Their breakfast burritos are fantastic. They're large and made with some of the best flour tortillas I've ever tasted! I've been eating here for years. Another favorite is the Don Taco. It is huge as well. I usually order pick up but I have been inside once or twice. It's kinda small, but it was clean the last time I did eat inside. The service is friendly and relatively quick for as busy as they usually are . They're only open until 2:pm, so keep that in mind. No alcoholic beverages, but they have a good choice of Mexican sodas. The last time I ordered - 8/9/26 the green sauce (which is usually some of the best around) was very runny and watery. Take out on a Saturday afternoon My first time there, as a new resident of Godley. A few patrons inside and a few drive through customers ... A small restaurant, and friendly staff. We ordered two super tacos to go and we were glad we did. I ordered the chicken fajita, and my wife ordered the pork. Great size, homemade tortillas, and all mixed with onions and other items. Due to this being a small town, we frequent this place often for breakfast tacos and burritos. Today I decided to try their lunch and got a # 9 burrito plate. It was good, but I feel that it's missing something. The brisket is really plain and almost had a pot roast type of quality, and I also felt like there should be onions or something else inside with it. Their rice and beans are also good. read more

I'm not the type to leave reviews, but after experiencing what I did this morning, I feel like I'm obligated to. The first time I ate here it was great. The burrito was a good size and the red sauce was great as well, so naturally I decided to come back. It's a Monday morning and I arrived at the store at 6:01am (one minute after their opening time) to get some food because I hadn't eaten all night throughout my work shift overnight. I then got out of my car and tried the door. Locked. The lights were also off in the dining area and there were a couple of women back in the kitchen who had clearly been there on time and prepared. I'm a pretty patient guy, so I went back and sat in my car to wait for them to open. Another customer also had pulled up into the parking lot and tried the door, only to find that it was still locked, and go back into his car to wait. There was also a car in the drive thru waiting as well. 20 minutes later, I see a white Jeep Grand Cherokee pull up. Then a mexican dude wearing basketball shorts and a hoodie with his hood up gets out and walks in the back door. It was obvious to me at that point that the women in the back were waiting for this guy, who was clearly running late, to open the store 20 minutes after the time in which the business should be open. About 3 minutes after that, I see him turn the lights on and come to unlock the front door. At this point I had been waiting in my car for over 20 minutes for this dude to open a business that should've already been opened and I was HUNGRY from working hard all night without an opportunity for a lunch break. Still, I remained patient as I was the first one inside and the first one to place my order for a burrito and 3 red sauces. When the register asked me for a tip, I pressed No Tip (obviously) because it's absolutely ridiculous to ask for a tip on a To-Go order AND because of the fact that it had already been almost half an hour since I got there. The man behind me ordered and so did the drive thru and they both tipped, so can you guess what happened? I watched as another burrito was prepared for the customer behind me first, then for the drive thru order (which I can understand). At this point I was getting irritated and was considering causing a scene, but I remained calm until the lazy bum wearing the hood finally came and gave me my burrito last. At this point I thought "okay, cool. they may be incompetent, lazy, and give pathetic service but at least I got my food." I drove home, and guess what? The mexican bum that made me wait half an hour for my food gave me the wrong sauces. They were red, but it wasn't the same as the usual red sauce that everyone gets that's spicy. I will probably never be returning to Don Taco and I'll forever remember this business as a place that's ran by bums who can't arrive at work on time. I've worked in the food industry as a teenager and it's incredibly easy, so the fact that Don Taco is relying on a grown man who can't do such a simple and easy job is a VERY BIG SIGN that I should take my business elsewhere. Tried Don Taco for the first time on Memorial Day (I was pleasantly surprised it was open) and we stopped by since it was recommended by our realtor. I'm Mexican, so finding Mexican food that's actually good is incredibly difficult. This place did not disappoint, the aguas Frescas were good, the spicy salsa was actually spicy, and the service was amazing. Their flour tortillas are homemade (this is incredibly rare, if you know you know) & are so good, portion sizes are very generous as well. I will definitely make the 40 minute drive to eat here again. read more

had lunch there a few days ago and it was good. The guy at the front is very nice and courteous. Today I had breakfast. I ordered megas which is my favorite Mexican breakfast food. Unfortunately I couldn't find any egg in the pile of tortilla chips, peppers and onions. My beans were cold and the flour tortilla I ordered was greasy. I moved here from west Texas and I haven't found a good place for megas yet. read more

This isn't fast food so if ur going to go thru the drive through your going to have to be patient. No problem It's good food, small town, nice Hispanic lady working the window I ordered a simple breakfast burrito sausage, egg and cheese. Hot sauce was homemade, fresh and hot. The tortilla was homemade and great everything else was what it should be. Less than 5 bucks and that included a large, grow hair on your chest, old school, Probably folgers coffee. read more

Decent Mexican food and is very fresh. The red salsa was watered down but the green salsa was thick and very spicy which is my style. The staff is really nice but doesn't speak English perfectly so if you want un-sweet tea be very clear or you will be drinking a pound of yummy sugar. read more

It was terrible she was having a conversation with the lady at the drive thru window while trying to take my order it was ridiculous I was 16 minutes late to school and waited for 25 minutes and my food was sitting at the window for 10 of those minutes And on top of that they messed my order up. terrible customer service. This place is a must try!! I eat here at least once a week!! They have the best Barbacoa tacos in town. This place is a true definition of real Mexican food. The ladies who work there are just the sweetest and kindest to myself and my daughter. I saw someone say the red sauce is watery... it kinda is, but that is the style of sauce it is. It is not a chunky salsa like picante. The red sauce is super yummy, especially with a breakfast burrito for breakfast! The green sauce is really spicy, and is super yummy on the street tacos!! The drive thru is NOT FAST FOOD!!! Lol!! They are quick, but just remember they make the food to order! Beans and rice are homemade and delicious as well. You can go in and dine in, and enjoy some chips and salsa. Be patient because it does take the lady a minute to get to you. She's running the register/counter/drive thru, as well as bagging orders, and prepping a few things when busy, but know this, she will care for you like family!!! read more
