Horrible experience. I went online looking at a new 2026 Nissan Armada SV. The MSRP was listed at $65,465, but the dealership advertised it for $57,285 after discounts. That price immediately caught my attention. A salesperson named Karina called me and was very polite and professional. She explained that the advertised price included a dealer discount and a $3,500 rebate, and she specifically told me there were no hidden rebates and that anyone could qualify for that price. I then asked for the out-the-door price. Surprisingly, I was told they do not provide that information over the phone because it is the owner's policy. When I asked why, I was told I would need to come into the dealership to get the total price. This made no sense to me. Taxes go to the state, license fees are standard, and there is usually a documentation fee. I simply wanted to know what I would actually be paying before making a trip to the dealership. When I was told the owner would not allow anyone to provide an out-the-door price over the phone, I responded that the owner should look out the window and keep babysitting the inventory. She said to shop other Nissan dealers. In today's market, customers expect transparency, and refusing to provide basic pricing information only drives buyers elsewhere. read more

Spent $20k+ at this dealership for a used car purchase. Of course, everything went smoothly until I wrote and gave them a check. They gave me the key and I asked if there was another key and there wasn't. And no it wasn't communicated to me before I purchased. Sales rep said just go to Chevy dealership and spend $350 for a key replacement. Car also did not have books, no owners manual, no nothing. Sales rep text me a manual document which has 350 pages. Told them that I really don't want to print and put 350 pages in the glove compartment. Did they offer to get me one? No! Told me to go on Chevy website and order one. Honestly, I don't feel like I'm was asking them to move mountains, but the lack of appreciation and caring for a customer who just dropped $20k was quite disappointing. They told me they've serviced the wrong car as I was checking out. I had to wait an additional hour and a 1/2 to get my oil change. Sad days... Nissan no longer makes reliable cars for average folks. My 2015 Nissan Note had under 80k miles. Low miles due to Covid and the switch to work at home. I baby my cars since it is an investment in a necessity. Even had the CVT Transmission fluid drain & refilled at Bill Kay Nissan 8/25/22. The cost to replace the CVT transmission is $5.4k. The car's retail blue blue book is $4.2k The mgr was nice when he heard of the transmission failure and offered a $1.5K trade-in. Sorry, but do not want another Nissan with CVT quality (see consumer report). The mgr was even nicer to offer $1.5 even on used car. One issue, I do not trust The trade-in game. After paying off the Nissan Note, I just cannot afford a new car payment. Especially after two knee replacements and a should replacement due to a hit&run driver that hit me while I was my bicycle on a side street. It was a dark metallic grey Jeep that got away on May 7, 2020 at 7:06pm. So I sold the car for junk at $300. The cherry on the poop pile was paying the service bill which included a charge for oil change. Because service decided to do the oil change first, and then check the transmission. No really $266.05 for Syn Oil Chg and then the transmission evaluation. At end of the day, I sold my 2015 Nissan Note with under 80k miles for $33.95. Truly a nightmare investment. read more

They've really fallen off in the service department. Went in for front end issues. About a hour and a half they down next to me and tell me it will cost $3742. I was leaving town so I told them I'd call when I get. Still in shock when I left I stopped at one of their competitors. They gave me a quote of $1900 out the door. I get home and a friend stops by at tell him about my experience. He looks at the quote they gave me. He says there's no break on here. They just wrote a number. Shady? Should have listen to the nice lady sitting in waiting area. She said "no one here has heard good news today. Makes you want to buy a horse." I still think it's tacky that they let everyone hear everyone's business. They should take them back to their desk. They're definitely doing something different there and not a good different. Total bait and switch job for a pre-owned car listing. Called to confirm that a car they had listed which was an older Nissan-certified was warranty applicable like they ad stated and was told multiple times that it was. Drove 40 minutes to find the car had a horrible engine noise after their "167 point" inspection with a very surprised sales person who asked if I wanted them to take it to service before my purchase. Sales manager Vito outright told me that the listing for the warranty applicability was completely wrong and that his people who wrote the listing should have "known better". He didn't even deny that it was false advertising when I pointed it out in the actual ad. I had bought a car there once before years back and they were honest and good to deal with.... They also said it doesn't just come out of nowhere, so when I saw it that first night, it was there way before that. I'm still convinced that white dot on the very headlight that isn't working was there for a reason. You're right, you didn't see my vehicle to do the things that you suggested, because you stopped responding to my emails. I even called you no less than four days, and you were never in. My cousin brought her car into this Nissan car dealer to get her oil changed on her 2017 Nissan. When they were finished changing her oil and they told her that she needed new brakes on the back of her vehicle that there was 3% left our aunt is sick with cancer and we are trying to save our money so she does not have to work while she goes through her chemo and therapy sessions. We took the car to another reputable car repair shop and found out she did not need brakes! She had 6% left on the back. She was so upset. She did not even want to deal with this place so I called for her. JIM the service manager was very rude! He insisted on bringing the car back in there for him to see if he did not want to see the paperwork that I had gathered. He did not want to call the place where I took the car he did not want to do anything except have the car brought back in for a second opinion! We did not have time to do that, so we did not. I do not recommend this dealer! They are shady, and they make up repairs to make money.!! read more

