dip. Most importantly, wonderful service. Ana did an amazing job supporting our large party meeting with a book club event. Everything came out fast and accurately and she somehow kept amazing track of everything for our large group. Mark the manager was super friendly and with Ana surprised one of our friends who recently had a birthday with a little birthday dessert and candle. Lovely place highly recommend! read more
Glass & Vine is a Grove treasure. Located right next to Peacock Park, this is a great spot for families because parents can sit and dine outside while they watch their children roam around in the playground. Service was nice and relatively quick. We went on a Thursday night and there was a dj who was playing some good music. A little loud, but we were seated pretty close to him so that's to be expected. They had a happy hour for food, so I got one $2 oyster, along with their spicy rigatoni. The oyster came out quick and tasted fresh. The rigatoni was delicious and not super saucy, which I prefer. Overall, visiting Glass & Vine will make for a cute, homey night out. read more
The Burger was amazing - next level I should say !! 10 starts well done on the mix of sauce and burger patties and cheese, bread - exceptionally tasty!! Thank you Ozzie and Mark for your hospitality. Being greeted by Mark as soon as you walk in sets the tone for the rest of the experience. No matter how many new spots pop up in the Grove, G&V remains one of my favourites! You can never go wrong. Their menu is small but packed with inventive & delicious dishes to suit everyone's taste. Our server, Ferney, was great! Super attentive & even made us some off-menu Cuban coffee which was spectacular & tasted straight outta Lil" Havana! We started with the Snapper Crudo & Beet Dip. Both amazing. My Seared Tuna salad was also great as was my dad's Chargrilled Broccoli. For drinks, I had the Whiskey in the Park. A perfectly balanced, refreshing & STRONG cocktail. Decided to try out glass and vine for a group annual Friendsgiving dinner. We made reservations for a Friday night at 8pm. The ambience was laid back and chill with live jazz music being played through out the night. The food was the best part of the night, although it seemed very busy it came out pretty quickly. What we had: The salmon, chicken Mediterranean salad, Steak Frits, Chicken bacon truffle gnocchi and the burger along with truffle fries. Everyone loved their food and the flavor was just right. I personally had the salad which brought a nice portion of chicken that was well seasoned. My friends that had the Steak Frits mentioned it was worth the price. What could have been better: the server was no where to be found the beginning of the night and seemed like they may have had a lot of tables to attend to. It took almost 30 minutes to get our first (and only drinks). The waiter mentioned the kitchen was backed up but seemed like it was more so the bar. Since we waited so long for our drinks we immediately put in our food order which we were pleasantly surprised on how quickly it came out. Overall I would revisit but with a smaller group of people and I would have a bottle wine instead of cocktail. read more

Great place to come with your pups and relax outside with a nice glass of wine. Pups even have their own menu. There was an extensive list of international wines to choose from and a few vegan and or vegetarian options available. The roasted cauliflower was delicious, but unfortunately the one pasta dish was rather bland. Service was great, unfortunately the Bathrooms are a mess since they are open to the public in the surrounding park it would be great if something could be done for the restaurant to have their own entrance and space. read more

We come here a lot but the past few times it's almost like management leaves for the day or they just don't care. Got here for 4pm reservations on Sunday and asked if they could still do eggs Benedict - said yes but.... brunch I guess ended at 4 so we were def late (why I'm adding a second star). Brought out eggs Benedict with no Benedict sauce lol (see pics). Very strange and super surprised a manager would let that happen. read more

Where do I park?
There is street parking and also a private parking lot, just a short walk to the left of Glass & Vine as you ate facing the restaurant by Peacock Park. You can't miss it. It is free parking.
Are they careful with gluten cross contamination for Celiacs?
You should call them and speak to the manager yo get an accurate answer.
Is there wifi?
I don't think so but you do not need to be looking at a phone in the keys enjoy the view and the people abd put the freaking phone away

Is happy hour still on during Covid and are reservations required?
Yes to happy hour and I'd recommend making a reservation.
Can I take my own (very special) bottle of wine?
No I don't believe it is BYOB. But perhaps you can call and ask them to see whether they can make an exception.
Do they now have unlimited mimosas for brunch?
No they do not. But they do sell the champagne bottles for an economical $30-35.
Is there a DJ for brunch?
Not when we were there. But there was a singer with a guitar. Was very nice.
How's the parking situation?
Street parking only, or there are random lots you can pay for.

No they don't have unlimited mimosas but they do offer a pitcher for $35
Is there a kid's menu?
I do not think there is a kids menu, however SUPER-kid friendly and adjacent to a park in which kids can play if you sit outdoors.
Are dogs welcome in the outdoor seating area like in other restaurants in the grove?
Not only dogs are welcome, there is also a fog menu available !!!
