    Front cup holders still dirty.

Just got my car detailed a few days ago, and I was not impressed with the quality of work I received. I have young kids that are messy. On the inside of my doors there were a bunch of dots that don't seem to come out when I rub them. My cup holders were not clean. Considering the money I paid for this, the results were unacceptable and I will not be coming back.

Eugene and his team helped me order the exact spec X3 I wanted. He was very easy going and straightforward to deal with. Midway through the production stages I wanted to add another package in my build, lol. Again, Eugene didn't flinch one bit and added it in (thankfully production had not yet commenced). Delivery was seamless and straightforward (aside from the kids being bored). David in finance was a pleasure to work with; he even checked to see if November incentives were better than what we locked in previously. Not only will I continue to use them for service (brought my old M3 and wife's two X5s here to Alex K., whom I heard is gone and relocated out West sadly), but I will seek out Eugene for future BMWs.

We bought a 2022 BMW X7 M50i from this dealer and, on the day of delivery, my wife opted to purchase the paint protection package for ~$600, which we paid with our personal American Express card. We were then told that someone would reach out to us to set up the service. Around January I finally called and, after a few issues set up to have the service completed. I went in to have the protection done, getting in at 8am, and I was told it would take 2-3 hours. After first choosing to leave, I then decided to stick around and wait. Several hours passed by, and, around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, my service advisor came up to me asking why I didn't leave. I simply told him that I decided to stick around, since it was only supposed to take 2 to 3 hours, and I asked him if the car was ready. He then told me that they didn't even get started on the car, because they listed me as I drop off, thereby putting me in the back of the line. I immediately told them to give me my money back, although he refused, forcing me to talk to the service manager who made up more excuses, finally telling me they would refund the money. They pulled my car up, still dirty, meaning they hadn't even begun to prepare it because the most basic thing you must do before doing the paint protection is wash the car. I'm not sure they had any intention of ever doing it. I reached out to Irv, the GM, who is a worthless moron and a typical car dealership, totally scummy, guy, who claimed they would process the refund on my credit card. However, two weeks later I received a check. Between talking to Irv, and receiving the check, which I deposited, I left a email, very detailed, describing my experience to the owner. Today I got an alert from my bank. Elmhurst BMW head stop payment on the check for my refund. When I called to speak with Irv, he said, "nothing we can do is good enough for you", alleging that this is my fault. He then went on to tell me that they did in fact issued a refund on my credit card, which I still have not verified, and again told me it was my fault. Let's review, we paid for service; they failed to reach out to us to secure an appointment; we then secured an appointment; they failed to provide the service; we requested a refund, they sent us a check, they stop payment on a check; and everything is my fault. Their excuses and attempts to play the victim are pathetic! Finally, the owner never responded and is an absolute coward who doesn't appear to have any pride of ownership.

They sold me a car with a cracked block. It cost $26,000 to fix it.

