Really nice inside. The staff is nice. The coffee is fine, but the baked goods look yummy.

We stayed at the little cabins next door to this place and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and coffee I feel that Estes has very few nice dining places, most are mediocre at best, so it was nice to find one more place to finally add to the list of places to come back to The first time we dropped in we were a bit hungry so we shared a pizza. It was a little over the top but extremely good! The next time we went we got their drink specials of the day and they were also super good You also get a killer view and have the option to sit inside or out! Definitely will be back!

    Upstairs seating area, so nice!

We are on a road trip and had an amazing morning viewing elk in RMNP. We have loved visiting Colorado and can see why Coloradans are proud of their glorious natural parks, peaks, and forests. This cafe has beautiful views from the upstairs seating area and is conveniently situated close to the entrance of RMNP. Our drinks were great, and our pastries were also so good. We felt that the woman working the counter was unnecessarily hostile towards us, she seemed annoyed at us just for ordering. This intensified when I asked if she could heat a cinnamon roll (which is fine to give it to us cold, I just didn't expect the negativity upon asking, considering that there was a toaster/microwave thing right there and no line). I had seen photos of the beautiful melting icing cinnamon roll online, and that's mainly what brought us in. When we were sitting upstairs, we heard her being really sweet/nice to everyone else that came in. I just felt unwelcome. But our drinks and pastries were really nice, and so were the views and comfy seating upstairs.

    Why the fig not

This cafe was a very nice spot for us to grab lunch in the middle of our roadtrip. I got the why the fig not pizza which was $20 but the portion was pretty big. One thing I wish is that the dough had a bit more flavor or salt because once I got to the crust it didn't have any flavor. The service was good and it's a nice small business. The restrooms were clean and I liked the wallpaper they had inside. They also have a water refilling station near the restroom so it was a perfect pit stop.

Perfect pair. Almond croissant and Oso house blend.

Another great stop. Best almond croissant EVER!!! My waistline will prove I know a thing or two about pastries. This is top notch. Again great service and staff. A must stop when in EP

this was surprisingly sooo yummy! my favorite was the mushroom pizza. i'm not usually a crust person, but it was so light and crispy. the workers at the service counter were so nice and helpful. love that they had indoor and outdoor seating. the upstairs seating was cool

Ok, so I was determined to find the best cinnamon roll in Estes Park. This was not the best cinnamon roll in Estes Park . It was more of a croissant type of roll, when I was really hankering after the kind with that soft, doughy texture. Did it taste bad? Absolutely not. So I can't comment on anything else except that the muffin was a bit better. I found overall this not to be my top pick for bakeries, though! Next time I'm in the beautiful Estes Park I want to check out Cinnamon's bakery. Servers were kind!

    Second floor gorgeous views

I fell in love with the views at this cafe. The second floor offers gorgeous views of the mountain while you enjoy your food. I stopped by for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavor of their burritos. They are freshly made since they have a working kitchen. I didn't have a chance to try their flatbreads but if their burritos are any indication of deliciousness then I'm sure they are great. The coffee here is really good too. I opted for the my usual order of vanilla latte with almond milk and really enjoyed my drink.

This is the perfect pit stop either on your way in our out of a hike in the Rocky Mountains! I was visiting a friend in town and we stopped here for matcha's after our morning hike. I added the CBD add on to mine which was a nice twist and the drinks were 10/10. The customer service was great, the gal making drinks was very friendly and quick. It's a super cute interior with massive ceilings and looks like they have an event space as well. Their juice/smoothie menu looked delicious in addition to their pizzas.

Such a cute and aesthetic place, perfect after a Rocky Mountain National Park hike. We got the margherita pizza with pickled onions and it was served super hot and fresh. I enjoyed the sauce a lot!

I visited the Bird's Nest every day that I was in Estes Park, including a special trip at 6am before I left for the airport... yes it really is that good! First let me start by saying: pristine location and aesthetic inside. Gorgeous views of the mountains, plentiful seating and an adorable loft area perfect for catching up with friends. Service was excellent and friendly, offering recommendations for what to try. The drinks? Incredible. I tried multiple seasonal lattes and an evergreen latte, all amazing. Baked goods?? Get a biscotti to dip in your coffee (trust me). The PIZZA? My gosh, so unexpectedly good for a coffee shop. The Bird's Nest was one of my favorite foodie locations in Estes and my only regret is I live out of state and can't visit more often.

    The view from upstairs.
    Glenn K.

The pizza with elk pepperoni was delicious and the crust, oh the crust was amazing. The place was quiet and we had a wonderful view of the Rockies sitting upstairs. We even went back the next morning for coffee and baked goods.

