Went in to trouble shoot my speakers and left with the same results, speakers not working, the answer I got was that I should go back to the person who installed them.? I personally don't think they have experience or knowledge of car systems that have amps and capacitors involved. Took the car to another place and they were able to locate the issue being a channel on the amp that was bad, these guys never bothered to check the amp aside from banging on it to see if that would cause the speakers not to work. read more

He charged me $60.00 just to tell me that it just needed to be "re-booted". If you don't know these guys personally, don't go here. To give you some subtext a friend of mine and I were installing a new head unit in my girlfriend's 2006 Scion xB. We got stuck on a certain issue and so we went to these guys because they were the closest car audio place to us. So when these guys diagnosed the problem which took all of 5 minutes, they literally unplugged one wire and capped off two other wires and then turned around and had the nerve to charge me 50 bucks. I looked at them, smiled, gave them my $50 and walked out never to walk back in. Just be aware that this seems to be a homie hookup type place and I certainly don't look like I'm from the area. Under NO circumstances should you have this shop do a car audio installation for you. I came in to have them install a brand new aftermarket speaker system , amplifier, and subwoofer and they did a horrendous job. They charged around $600 which seemed like a great deal but if I could do it all over again, I would never. The whole system sounded horrible, barely better than my factory speakers and the left side speakers didn't work a couple days after I took. All the gear I got was great and brand new (Rockford Fosgate and JL Audio) so I know it wasn't an equipment issue. I took it back in and the owner pretended like he didn't hear an issue and when I clearly demonstrated it was definitely off, they took another look. I came back later to pick it up and they claimed it was fixed but it clearly wasn't. I didn't want to deal with them again so I decided to take it to another shop. I literally took it to a Best Buy Geek Squad and they were INCREDIBLY knowledgable. They took one look and recognized the installation was horribly done and by someone with no experience. I paid them a couple hundred bucks to re-install the amp and it sounded AMAZING afterwards. The installer walked me through everything they did, all of the issues with the previous installation, and how to best optimize my sound. Do yourself a favor and take it anywhere besides this place, your wallet will thank you. Total waste of money bringing it here. Honestly, highly recommend the Best Buy in Pasadena for car audio installation based on my experience. I wouldn't have thought they would be as good as they were but they were way more knowledgeable and reasonably priced than this place was. read more
