We always leave with a bag filled with our favorites and something new to try. We have given the gift boxes for holiday gifts in the past - they are beautifully packaged. We've also ordered online and shipped things to family (and restocked our faves when we can't get there in person). We've eaten at the adjacent restaurant, and always have a great experience. The cherry chicken salad is my fave! The ice cream is fantastic, too - we often stop multiple times during our vacation week. The vanilla cherry twist is my favorite (it was not available this year - so sad!!), but all of the cherry flavors are great.

The "Loaded Lug", "cherry bomb ranch", and the basket of fries with the "cherry BBQ spice" all disappointed in terms of their cherry flavor. The food was otherwise tasty, but we were left confused about the cherry part. The ice cream on the other hand is a notch up, as long as you're into a sweet cherry taste. Would highly recommend getting a scoop or two (pictured), especially for the price (the second scoop is only like $0.40 more!). Overall, beautiful property and a lively atmosphere, but just disappointed with the food.

Reservations were set up in advance at the wineries ,Julia took us inside to make sure everything was going well , came and got us when it was time to move on but NEVER made us feel rushed once !! She explained where we were going and a little about the area and history of the wineries. Last year we tried to do some of this on our own and it didn't go well . This time i wasn't going to make the same mistake !! The charter was totally first class !! You will see great value in return for your investment. Next year we will definitely call and set up a charter it's the only way to go !! Thank you for giving us such a great day !!!

We visited 5 wineries on a Friday afternoon. We went up Old Mission Peninsula and chose our wineries based on the views. The peninsula is beautiful! Julia was a great guide and we had so much fun! Highly recommend booking this tour!

Her warmth and friendliness was matched by the staff who made our dining experience so comfortable. We were promptly seated and received outstanding service. Portions were large and meals come with bread and a house antipasto salad. Our meals were exceptional. My wife had Chicken Saltimbocca and I tried Linguine with Salmon. Chicken was flavorful; salmon was perfect; the pasta was 4 star. The food was so good that we even ventured into a dessert (rare for us). We tried a lemon cake with glaze and VERY fresh strawberries; it was wonderful. A small restaurant that is a gem and well worth it. An outstanding dining experience. Exceptional food; the service and atmosphere were amazing.

(Rest of the party was long done by the time we got meals). Asked for the manager but our server (Liz?) said she was the manager and tried to fix it by cooking the steaks more - kinda was uncool to sit while everyone else ate while 2 of our party were waiting. Food : steaks (see above), pesto pasta was good. Heirloom tomato salad was very good but star was tomatoes themselves and presentation was odd with dollop of dressing on each tomato - needed some acidity in the dressing. Chicken saltimbocca was OK but very sweet. Nearby places were closed so we ordered dessert. Tiramisu wasn't very good and peach cake was dry but probably also tainted by the experience. They comped the dessert after we ordered. Bill was over $300 for a crappy experience. Wouldn't recommend. We were here 15 years ago and it was really good and we were looking forward to returning - we live 1600 miles away so it kinda was a big deal to return here over La Becasse. Oh well.