If I could give ZERO stars to Glendale Nissan in Glendale Heights, I would!!!! My daughter and I went to Glendale Nissan because she wanted to purchase a new car. When we arrived, the salesman Rolando met us outside and told us where to look for the Nissan Rogues and went back inside the building. We then went to let him know she found a car she wanted to look at, he then gave us the keys for a quick test drive. (The car had no protection on the floor and bird poop running down the window). After our short drive around the parking lot, we went back into the office to talk numbers with the "finance" guy Vito, who came in with the price, but when we inquired about their 0% financing, he stated that 0% financing was not available, even though it was clearly stated on their website. He stated they offered 3.9% and when I said that 3.9 was too high, he said "You think 3.9 is high? Go to your bank and see what you'll pay, financing can go to 5.9%!" I turned to my daughter and asked if she wanted to check out Mitsubishi because they have 0%, the guy Vito said "You want Mitsubishi, go to Mitsubishi, good luck!" SERIOUSLY? He seemed like he didn't want or need to make a sale even though Rolando claimed the dealership was willing to meet the customers needs and work out some sort of offer. We were made to feel insignificant and chose to walk out the door. We decided drive to BILL KAY NISSAN on Ogden where we had the best experience with Matt K. our salesman. Matt went over every option for financing depending on down payment, including 0% financing! Within a matter of minutes, my daughter was purchasing her new car. Before she drove it off the lot, Matt explained everything the car had to off and everything Nissan had to offer. I brought my car in to replace the brakes and they had an accident with my car - cracked the front bumper and complete dislodged the bumper. This happened on 1/31/22 - it was snowing and they claimed it slid into a snow bank . There is no way that much damage could occur from simply slipping into a snow bank. They said they would fix everything and I foolishly trusted them to. It looked fine when I picked it up but within a day or so I noticed the front mudguard was loose - then I realized I had no windshield wiper fluid because they had also cracked the reservoir that holds the fluid. Back to the dealer to get them fixed - they had to order a new reservoir for fluid but fixed the front mud flap. Three minutes after leaving the dealer I stopped at a store and looked at the mud flap which was already loose. They fixed the mud flap again and installed the new reservoir for the windshield wiper fluid. Now the paint is pealing off the bumper that they supposedly fixed. Now I need to take my car somewhere else to have it inspected because I can't trust the dealership to fix their mistake. My household has purchased at least 8 vehicles from this location over the years and it is beyond unacceptable to be treated so poorly. They would not even offer me anything - no discount on the brakes - no free oil change for my trouble. I have been back three times now and I need to go back a fourth time this week . The service at this dealership and specifically Mario Zubek in finance are horrible. After purchasing four different vehicles from this location due to persistent issues with the staff we decided to take our business elsewhere . Mario was extremely rude to my wife . Extremely rude to myself when I spoke with him . Hung up when I asked for his managers information, and said that I threatened his job ( which never happened in the conversation.) . This is not the first time we have had issues with this location however it will be the last . When I mentioned previous issues we'd had with them Mario's response was well we don't want your business . Which was funny because Mario was already aware we'd taken the business for my wife's car elsewhere. I however am in the position to purchase another vehicle. My current vehicle was one of the FOUR we'd purchased from this location . Due to this interaction I will never purchase another Nissan . In parting almost as a dare Mario exclaimed " Go ahead leave me a bad review on Google , Yelp , and anywhere else !" . You see Mario I was never worried about your job . I am however worried about any other customer who walks into this dealership expecting respect , appreciation, or for a grown man to not act like a child. This is such an dishonest dealership. I've had problems in the past but I'm just going to address the Oil Change/Tire Rotation I went in for today. I get my car back. The inside of my car has some dirt spots. I think whoever worked on my car, had on dirty gloves. Anywho, I drive off. About 1 mile later, the light comes on telling me that the Wiper Fluid is low. This was on when I came in!!! All they did was clear the code. Really? Wiper fluid costs the dealership pennies! My paperwork said all fluids were filled. Clearly not but someone took the time to clear the code. Smh. Now I don't really know if my tires were rotated and my oil was actually changed. I live in the city and this was a long drive. He said they would send me a check for $70 to make up the difference and I would have the check 5 to 10 business days. MARIO then states the car was sold in the morning, which completely contradicted what the sales girl & SUE had said and even they were shocked Mario said "morning." They looked and smirked at each other. THEY EVEN TRY TO "DOUBLE DIP", AND CHARGE FOR ITEMS 1ST CUSTOMER ALREADY PAID FOR!!! WITH ME, IT WAS THE "VIN-ETCH" - LUCKILY I CAUGHT THIS BY REVIEW of the CARFAX REPORT. I have all the