This was one of the places I had bookmarked for months before our trip. I made sure to call and order ahead for me and my parents. When we got there our order was ready, and I ordered a hot coffee to pair with it. We ended up sitting outside to enjoy our rolls and coffee. I made sure to get mine smothered. Frosting was delicious and rolls were super fresh. I have to say I think I was expecting this to be my all time favorite cinnamon bun. It was good, but not the best one ever. Been coming here for years because the rolls are amazing. Nothing beats a warm freshly baked roll in the morning. I have tried them all and do find my favorite to be pecan, while my wife enjoys the cinnamon. They can sell out within an hour or two of open on a busy summer weekend. The staff is very efficient and the line goes quickly. They are very nice and happy to help, answer questions, and customize your frosting level ;). These cinnamon rolls are amazing! I tried the pecan, salted caramel, and original. The original will always take the cake. I got there at 7:40am (they open at 7:30am) and there was already a line. But they seem to have a really great system that keeps the line moving and the wait isn't long at all. The shop is simple, small, and cute. Came here on a Tuesday morning on our way to Rocky Mountains national Park. I was a little concerned that they would run out by the time we got there because we were driving in late morning and the parking lot was looking bare . We got there at 9:30 and they only had a few options left. Not a lot of seating, but I'm assuming a lot of people just grab and go. We got the salted caramel cinnamon bun, and I think one of the workers noticed that I was a little bummed that they ran out of all the cinnamon buns with icing so she offered to put some icing on my cinnamon bun, which was really nice of her. Cinnamon bun was so good. Nice soft moist with a sweet flavor that's not overly sweet. I'm glad we were able to get a cinnamon bun because 10 minutes later one of the workers walked out to put out the sold out sign. This place is a must stop on your way to the national park. If I could rate this place 10/5 I would. First off. It's an adorable little shop surrounded by the mountains the it's just a beautiful spot. Inside is cozy. Only one lady working and everything was clearly baked that morning. The rolls are big and they are perfectly soft and sweet. You can never go worn with a classic cinnamon roll but the pecan was delicious and the cherry was an excellent fruit combo. In the top 2 places to get cinnamon rolls I've been to. So many good things said about this place so I had to try it myself. I read that it was best to order ahead of time by calling (number on FB page) and go to pick up on ready date so I did that. Everything went smoothly. Order was ready to go. We drove by this place a few times and it doesn't take line before the sold out sign is posted, so order ahead. I chose a pecan roll and a Carmel roll. Husband had two cinnamon rolls smothered in frosting. They were sooooo good. I saved one for the next day and warmed it up in the microwave and it was as soft as the first day. Staff was great. He asked me if I wanted it warmed up there when I picked it up. You must stop here if you are in Estes Park for great cinnamon rolls. One roll is enough for two people. It is on HWY 34 which is the Hwy out of Estes Park going up Trail Ridge road. Rolls are great to snack on driving up the road. Smiling counter person, quick service in the bakery. A few tables inside with some outdoors as well as you enjoy the river below. Wow! Thankful that a friend told me about this incredible place. She told me it was a MUST when in Estes Park and now I know why. You have to be prepared. Get there right when they open at 7:30am. We were. Line already forming and parking lot full. We only had to wait a few minutes till the sweetest, fluffiest cinnamon rolls made their way into a box and then into our mouths. The views here are incredible, the coffee very good, but the cinnamon roll with thick, sweet frosting stole the show. We also got a pecan sticky roll and the fruit of the day roll, cherry. Incredible as well. I took a few tastes of each and we shared a full one. This way we could have some left over for post hike. And so happy we did. What a treat. read more

The five stars for this cozy local bakery are all well-deserved. Just down the road from where we were staying, Cinnamon's Bakery serves up cinnamon rolls, pecan sticky buns, and coffee. There was one friendly gentleman manning the front all by himself when we arrived soon after the 7:30am opening and he was very friendly and efficient. The line wasn't too long and we had two old fashioned classic cinnamon rolls and one pecan sticky bun in a box to go in no time. We opted for the icing for the rolls on the side and I'm glad we did; you can request that when you order if you don't want a lot of icing. Between my husband and myself, those three items were gone in a flash--so delicious!
