I arrived a bit before the official opening time and I really appreciated that I was still warmly greeted. After turning my car over to the staff I was shown to the lounge and offered complementary beverages. When it was time to retrieve my car I like that a staff member ushered me to the enclosed garage where they worked on my car so I could inspect it before driving off. I walked around the car but didn't see anything that needed a touch up. I thought my car was relatively free of "stuff" before turning it over to the staff but apparently they found plenty of junk remaining which they gathered into a white trash bag during the cleaning process. I really liked this approach because it shows they moved the clutter to clean the nooks and crannies and it gave me the opportunity to sift through my car junk and to make a decision about what to keep and what to toss. The staff was very courtesy and customer-service oriented. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be much better about getting my car cleaned in the future.

The interior service was unacceptable! I asked to speak with an associate. This is an overview is the comments I made and the response of the employee. There was mediocre attempt to vacuum the weather tech floor mats were still dirty. We require extra payment to power wash the mats. I am a first time customer and this service was provided at other similar places. The vacuum service was subpar. Many places I could still see where they had not touched. The employee stated they could re-do the vacuum service. The arm rest had a coffee mark on it and was still there. No remark with a shoulder shrug. The seats still had crumbs in the creases. There also no attempt to wipe fingerprints off the center console where there is brushed chrome. And the outside was no better. There was no tire shine applied to my tires. And the rims were not cleaned and mud was still on the mud tire wells There was the offer of a redo of the vacuum. There should have been entire redo of the interior service. As a first time customer, this was a horrible experience. Not sure if this is the level of service that is typical or if the facility is poorly managed

Let me just say, has got to be some of the worst service around. Went for numerous things, 1 being my brakes...2 months later now and they're already grinding. This entire time they've made a metal grind sound but now it's like the pads are worn all the way down. Also needed them to fix my gear shifter, they not only didn't do anything for it, they tried saying "all you have to do is screw it back in" like I wasn't paying THEM. $1500 down the drain, never going there again. If I ever run into any of them around here...gonna have a problem.

Fortunately a staff member rendered an opinion that the scratches could possibly be removed by using a liquid lacquer. And, he did what was needed, easily. Wow, was I impressed. He got my information, informed me about inventory and said he would follow up. I told him I'd be traveling the next day, but he told me to still call if I hadn't heard from him. I called on my layover that Sunday morning and Manny answered and said he was getting an updated from the warehouse that had my glass and would text me with the timeframe for the repair that following Monday. The tech made it to my place that following Monday morning during the one hour timeframe that Manny provided, replaced the glass, cleaned the broken glass and was done in about 40-50 minutes. I've never had to get this done before so I can't compare, but I was super impressed by the affordability, speed, availability, and Manny's general helpful attitude! This is the level of customer service I expect and I hope I don't have to use them again, but would in a heartbeat.

My experience with the service department this week did not go well. I began making calls for a 30K…read moreservice on my Miata beginning Monday around 10:00 a.m. The telephone tree seemed to be broken, because I had to punch the "2" key for service three different times before a human finally answered. I was immediately put on hold for 8.5 minutes then was disconnected. I called right back and went through the faulty telephone tree as before. This time instead of speaking to a person I was asked if I wanted a call back. I did. Two hours later, not having heard from the service department, I made another call. This again wound up with my being offered a call back. I again agreed and again received no call within a reasonable amount of time. A fourth call finally got me through to a service writer. An appointment was made for two days later at 8:15 a.m. I was told that the work would take 1.5-2.0 hours, so I elected to wait at the dealership for repairs. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told the wait would be a minimum of 3.5 hours. I called my wife to pick me up, disrupting both of our morning expectations. There's no excuse for that kind of stupidity. This service department doesn't appear to know what they're doing. When I finally retrieved the car, the bill was 150% more than what I was expecting. If I can find another Mazda dealer in the area, I doubt I'll be returning to Fitzgerald.
