He explained how things work and the different kinds of coverage and really helped me get educated about what I needed. I wanted to purchase my insurance from Rob because he spent so much time with me, however the best plan for me turned out to be one that doesn't pay commissions. Despite that, Rob still helped me with information, phone numbers, etc., even though there was literally nothing in it for him! Got a response from this agents location. Within 24 hours, on 08/31/2026 at approximately 3:45PM MST, I received an unsolicited telemarketing call on my phone number from an outbound representative operating on behalf of HBW Leads LLC. During the call, the representative explicitly stated they were calling to connect me with an Allstate agent for an insurance quote. When I questioned how they obtained my information so quickly after my private inquiry with a completely different carrier, the representative claimed that the timing of their call was a mere "coincidence". They also tried to claim it was public data from voting registration. Based on my experience in the IT industry, and the precise next-day timing, this is an obvious evasion. My real-time consumer shopping data was actively intercepted, purchased, or transferred without my explicit knowledge or consent to fuel an aggressive outbound telemarketing solicitation. Furthermore, my phone number is actively registered on the National Do Not Call Registry.

When I saw the customer service my fiancé was receiving at geico (who he's been a customer of 13 years), I decided to switch over to them when I recently bought my new vehicle. I called to cancel my policy with Allstate and I thought we had everything settled when I let them know I would send over all pertinent information to make sure we could cancel without there being any lapse in coverage. I had not heard back after 2 days about my cancellation, so I called and realized I made a typo in the email address (oops!). The shock I had when my agent said she had NO idea who I was and that we never had this conversation was absolutely baffling to me since it was not that long between our initial conversation and the follow up. Today, I went to call customer service since I did not hear back from the agent about the confirmation of cancellation only to find out it had been cancelled and I did not receive any final confirmation or communication that she had completed the cancellation. I am so thankful to be done and no longer needed their services, but just know if you need to cancel your policy for whatever reason- you should be prepared to have to be really on top of it so you're not paying double.
