I love the doctors hate the front desk staff. This review is for the staff and I hope Glendale Peds works on improving their staff because they've been rude and not even attempt to be accommodating or act empathetic to situations. I clearly remember scheduling an appointment with my normal pediatrician for my daughter only to get a text that it's with a different doctor. When they called to confirm and asked about why it was with another doctor they stated I was told this because our regular doctor wasn't available until October - for the record I was not told that because otherwise I would have scheduled with another female pediatrician. I tried to see if I could schedule with anyone else to which they told me no other female doctor was available until mid September. At this point I am already upset and unhappy, to the point the point I have no choice but to accept to which she just confirmed and hung up. I get you're a doctors office but even some form of empathy or ownership of miscommunication on their end too would have been appreciative but it was just like a cold call. I hate that I put up with it because I love our doctors. read more

We have been with Glendale Pediatrics since 2011. Back then, it was a low key office with a smaller group of physicians that knew all their patients by name. Sadly, today the practice lost it's personal touch and runs more like a factory. It's hard to get a real person on the phone and frustrating when you wait in the patient room for an hour plus, wondering if the doctor will ever show up. Glendale pediatrics is the very best pediatric office! My son has had a number of medical challenges - unfailingly the doctors and nurses have been fantastic in helping us through every issue. They are incredibly caring, will spend as much time we need answering our questions, explaining treatments and developmental topics at every wellness check or sick appointment. Dr. Henry is our primary - he is an incredible doctor and I feel much more confident as a parent with his guidance. We have also seen most of the other doctors in the practice for urgent appointments and they are all excellent. They have very knowledgeable and kind nurses that are available by phone during office hours to answer any questions we have - such a great resource. When our child is sick or injured, the nurses always call a day or so after we have visited or spoken with an on call doc to see how they are recovering. Incredible service - I wish my doctors cared enough to check up on me when I'm unwell! Having Glendale Pediatrics in the Children's Hospital network is a great benefit for continuity of care between them and ER or specialist visits. I cannot say enough good things about the practice, and can't wait to have our second child under their care. I know many families have been with them for decades, that's how we first heard about them, and I'm sure we will be one of those families! We have had such a positive experience here and love Dr Fabris. She always takes time to discuss our concerns without making us feel rushed. Dr. Henry was my son's pediatrician. He'd order a wrong shot. It is okay for them to canceled our 15 month check up because he was sick, but they didn't try to make up a date for us, his next available appointment will be the date my son turned 16 month. He was a nice doctor to me and my son. after those things happened, I'm pretty unhappy for dr Henry and his staffs, especially the way they talked in the phone. read more

While we love Dr Henry, the office staff is horrendous! Georgina refused to let us speak to a physician or anyone who actually has any medical knowledge. (my husband and I are both physicians and we wanted to have an intelligent exchange physician to physician). Instead she just fed us some line that they were forwarding everyone to an urgent care. Please take your time to read my review about this place... It may save your child's life... This place has changed so much since they moved from there old location. I have 3 kids and we have been bringing my kids here for the past 8 years. We have trusted this clinic and we have believed the owner doctor since the beginning, however lately the past few years we kept on getting "fill" in doctors. Which was okay with us because we have healthy kids and we where just going for annual checkups. My oldest son developed fever and it was not going away, we took him to Glendale pediatrics and yet again we say the "fill in doctor" which is always a different doctor never the same. She looked at my child and said he has a fever go home and call us if it does not change in 5-7 days. She seamed untrustworthy and we felt unease with her diagnosis so we took our child in with Dr. Melidonian on the same day for a second opinion. After a 2.5 hour exam by Dr. Melidonian himself he said do not waist any time and take him to children's hospital your child has meningitis. Thank goodness we came to children's hospital and he is being treated for meningitis as I write this note. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR CREDITCARD INFO TO CHARGE YOU BEFORE UR CHILD IS BEING SEEN. GO TO DR. MELIDONIAN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. My child could of had a neurological damage for life if we had listened to this "Fill" in doctor which I don't want to name. I hope Dr. Richard Feuille is able to read this review and to address this issue with his associate "fill" in doctors to help save your child's life. read more