A little over a month ago, I left Elmhurst Toyota a one-star review after a frustrating experience…read more I never expected I'd be coming back to write this review, but I'm genuinely grateful that I am. What happened next completely changed my opinion of the dealership and showed me why Elmhurst Toyota has earned such an outstanding reputation. After calling the dealership twice for an out-the-door price on a 2026 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium, I was told someone would call me back. Unfortunately, that never happened, and I was ready to take my business elsewhere. The very next day, I received a call from Joe, one of the sales managers. From our first conversation, it was clear that Joe genuinely wanted to make things right. He took the time to understand what had happened, looked into the situation himself, acknowledged that the dealership had made a mistake, and sincerely apologized. That level of accountability is rare, and it immediately changed my perspective. The RAV4 I wanted simply wasn't available anywhere. The exact model, color, and options I wanted couldn't be found. Rather than asking me to settle for something else, Joe got to work. He stayed persistent and ultimately made it possible for me to order the exact vehicle I wanted, something I honestly didn't think was possible. Over the next month, Joe called or texted me regularly with updates, so I never once had to wonder where things stood. He kept every promise he made and completely transformed what had started as a disappointing experience into one that exceeded every expectation. When Joe called to tell me my RAV4 had arrived, much sooner than I expected, I couldn't wait to pick it up. Melissa from Sales made delivery day unforgettable. Before I even arrived, she sent me videos of my new RAV4, making the excitement feel real long before I walked through the doors. When I got there, my car was waiting with a bow on it. This was my very first brand-new car, and you only get that experience once. Melissa made sure it was every bit as special as I had imagined. She was warm, genuine, and incredibly kind. Within minutes, I felt like I had known her for years. She never pressured me into purchasing anything beyond what fit my needs or budget, and she made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable. Then I met Andrés, Product Specialist "Genius". As a fifth-grade teacher, I appreciate great teaching, and Andrés was exceptional. He patiently walked me through every feature of my RAV4, answered every question without making me feel rushed, and even continued helping me after I brought my car home. His patience and kindness turned what could have been overwhelming into something I genuinely enjoyed. Finally, there was Jack in Finance. If you've ever dreaded the finance office at a dealership, Jack will change your expectations. He was friendly, honest, and refreshingly low pressure. He took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me choose what was right for me, not what would simply cost more. Looking back, what stands out most isn't that Elmhurst Toyota corrected a mistake. It's how they chose to correct it. Every person I worked with shared the same professionalism, kindness, and genuine desire to help. That tells me this isn't about one exceptional employee. It's about a dealership whose culture is built around taking care of its customers. Before shopping for my RAV4, I spent a lot of time researching Toyota dealerships, and Elmhurst Toyota consistently came highly recommended. After this experience, I can honestly say they have earned every bit of that reputation. I live in Naperville, and Elmhurst Toyota is not the closest dealership to my home. That no longer matters. I'll gladly make the drive for every service appointment, and when it's time for my next Toyota, I already know where I'll be going. Thank you, Joe, Melissa, Andrés, and Jack. You didn't just earn a five-star review. You earned my trust, my future business, and my sincere gratitude. Thank you for making my first brand-new car an experience I'll never forget.

I worked with Danny, who was pleasant to deal with, and we had a reasonable negotiation. Sales manager Chris became involved at the final stage and we agreed on the price. Earlier in the process, I had specifically told Danny that I did not want any additional warranties, protection packages, or services added to a six-year-old used vehicle. He acknowledged that. The one extra they would not remove was approximately $500 for wheel locks, which I was told were standard on used vehicles on their lot. Considering wheel locks can be purchased for a fraction of that price, I wasn't thrilled, but I understood the dealership wanted to make some additional margin and accepted it as part of the deal. My mistake was assuming that, after agreeing on the price and declining additional products, the paperwork would reflect what we had agreed to. Even though I was paying cash, I still had to go through the Finance office to complete the transaction. Only after I got home and reviewed the paperwork carefully did I discover that an additional $375 had been added for "windshield protection" -- something I had not requested and had specifically said I did not want. When I returned the next day to pick up the vehicle, I immediately raised this with Danny and Chris. Both acknowledged the issue and, in fact, told me they didn't know what the charge was for and that they would get me a refund. That was four weeks ago. Despite multiple phone calls and follow-ups, I still have not received the promised $375 refund. The disappointing part is that this was completely avoidable. Danny was pleasant to work with, the negotiation was reasonable, and I was happy with the purchase. But adding a $375 product after I had specifically declined additional services, then acknowledging the problem and promising a refund that still hasn't arrived four weeks later, has completely changed my opinion of the dealership. My advice to anyone buying a vehicle here: carefully review every single line of the final paperwork before you sign or pay, regardless of what you believe was agreed with the salesperson or sales manager. Aug 27 As an update the matter was resolved with the dealership and I did receive a refund.

The total cost was $963.83. This price feels very. $699.03 for parts/labor on brake pads/rotors and $199.95 to replace and flush brake fluid. DOT 3, the fluid used for the braking system, is roughly $12 a bottle and filters are $8. I was charged $199.95 for parts/labor. Flushing the brake lines, refilling it and bleeding them is a simple job and has no business being priced like this. Ridiculous. Brake pads and rotors. Charged $128.60 PER DISK. OEM on Hondas website is $88.58. So that's about a 30% markup. You get the picture. I am being overcharged. Unfortunately, the labor price seems consistent with normal dealership chicanery, albeit still too expensive for the service. A full brake pad and rotor service would make this current labor price make sense; however, it was only the rear of the car. Labor is $230/hr. I would not recommend going here due to pricing. I would like to see at least a third of the cost refunded.

