Over the past few decades my insurance company (USAA) always recommended this shop. Body repairs and paint jobs were always top of the line. Last year, a perfect job was done installing body side moldings on a new Mazda CX5. That same car brushed under a tree branch (oops) and scratches resulted on the roof. Fortunately a staff member rendered an opinion that the scratches could possibly be removed by using a liquid lacquer. And, he did what was needed, easily. Wow, was I impressed. Wow. My husband scheduled an estimate this morning about some minor body damage. He had tried to work on the scratches by himself but that made it more noticeable. John Brady took his time to assess the situation and then went WAY above and beyond to work on the two spots for about 15 minutes. When he was done, the scratches were barely noticeable. Our car was involved in a traffic accident and our insurance company directed us to the Chesapeake Auto Body (CAB) shop in Annapolis, MD. CAB coordinated with Enterprise Rental regarding our rental car and the pick up and delivery to Enterprise was seamless. The coordination between our insurance company and (John Brady) at CAB was phenomenal! From our first visit to CAB until our pick up of the repaired vehicle could not have been better. John called us each Tuesday and Thursday of the week to provide an update on the repairs. Originally, John thought the repairs might take three or more weeks, but the repairs were completed just shy of two weeks. My wife picked up the car, John facilitated the Enterprise Rental vehicle return and sat with my wife to explain the repairs and went over some of the safety options on her Subaru. When I saw the car, you could never tell the repair took place at all...the paint match was flawless. All in all, if your company has a John Brady working for you, be very, very thankful. CAB gets a 10 star out 5 star rating. If you need any auto repairs on your vehicle....CAB is the only way to go! read more

I brought my Prius here for repair on the front bumper from an accident. First, everyone was very friendly and greeted me when I walked in the door. Because my insurance had called earlier, they were expecting me and were ready to examine my vehicle immediately. Roy examined my car and gave me an estimate within 20min, and gave me a week estimate for the repair. The following week I took my car in to begin the repair. They called the rental company I was renting the car from and it came to pick me up. I decided I wanted to have damage on my back bumper repaired (an older accident). So when I dropped off my car, I asked them for another estimate then gave my insurance a call. They sent the estimate and Roy gave me a call with the total cost. They were able to take care of both the front and back bumpers and still get my car back to me Friday morning. Truly a great experience and I really wish they did mechanical work as well! What isn't good is that this was not my first experience with this body shop... but what is good is the customer service and overall experience (which explains why I've returned). Coming up the steps into the building, I was greeted by Ben who is awesome! He remembered my father and I as soon as we entered, asked how we've been and the story behind why we were back again. We then walked outside for him, Ben to assess the damage. He was very thorough and informative, giving us more information (and a better quote) than my original car dealership. Upon assessment, Ben gave us our official quote, proper paperwork outlining the details, shook our hand and let us know that we'll be contacted when the part has arrived. No call yet (it's been 1-day), but I've never had an issue before and don't expect this time to be any different. I would (hopefully not) be returning if there is anymore future insidents. read more

My experience with Chesapeake Auto Body. I had a Jeep Wrangler worked on in February 2024. Repairs needed included passenger side rear wheel, rear tire, rear fender flare and rear bumper. Upon returning home with the Jeep I noticed they didn't match the new tire with the other four tires on the car. Another issue was my passenger side rear brake light and turn signal were not working. Now in April 2024 my passenger side rear fender flare is detaching from the car. I will not recommend Chesapeake Auto Body. read more

The friendly person at the front desk said she would send a tech right out. After 2 minutes he came out with a clipboard, took a brief look then went back inside. Came right back out with a bag of tools, and after 15 minutes underneath and around my car, he had everything looking GREAT! The next big plus was that he would NOT accept any payment! This auto body shop is simply amazing! My driver car window quit working and I mistakenly took it to a local Annapolis gas station who failed to repair it properly. I found Chesapeake Auto Body through Yelp and after seeing all the great reviews I was sure they were the ones to go to. They not only replaced the regulator which was bad, but they also repaired things that the gas station had broken during their "repair" process. I mentioned that the passenger window also hadn't been operational for a year or so. When I picked up my car which was finished in a day, I was planning to ask for an estimate for the passenger window. They had fixed that window too! Amazingly the total price of repairs came in under the estimate I had been given. I will never take my car anywhere except Chesapeake Auto Body for any body work.