Our daughter is 17 and has been a patient since birth. We began with Dr. Feuille (male) when our child was a newborn and transitioned to Dr. Fabris (female) at puberty. We have never had a negative experience and I dont understand the negative reviews. Dr. Feuille saved our daughter's life at 4 mos. old when we had a SIDs-like episode at 2:00 am. We talked to the exchange and they woke up Dr. Feuille who called us back within 5 minutes and told us what to do. You can't get any more accessible than that. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and diagnosed a few things that many other pediatricians would have missed. On top of that, we never felt rushed and found him very proactive in educating us about what to expect at various stages of development. Incidentally, we delayed a vaccine or two and he was fine with our rationale and never pressured us to do something we weren't ready to do. At adolescence we transitioned to Dr. Fabris because our daughter felt more comfortable with a female doctor. What a gem! Just what we needed at this stage in our daughter's life. She is also highly competent and a good listener. Very empathetic and pragmatic in her approach. My daughter just loves her. Also, we delayed the HPV vaccine a few years and she was fine with that, too. No pressure. We have also had occasion to be treated by other Glendale Peds doctors when Feuille or Fabris weren't available and have never been disappointed. They all practice from the same general philosophy, so there is a lot of consistency when your child needs to be treated by another doctor. Generally, I find the practice conservative and not trigger-happy when it comes to prescription meds. They tend to try other more natural approaches first, which matches our philosophy. Other random observations...The triage nurses are wonderful and get back to you right away. Sometimes, their advice saves us an appointment and there isnso charge for their service. Also, we've never waited more than about 15 minutes for an appointment. We usually get in witihin 5-10 minutes of our arrival. (Funny how a lot of people who complain about wait times are late themselves and get ticked off when they miss their appointment time and have to wait.) Bottom line: your child would be in great hands if you choose any of these doctors. We have been really impressed with the quality of care and so grateful for their service. It's about building a partnership with the doctors and having very clear communication with them. I am a health care consumer consultant and know good medical care when I experience it. I am amazed at the number of people who base their medical decisions on things like parking and billing practices. It's about the quality of care and accessibility--not these other things. BTW, these people are running a BUSINESS and need to be paid. If they want to keep my credit card on file, so be it. They had to put this procedure in place because people don't want to pay (or delay paying) the amount they are responsible for after insurance pays. For what it's worth, I have never had a problem with a compromised credit card and/or a security breach with medical records, so I find them trustworthy with this information. This is primarily a review about the staff and the physical office - not the majority of the doctors at Glendale Pediatrics. My wife and I arrived for our daughter's first doctor visit approximately a week after she was born. On the way there, our daughter had a "poopsplosion". We entered the office and asked for a changing room. We were told, in a rather snappish manner, that they did not have a changing room and that we could use the floor there in the waiting room. I was more than taken aback by this attitude. I then asked if there was a bathroom we could change her in. The same woman said "just go out in the hallway - you'll find it.". So we went out into the building and found the women's room. There was no changing table so I went back into the office and asked again if there was a room we could just use to change her - explaining that our daughter was barely a week old and needed a change. A different woman said "all of the rooms are being used. Just use the floor". At this point I was getting angry. This is a pediatric's office and they don't have a place to allow parents to change a baby?!? We finally opted to go back to the woman's room and change her. After being treated like that, we never returned. Go at your own risk. My wife briefly dealt with Jennifer A. Hartstein at the hospital and she very nice and helpful. This review in no way should be seen as a review against her. It is the rude and extremely unhelpful staff that this review is about. Btw - this occurred in the beginning of June, 2010 and it is now October 2010. The memory of what happened to us there is still fresh in our minds and we have gone out of our way to tell friends not to go there. We have been going to another doctor and are very happy with our choice not to go back to Glendale Pediatrics. read more

Both my kids have been GP patients with my oldest being 12 now. My youngest is 7 and has asthma. Dr. Hartstein is a great Doctor and because of her I have put up with as much disappointment as I can. My son wasn't feeling well so I called to see if I can see any Dr. that is available. The lady on the phone tells me "I'm sorry there's no Dr. available to see him". There are 8 Doctors in that office and no one is available. What's the point of calling it emergency. She tells me "I'm sorry take him to urgent care". Wow I just felt so helpless. They won't schedule an appointment for the next day, you have to call the day of to get an appointment and when you do they tell you I'M SORRY WE HAVE NO ONE AVAILABLE. All I can say is I guess it's time for me to move on and find a new pediatrics. read more

Attempting to setup my child as a patient post relocation to the area and was essentially routed to various voicemails. When I finally spoke to a front desk receptionist they expressed that they couldn't set him up for an established care patient visit but that if he " happens to get sick one day to call in at 8:45am and then possibly we could get an appointment to be patients" Very misleading process given they advertise that they are accepting new patients but scheduling a well check is not part of their process. Have never been told to wait until my child becomes sick to maybe become a patient. At that point you would want to have established care to rely on. I'll be looking elsewhere. read more

