The grocery store used to be called Korkels and many of the townies still call it that even though Korkel does not own the store anymore. The groceries here are basic. Just the typical things you may need in everyday life. I was very excited to see that the mini mall section reopened which has a little sporting goods store, video rental store and hardware. These are not independent merchants. All of this merchandise is part of the grocery store so you go there if you want to pay. Last time I was here the mini mall was closed and boarded up. You could look through the boards and see it in shambles so I am very happy to see that is no longer the case!
