Our family loves this place. Cave Creek was missing a donut shop and when Glaze opened up it became our Sunday donut date spot. Everything in the case is delicious, fresh and perfectly made. Their breakfast croissants are amazing, the almond croissant is one of my favorites and then their cinnamon rolls!!! I'm not a cinnamon roll fan but my husband made me try it and I was blown away. If you want a fresh donut, this is the place. I have to say the 4 star reviews have got to be from an unfair person. Try them, you won't be disappointed. read more

Had it not been for all of the raving reviews on yelp , I would not have found Glaze Donuts. It is a little difficult to find as they are on the side of the Fry's building and they do not currently have a sign. What they do have- GREAT donuts! And indoor seating and friendly service and coffee and tea. I chose the vanilla sprinkles cake or cake sprinkles- not sure of the correct name, but it had great texture and fantastic flavor. And yes, I had two! I also had the raspberry filled which was heavenly! They said they make them on the premises and they both were very fresh. Next time I am going to try the ham and cheese croissant. This is one to go back to again and again. read more

Like others have said, it's a wonderful addition to the area. It's next to the Goodwill donation office - win, win! I get to drop off my donation and while I'm at it reward myself with a treat. Easy to run in and grab a variety of donuts - they all look delicious (and each one I've tried has been great). I especially like the savory stuffed croissants: ham and cheese or Turkey and cheese. This place recently opened and we couldn't be happier that there's a great, close donut place! It's darling, plus has seating sizes for small kiddos. So far the focus is just donuts, but with so many freshly made choices you really can't go wrong. Also, some surprising flavors like cherry pie, and chocolate covered red velvet. My favorite is the maple French cruller, and my daughter loves the key lime. They say they're expanding the drink menu in time, which will be nice because it's pretty limited right now (they don't have chai yet). Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing. read more

My review is really for service. I love visiting family businesses and small ones as well. When I walked in, I was just stared at. I had to say hello myself. The older woman who took my order barely made eye contact with me, she was so focused in the other women in line behind me to tell her about something being sold out. She gave me my donuts rung me up and said "you all set" and immediately went to cheerfully help the next guest in line. No thank you for coming in or anything. I was definitely not treated like others were in there and it shows. I wont be coming back. I literally felt so unwelcomed in there. Two younger boys, couldn't even ring me up. The reason I'm making this review is for you to think about your service to ALL people. No one is shaming your business or anything. Stopped in on a Sunday morning about 10:30, for the first time. I couldn't decide so I bought a dozen to bring home. I picked all that I liked and then told the girl to add the popular ones to complete my 12. Well they were delicious, I preferred the glazed donuts over the cake donuts, but they were all good. We take our 4 year old and 2 year old sons here for donuts all the time, so we knew we wanted to get donut holes for our oldest's classroom birthday party. I put the order in online for next day pick up of 5 dozen donut holes which was such a simple way to order. I made a note that they were for my sons class birthday party. They were ready to go at pick up time and to my surprise, they went above and beyond and made the cutest donut hole platter with a large donut in the middle for my son! Please read this. I am a 58 year old man who is addicted to donuts, and I have made a fun "science" out of visiting most every donut shop when I'm in a new city. I am THE DONUT GURU. Now for the review. Out of hundreds of donut stops along the last 40 years, I put this glazed donut (the donut of comparison) in my top 2 ever. It is light, not over glazed, super fresh out the fryer(we got warm ones), and absolutely perfect with no knocks or dings to its perfection. The owner and his son Sean, we're offering everybody information as to what was coming out hot as well. Find me something better than a warm perfect donut. And not to many choices, all the classics, maple, sugar raised, chocolate , some cake donuts with sprinkles, and filled donuts. But not 50 selections. They rather have 15 selections perfectly cooked. Coffees, milks and donuts. No other menu items. Place was hopping busy. Steady stream of 5 people in line for like 30 minutes, but they move you through quickly , but with kind and friendly customer service. And every table eating their donuts we're talking the way I'm writing this review. People were literally "shocked" at how good these donuts were. Only true donut aficionados will understand a review of this length for a donut. But the product was worth the buzz and worth my time to exalt its praises. The showstopper is their doughnuts of course, their recipe is fantastic with light not heavy dough, plus the frosting options are unique. Alright, let's be real here, I haven't made a review on this site since like 2015 when I was writing cringe reviews for every place I went to, but I feel like Glaze Donuts definitely warrants me coming back to write a review. First of all, I am so glad we finally have a good donut shop near where I live. Before Glaze opened, the only place within a 20 minute drive to get donuts was the Fry's next to it, and even then, their donuts aren't that great. So when my dad told me that a new donut shop opened right near my house, I could not wait to get back home from college for the summer to try it. I first went the day I came back, me and my dad decided to go get donuts. Nice, cozy interior with lots of places to sit, it honestly felt more like a coffee shop than a donut shop. Shoutout to the guy who has served me both times I went, real nice dude and answered any questions I had about the donuts. I decided to get both the Key Lime Pie Donut and the Strawberry Shortcake Donut. And let me tell you, these were probably some of the best donuts I have had in a long time, maybe ever. I ended up coming back one morning after taking my cat to the vet (the vet is right next to the donut shop) and I got a Peach Pie Donut, which was also amazing. They also had a different variety of donuts the second time I visited so I have no doubt they'll always have a different variety. I plan on visiting again on Monday, since my best buddy is returning from college, and since he's a huge pie fan, I gotta get him to try some of these donuts. Totally looking forward to returning, and I totally recommend this place to anyone who loves donuts. read more

10/10!!! Actually, 100/10! This new spot has quickly became our favorite donut spot. They just know how to run a donut shop. The employees are so nice, and the donuts are some of the best we've ever had. The set up inside is small, but so cozy and kid-friendly which we love. The price is comparable to any other donut places in the area. My favorite is the blueberry cake, which is heaven in your mouth. My husband loves the Apple fritter and maple bacon. My sister's family loves their Turkey pastries. We have a goal to try everything they have, but from our experience-you can't go wrong. Go support this place. They are amazing read more

Drove 45 minutes for them to be closed. Online it says open until 5 everyday and then you pull up and it says closed at 3pm on Saturdays. Absolutely unreal drove up here for nothing. Update your hours on google/apple maps before you get some negative reviews. read more

Scott is very friendly and took the time to make friends with me when I arrived around 5:40am. I requested certain donuts and he immediately went to the back and got them ready for me in 1-2 minutes. Glaze donuts were pretty good. We stopped by here this morning on our vacation. We didn't get any of the "pie" flavored or specialty donuts. We kept it familiar and went with the classic glazed, maple bar, donuts holes, and old fashioned. The donuts were good, but not great. I've had better, but I've had worse. For some reason, the glaze on the donut holes tasted different than the glaze on the regular donut. They had 2 coffee cup sizes and multiple containers of different flavor coffee and creamers. Overall, the experience was great and the people were friendly. I'd frequent this place if I was a local. read more
