The waiting room was well kept and had plenty of seats the filled up pretty fast but I can see why - they're so quick They offered 3 different types of vehicle tint in 5 different types of shade for the (middle option) ceramic I chose - blocks out majority of heat and UV which is definitely what we want here in Virginia. The staff was professional but casual, vibe was great, all business - Carlos walked me through the options since I couldn't really hear him on the phone he walked me through them AGAIN when I got there & explained the laws as well as what would best fit for my needs (which is a breast feeding mama in the back seat or pumping while at work!) The cost was about right down the middle from the quotes I'd called around for but no one could get me in faster so I thought Ohkay worth it - they charged me $320 for 20% front and back ceramic tint and the second I got in my F150 I could feel a HUGE difference from the factory tint I had before. Afterwards, I contacted Hot Tint in May 2022. They responded to me that day and told me to stop by the shop. I made an appointment for later that week. When I arrived, I asked them to install the unit and a backup camera. I can't recall how much time it took but it was done in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy with their service. I called a few other shops around this time. A couple had other projects and couldn't get to me for a few months. A couple of others didn't want to touch the van because of its age, manufactured in 1989. Hot Tint was straight-forward. They said let them see what I have and they'll let me know if they could use what I had or needed something else. I appreciate that approach. I did have a couple of problems but they were responsive. While driving home, my radio rebooted twice. The cable came loose so they told me to return to the shop so that they could fix it. The second is my clock resets to 12:00 every time the vehicle is restarted. They told me to bring it by so that they can fix it but I haven't. I'm rarely on the screen to see the time and just had other priorities. I mention these items to show that they were responsive and willing to troubleshoot the problem. I rate them high also because there are many mechanics and technicians who can work on a classic vehicle but refuse to do so. There are a handful like Hot Tint that jumps right in and do the job. I'm finally ready to add an amp and subwoofer so I will be contacting them again soon.