email communications. They had sold the car earlier but they use it as BAIT, to get you in and SWITCH to a different car when you reach. It's a Corrupt Dealership and Practices from Top Management down to Sales People. AWFUL SERVICE. Purchased my car new from Glendale Nissan earlier this year. When purchasing, I was told that my first 6 oil changes are complimentary. When I came in for my first oil change today, I was told that my 2017 Nissan Rogue has synthetic oil and that the free oil change was only for basic oil. My options are to pay $45 to get the oil that is CURRENTLY in my car or I can downgrade to the complementary oil... If the "free" oil change requires an upgrade to be in the same condition as when I purchased it, it should never be advertised as free. SALES PEOPLE LIE !!!!!! They tell you a certain APR and promise you Nissan cash towards your down payment and no hidden fees but once you get to sign the contract, they raise the APR, don't give you the down payment assistance/rebate, and throw in extra fees that were not agreed on. Do not do business with this dealer nor it's sales rep Bert Javadi/Bahram. We were in a hurry when signing the contract and did not notice all the extra charges and raised interest until we got home and reviewed the signed contract. We also did not receive the 3,200 rebate. We spoke with the manager and GM and they apologized for how our sales rep lied but will not do anything for us since we signed already (and since they want to keep the extra money they charged us). Managers must be allowing their sales rep to do this, otherwise they would have fixed the situation. Their sorry doesn't pay the extra fees and interest we now have to pay because the sales rep lied. read more

A common practice was for other places to quote a low price and then, when the details were presented, they added an additional $1,000+ for Destination charge. Not the case at Glendale. A great car buying experience! I never write reviews, but wanted share my positive experience at this dealership. I truly don't understand why people are posting so many negative reviews about this dealership. My husband and I contacted a sales person online about a 2016 Nissan Rogue and requested an online price. They responded promptly but of course gave us a price that included all of the incentives. It was still a great price. We decided to give it a shot and visit the dealership. The sales manager Rebecca and our sales person CJ were both great and were really trying to get us into a car that we both wanted. We were kind of picky and test drove a couple of rouges. When we finally picked one they really worked with us to try to get us the price we were comfortable with. They couldn't find us the color that we wanted and so they lowered the price of the car some more. Manager Mario was very helpful and professional. The wait for the finance department was a bit lengthy, but the signing process was really quick. My husband and I visited Gerald Nissan before and did not have a good experience there at all. We are very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend Glendale Nissan to our friends and family. Ask for CJ he's great and will work with you and will try to get you the car you want. The service center is usually pretty great and friendly but this time I came in for my 3rd or 4th "free" oil change since buying my rouge and they insisted I upgrade to the oil a $39.95 charge because this is the synthetic oil my car should be running on, I have been given this option in the past but was assured the free one was fine but this guy seemed admit that my car needed it for better engine life and so on I was confused so I went with it. I bought a 2013 suv with 58k miles, They were nice in order to get the sale, but lied to me saying there was 170 point inspection done on car including checking brakes. That was a lie. 1 month later I need new brake rotors and pads. I contacted them multiple times and still no response. Terrible!! Terrible!! wow they come back with it met safety requirements and they need to be replaced in 2 months. that is a joke. I came to Nissan on 6/10 to get an oil change. I dropped my car off at 7:28pm and they guaranteed it would be done and ready before they close. I told them to please make sure to call me because I had to run back home because we were getting work done. The guy who took care of me when I dropped off the car didn't even look at me and was just trying to get me out the door. Before I left I repeated my number to make sure he had the correct one to call me when it was done. I got so busy with our home renovation that when I looked at the clock it was already 8:48 and I realized I still did not get a call, so I called Nissan and the receptionist just kept answering and hanging up on me. I thought well maybe it's just the phone so I had two other people call and she kept doing the same thing to them. I drove up to Nissan and it was like 9:05/9:10 and as soon as I was pulling up the receptionist was walking out through the other side. I spoke to three guys that were there and I told them what happen so they called the manager and all the manager did was pretty much laugh and say tell her to come back when we open. ‍ I go back this morning 6/11 to speak to the service manager Jim and I let him know what happened and all he said was "sorry I don't know the whole story or what was said to you but that's not how we do business" and he went on to say that they had the wrong number which is insane because I made sure to repeat my number to the service guy before they gave me a ride back home yesterday. I am beyond upset at how this was handled. Me and my family have all purchased vehicles from you and this is the worst experience I ever had. The people here don't give a shit if you go through a horrible experience. All the service manager did was say sorry and give me my keys like pretty much saying go on with your day. I told the floor manager(tall hispanic guy with the glasses) that I was not paying for dealer options and he said if the can make a call to the owner and get it removed would I buy the car .
