My car stereo keep "glitching" and would just shut down for no reason. I first went to a car stereo repair shop close to home where the technician was focused on everything BUT my issue! He charged me $60.00 just to tell me that it just needed to be "re-booted". It "glitched" again shortly after leaving his shop and I just didn't want to go back because I felt that it would be a waste of time trying to get him to do his job right. Upon arriving, I told him the issue and he said that it would take a while, because his team would do a thorough check to figure out if it was the radio or it was a short somewhere in the system.It was nice to hear that he was willing to put in the work to find the real issue! He called me within an hour and told me the radio was the issue. He gave me a GREAT deal (including the diagnostic on my original radio, a part for the new radio to fit in my dash and one heck of an amazing Pioneer stereo) I couldn't be happier with my whole experience there!. I've read other reviews about businesses were people say this was the "worst business experience in their entire life" or things like that. I've always thought these people were exaggerating because there can only be one experience like that for each persons lifetime. Well, this business experience I had at Glendale auto sound with Albert was that terrible. It really was literally the worst business experience I've ever had, and I am 69 years old! It has taken me several months just to be willing to think about the miserable experience. I had there in order for me to sit down to take time to write this review and I'm going to keep it as short as possible, but here are some of the highlights of why it was so terrible for me. Albert, asked for cash and I stupidly paid him in cash for a terrible new radio and a terrible installation. My phone didn't work. The reception is terrible and when I tried to explain this to Albert, he kept explaining why there was no problem. Like I can't hear the static in the radio or I can't notice that I can't use my telephone!!! Anyway, I ended up going five different times trying to resolve various issues and eventually I gave up and literally paid him to put back my old radio. This experience cost me five separate trips, each one taking about an hour and a half and the end result was that I ended up with my same radio that I started with. Only now it doesn't work as well because the wiring occasionally shorts out in the car. I see that this business has had many positive reviews, which is great, but as far as I'm concerned, I've been ripped off. Oh yeah, at the end, when Albert told me that he couldn't possibly return the radio that I had just purchased from him I asked him to at least give it to me since I actually believe I could return it for the money I spent for it. However, as soon as I asked him that, he suddenly told me he couldn't possibly give it to me because he was going to "use it for spare parts". I think this is just such a bunch of bull and, in case I wasn't absolutely clear on this point, I am really really unhappy with Albert and this business! read more

Under NO circumstances should you have this shop do a car audio installation for you. I came in to have them install a brand new aftermarket speaker system , amplifier, and subwoofer and they did a horrendous job. They charged around $600 which seemed like a great deal but if I could do it all over again, I would never. The whole system sounded horrible, barely better than my factory speakers and the left side speakers didn't work a couple days after I took. All the gear I got was great and brand new (Rockford Fosgate and JL Audio) so I know it wasn't an equipment issue. I took it back in and the owner pretended like he didn't hear an issue and when I clearly demonstrated it was definitely off, they took another look. I came back later to pick it up and they claimed it was fixed but it clearly wasn't. I didn't want to deal with them again so I decided to take it to another shop. I literally took it to a Best Buy Geek Squad and they were INCREDIBLY knowledgable. They took one look and recognized the installation was horribly done and by someone with no experience. I paid them a couple hundred bucks to re-install the amp and it sounded AMAZING afterwards. The installer walked me through everything they did, all of the issues with the previous installation, and how to best optimize my sound. Do yourself a favor and take it anywhere besides this place, your wallet will thank you. Total waste of money bringing it here. Honestly, highly recommend the Best Buy in Pasadena for car audio installation based on my experience. I wouldn't have thought they would be as good as they were but they were way more knowledgeable and reasonably priced than this place was. read more

I brought my older Civic in here because I wanted to have a new CarPlay unit installed, and needed some noise and wiring issues dealt with. I've installed a lot of the gear myself so I do appreciate how it can be a simple task but a lot can go wrong too, which is why I like bringing it to a pro. Damn. I really thought my speaker was broken. I took it in and they said that nothing was wrong with it. So that promoted me to look closer and remove some of my door panels and rattling sound was coming from the panels. So all I had to do is just place felt between the contact points. I do have a few issues with the quality of the installation and the level of communication. I have a Porshe Cayenne, which can be a bit tricky for installation. In our first conversation discussing the install I asked if they would be using a wire harness so that it can be restored to factory later, he said yes of course.