I took my son to Glendale Pediatrics when he was born. It's a decent medical group if you don't mind seeing random doctors when you need a last minute appointment. Most of the doctors are fine, but try to avoid Dr. Iyer at all cost. She seems to love the kids she sees, but the way she treats the parents is a whole other story. Dr. Iyer is one of those doctors who absolutely does not care about anyone's personal situation or views. She's all about what she's memorized in textbooks, and simply regurgitates what she's learned a million years ago or anything she reads on a chart. She's arrogantly closed off to any alternative opinions and offers no compassion whatsoever. She loves fattened up formula babies and adores pushing vaccines. If you dare have a different opinion, she very skilled in subtly making you feel like the most neglectful parent on the planet. Her other expertise is to point out things that are wrong with your child ("Did you know that he's sniffling?"), then not immediately offer any solutions, She simply stares at you in complete judgment and only smirks at your answer before cutting you off I'm sure she has the kids' best interest in mind, but she's very judgmental and disrespectful to the parents. Don't bother to go in if she is the only available physical (which she usually is because the other doctors are clearly more popular). Personally, we won't be going back at all to this group because of Dr. Iyer. read more

Dr. Henry is the best! Our daughter is terrified of doctors, but Dr. Henry always calms her down and explains everything to her so she isn't scared of any tests. He is just as attentive to parents as their children. We love him. read more

When my wife was pregnant we researched pediatricians in our area, and Glendale Pediatrics got top marks from most everyone we asked. People spoke highly of its doctors and its parent-friendly policies, which include same-day appointments for ill children. I can't really comment knowledgeably on the treatment side of the practice, because we had only one visit there. This review is mostly directed at the administration. Despite being assured by the GP staff over the telephone that my insurance plan was accepted, and after having put our new baby on my insurance plan based on that advice, we discovered upon arriving for our first visit that my plan was in fact not one they took (they accept only certain group plans from this insurer). The staff apologized for the inconvenience, but refused to make any adjustment to the out-of-pocket cost of the visit. The office manager insisted that it was the patient's responsibility to confirm with the insurance company that the patient's plan is accepted, which I then pointed out should have been the staff's original response on the telephone when I inquired. She wouldn't budge, so now I have a $200 bill from Glendale Pediatrics and, after the additional hassle of researching and confirming new practices that do take our plan, a new doctor for my baby. So, bad advice over the phone combined with no meaningful accommodation when I discussed this mistake with the office manager has spurred me to write my first-ever internet review of a business -- and one that is purportedly terrific in most respects. I hope this review is read by doctors and staff at the practice and leads to some re-training of the people who answer the phones. I don't think we were wrong to act on the advice of the staff when we made our original inquiry, and the fact that they wouldn't make an adjustment to the bill based upon this error is, in my opinion, very poor service. read more

I am amazed at the fact that I am able to reach a real doctor, at any given hour. This past month we had somewhat of an emergency late at night, and Dr. Fan returned my call almost immediately. She was awesome! She thoroughly explained the situation to me and helped calm me down to realize I wasn't actually in an emergency situation. A+ for amazing bedside manner. read more

The doctors are amazing, however a worker by the name of Angel/Andrew from their billing department is by far one of the most rude and condescending people I've ever spoken to. 1 thing is addressing people for something they have legitimately avoided and not wanted to pay. Another is not being able to provide sufficient evidence when an item is being disputed. Unfortunate for Angel/Andrew he does not realize some of the parents who have gone to Glendale Pediatrics have experience and connections in his work field. Lesson 1 never threaten any person cooperating with you with "collections" You're working with 2 sensitive topics, the children and their health. Watch your tone, in the future. read more

I'm giving it a 2 because I love Dr. Hartstein. who knows the last time we saw her though. So many issues I'll just start...First off, I have to fill out paperwork for all kids every time I go. They say it's the annual paperwork but within one year I've done it 3 times. I find myself writing my 3 kids' names, dob about 45 times..not really necessary. I've gotten EOB's for visits that were re-billed from over a year ago - this has happened several times. Last year, I made an appointment 4 months in advance for Dr. Hartstein and they cancelled it 5 days before. The next available date was in another 3 months! I complained and they accomodated me but I really hate complaining to get my way. Recently I made an appointment for my baby's vaccines and when I went in they didn't have my appointment on file yet I had a card. So, they said I could see another dr. in maybe 2 hours. I saw her and the fact I see a different doctor every time, there is no relationship. She couldn't figure out my baby's height and weight. She couldn't figure out the chart. So frustrating. I'm very sad to leave Dr. Hartstein, but since she's never available and I'd rather go somewhere when I can have a dr/patient relationship. read more