Beautiful cafe and lovely service, as well as solid food offerings gives this a 5 star! Stop by and hope that the upstairs is accessible because it's gorgeous :)

We ordered a personal for each of us so we could try different things and so glad that we did. We all had our favorite but unanimously the best pizza we tried was the Spicy Calabrian, followed by a pepperoni pizza. The flavors of Italy was really good and also the Marguerite. The crust in all of these was flavorful and perfectly crispy. The tomato sauce was really fresh you can literally taste the tomatoes! So good. The spicy Calabrian flavor was like nothing we have ever had, it was rich and spicy and yummy. We ordered a large salad with vinaigrettes and that was crisp and fresh. Overall 5 or the pizza. The robots that serve you the food are fun. Service was good and the decor and vibe was old style New York style. Great spot even better pizza for a 4.75 overall.

I slept about 4 hours the night before to make it early for sunrise. To say that a few tasty beers were what the doctor ordered would be the understatement of the century! None of this matters, of course, to the good folks at Rocky Cut Brewing Company. This is off the main drag of Estes in an unassuming strip plaza. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish. Featured ingredients: Cascade, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, & Simcoe hops * Recommended adventure: hiking Black Lake, climbing the Twin Owls, skiing upper Hidden Valley." A perfectly apt description. I would summarize this beer just as they did, focusing on hops, citrus, and pine. Absolutely delicious, a memorable IPA in recent memory. I liked it so much I ordered it again and it tasted just as delicious the second time down! They also had a food truck outside, so safe to assume they do this often. Would love to try more of their beers during my next visit. Rock Cut, I see you!

We also wanted to sit outside along the water because the view was amazing. Unfortunately, that came at a cost. We were quoted 15-20 minutes for a table, so we agreed. However, we continued to watch people walking in and getting seated at inside tables right away. At the 45-minute mark, I went up to the host and asked just to be seated inside. Suddenly, a table was ready for us outside. Along with another family that checked in about 20-30 minutes after us. A manager swung by soon after we were seated and dropped off a plate of onion rings on both our tables for the long wait (although the other party's wait didn't even compare to ours). The onion rings were delicious, even though they didn't come with any sort of dipping sauce. Before getting the onion rings, we had already decided that we wanted the fried asparagus, so we still ordered them, too. It was a lot of fried food. LOL But soooo good. The salads come in a small or large bowl. Since we had so many appetizers, we all just ordered the small. I chose the Cobb Salad. It was amazing. And very, very filling for a "small" bowl. There were a lot of ingredients, which I appreciate in a salad. If I was hungry, I could definitely polish off a large bowl. When we visited on Sunday after hiking at RMNP for the morning, there wasn't much of a crowd here. We ordered and the the food only took about 8 minutes to arrive. Meeker Margherita ($21) - Perfectly cooked crust in this pizza. The cornicione in particular is expertly risen and cooked, giving plenty of charred bubbles and the perfect chewiness. The undercarriage, while floppy, isn't soggy at all. It hold up very well to the ingredients on top. The crust is first slathered sparingly with tomato sauce. The sauce is reduced quite a bit and tastes almost like a concentrated tomato paste. They don't use a lot so it doesn't soak into the crust at all. On top, there's a couple of pieces of basil giving a very noticeably fresh aroma. There's plenty of melted mozzarella cheese, which seem to be of the pearl variety, mild tasting and stretchy. They apparently also drizzle some EVOO, although there's no particular peppery or fruity notes, or heck any real olive oil flavor at all. With how well all the other ingredients worked together, the olive oil is very disappointing. Still, it's a very well constructed pizza. (5/5) Panorama Peak ($23) - Again, this pizza has the perfect crust. Instead of tomato sauce, it's slathered with ricotta cheese, making the pizza very rich and creamy. More melted mozzarella on top of that for even more fatty richness, then pieces of proscuitto, chewy and salty. The meat isn't sliced that well so it's messy to eat. They then essentially cover the pizza with an arugula, tomato, and shaved parmesan salad. The arugula is super peppery and bitter, the tomatoes are fresh and sweet, and the parmesan adds more saltiness. The main sources of salt are the parmesan and the proscuitto. Neither are added in large enough quantities to make the pie overly salty. Mixed in the with the arugula are a couple of stems of cilantro for some reason. Nothing on the menu actually uses cilantro so I'm a bit confused where it comes from. It's essentially a salad on pizza dough so everything falls off the crust very easily making it messy to eat. (4/5) I'm very impressed with the food served at Mangia Mangia. I didn't expect to find such great pizza in a small touristy mountain town. I'll be back next time I'm in the area!