They advertised a Honda CERTIFIED odyssey, but upon test driving it there was an audible mechanical issue with the brakes (on this so-called certified vehicle) and the car had not been detailed. They agreed to replace the brakes and rotors, so I came back the next day hoping to purchase. They rushed it out of service when I arrived but when I test drove again it now needed an alignment. They agreed to complete the alignment but said they don't do detailing in house, so I just asked that someone wipe away the crayon and spills from the third row. The sales guy assured me this could be done, so we proceeded with the sale. When I finally received the car, no one had even looked in the third row, so I had to clean that out myself, I didn't have time to argue with them because I was already late to pick up my kids from camp. NEGLIGENT Lies: During the sale, the salesman explained the certified car to come with an extended warranty with the drive train covered until 2030 and a bumper to bumper for 2 years. He refused to provide any documentation, saying Finance would give that to me. Finance says no, that's sales. Days later I call Honda Corporate, because I'm not even sure if there really IS a warranty, and they tell me yes, there is but it's the opposite as was explained to me. Only 2 more years on the drivetrain, not the 4 I was sold on. NIGHTMARE and DISRESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION: Within 24 hours of driving it off the lot, I used the defrost briefly and the windshield developed 2 cracks. I reached out to my sales guy and he said "bring it in and we'll take a look at it and resolve it if it's a problem" I asked for more assurances before I drove an hour out there, but he ghosted the rest of my messages. They took my car on a Friday morning, I waited in suburbs all day to hear if I could pick it up, but their phone system is Kafkaesque and it's impossible to reach the service dept. Saturday went by with NO information. When I finally reached someone in service on Saturday afternoon they said they weren't working on the car, it had to be handled by sales. I finally got a sales manager on the phone, and he said maybe it would be done on Monday or may not until Wednesday. I asked for an update on Monday and he was belligerent saying that would be a waste of his time to call and give me an update if it wasn't done. On Monday it was finished, no call from the manager, just a text from service. I reached out to my salesman asking them to bring the car to me and swap the loaner. He happily agreed, and then ghosted me for another 24 hours. When I finally got him to respond again, he didn't seem to know which car we were talking about. On Wednesday someone finally brought the car to me with no notice, so I wasn't home when they arrived. They replaced the windshield, but the car was returned to me with another piece of the passenger window shaking loose. I sent a message with photos asking for a manager to call me about this, and now it's the next day and I'm still waiting for a call. This is the most money I've ever spent on a car, I'm a busy mom of 3, during the summmer! And we are a one car family. This experience has been a NIGHTMARE that won't end.

After a ton of research, I made a decision to purchase an electric vehicle, but also needed something large enough to carry any combination of four grandchildren and/or two dogs and family and friends. After doing my homework, I am so happy that I chose to purchase an EV9 from Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. I decided on the Kia EV9 because of its safety rating, size, and electric design. I went on a quest to locate one close by in Chicago where I live. I went to a Chicago dealership, but they didn't have any in stock and the salesperson was not very knowledgeable about EVs in general. After a long hunt, I found the vehicle and trim I was looking for at Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. I researched the VIN number to learn where it was made (in the US!) and called to set up a time to see it the next morning. My salesperson, Drinor Haziri, was outstanding. He took me for a test drive and immediately showed he was not only very knowledgeable about this particular vehicle, but about EV cars in general. He offered a comparison of other options, including the Acura ZDX, also available at their dealership. In the end, it was the size, strong ride and mileage capacity in the EV9 that sold me. Drinor never pressured me, but offered the sales approach that served me best. The next step in the process (which is usually the most painful) was the finance office. My sales manager, Marius, was phenomenal. Again, very knowledgeable, but most important he was very transparent in the process. He had a clear picture of my financial situation and personal considerations and helped me make a sound decision. When I showed him a comparable price at a dealership 100 miles away, he matched it. Financing was quick and painless. I also appreciated how easy it was to reach him, even after the sale. I think Marius may have moved to a different dealership, but even now, when I had a question, I was able to reach a different finance manager at Napleton, Kissy, and she helped me immediately. But the highlight of my experience, the icing on the cake, was working with Martin. He is their 'closer', making sure each new owner is knowledgeable and prepared about the workings of their car before they leave. I have never owned an electric car and he taught me about charging and adaptive driving/breaking and all of the systems in my new EV9. I have returned twice on my own to meet with him to continue learning about various components of the car. Having him part of my purchase process made all the difference in my satisfaction going forward. This man is a hidden gem!! I have owned my EV9 (now named "Zeus") for nearly a year. I absolutely love this car and the way it drives, and have not had a single issue with it. If I do, I feel confident Kia Napleton will make it right. If you are looking for a new car, Kia Napleton should be your first and last stop.
