Started out with being one small repair, when i came back i was told i needed thousands in repairs more, glad i got a second opinion .

My car just needed a oil change and tire rotation - I heard that Nolte's did great work so I stopped on my way to work, they were able to get my car in while I waited. We usually have our car serviced at a chain auto shop, however this placed was recommended by a family friend while we were visiting Chicago (our home town) over the Holidays. We were very pleased with the service, knowledge and helpfulness of the team. After thorough diagnostics, they identified the problem, and while a simple (and very costly) solution was a turnkey exhaust replacement, they were able to target the issue more specifically and resolve it with a simple replacement part. Honesty and a willingness to provide the best service to the customer, was the difference between a $100 repair versus a $1600 repair. Will def. return when we are back in town. read more

We have an imported diesel cargo van which developed a complex problem. The OEM dealership tried to diagnose the problem three times, unsuccessfully. After discussing the problem with Ed, the service manager, he felt that they could find the problem. Took my van to a different auto mechanic to get my heat fixed last winter who told me that my van most likely wouldn't make it through the winter, but they fixed my heat. My heat was not fixed, and I went the entire winter FREEZING! After going for a whole year without my van dying, I decided to try out Nolte's. They not only actually fixed my heat (for the same price as the other mechanic that didn't do anything), but they told me that they saw no red flags that my van was going to die anytime soon and as long as I kept up on general maintenance we should be good for another couple of years!