I would give this Pediatrics group a better rating but you can't seem to EVER get them on the phone to ask them a question or God forbid make an appointment. The staff is great and the doctors are amazing but they need to fix their communication with parents and patients because it is not okay to be on the line for almost 45 minutes just to get vaccination records. It's a good thing that they tell you to call 911 or give you the number to poison control cause if they didn't you would have a very big problem. read more

We every doctor we've seen here and hanger had any negative experiences with them in 6 years. I have a two kids and can always get in or get a call back when I need. Granted my kids don't have any major health issues aside from dairy intolerance. Every doctor has her/his own style. Hartstein is soft hearted and gentle. Bursch is friendly and straight forward. Fueile is old school and has strong opinions which I don't mind--- our friend who is a teaching doc says he's the best. read more

During the course of these past two years we have been privileged to meet more than a few of your staff as we now have been blessed with our second daughter in January of 2019. You have helped us navigate these challenging times along the way, and for that, we are forever grateful. In today's times, it happens far too often that we as consumers are hyper-focused on those aspects of a product or service that are sub-standard. This is not that letter! My wife and I enjoyed all of your staff, as a whole. But we would be doing an injustice to a member of your team if we did not recognize the exceptional care provided by Dr. Jin Heur. She exemplified a level of compassion and dedication to us as her patients that made us feel like we were family. She made every effort to understand and sympathize with our daughters and with us as new parents. My daughter is now 4 months old and I've been coming to Glendale Pediatrics since her birth. The doctor who first saw her was DR. Feuille. He was a bit to rude for my taste at the hospital ESPECIALLY TO the nurses there so I chose Dr. Fabris. She is amazing. I like her a lot and she is very caring and attentive. I GIVE HER 5 STARS, HOWEVER, THE STAFF AT GP IS COMPLETELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, EXCEPT FOR A FEW OF THEM. THE GIRLS WHO PICK UP THE PHONE there have messed up on my appointments 2x already and when I show up they look at me like deer in headlights and say I don't have an appt. I have PHONE LOGS clearly showing I called, even when it was a doctors ORDER for me to come in and be seen. My daughter was supposed to be tested for Pertussis... which is a serious thing and they wanted me to come back at 5 pm. or tomorrow... ARE YOU KIDDING ME????They drop the ball saving the appointment times and do nothing to accommodate their mistake! Lala is the nicest one of them all. The nurses are nice too. The rest of them need some training in customer service. It's not rocket science to do your jobs and hit the save button when scheduling someone. To top it off, I GET ATTITUDE FOR THEIR MISTAKE. NOT ONE PERSON LISTENING TO MY COMPLAINT TRIED TO ACCOMMODATE ME FOR THEIR MISTAKE AND NO ONE STEPPED IN TO SAY, LET ME SEE WHAT WE CAN DO FOR DROPPING THE BALL. I'M FUMING! They want to charge you when you don't give them 24 hours notice when cancelled.. WHAT DO THE PATIENTS GET WHEN YOU MESS UP AND DON'T SAVE THEIR APPOINTMENTS???!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE. This really is as good as it gets when it comes to a pediatric group. I was working at Adventist when I was pregnant and inquired about who would be the best pediatrician, everyone I asked referred me to Glendale Pediatrics (including other doctors). We have been with GP since my son was born in 2004 and I could not imagine him going anywhere else. As a new mom at the time, everything was scary to me but Dr. Henry (like the other doctors in the office) took his time in explaining and answering all my questions. I cant tell you how comforting it is when a doctor comes into the office and SITS down! Usually they make and appearance sign a prescription form and you are on your way. Not here. When you first walk in there are two separate waiting rooms, one for the well child and one for the sick child. The waiting areas are never over crowded and you are seen promptly. I dont think I have ever had to wait longer than 15 minutes in the waiting area. Their staff are amazing. They take great care and concern for their patients. If you call and the nurse is busy they take your number and always return calls quickly. The doctors are quite conservative when it comes to giving medication and that is one of the things I appreciate most. They dont rush to medicate your child, however they do everything they can to make sure your child is comfortable. The office is always clean and well maintained. A huge bonus is that they are open on Saturdays for emergencies. They have plenty of parking and they validate and it's usually no more than a $1. read more

My son is now 6 and Dr. Heartstein has been his doctor the entire time. I had originally planned to use a different pediatrics practice based on a friend's recommendation, however when I called that particular practice to schedule my son's 1st appointment after leaving the hospital, they said we'd have to wait a week! In the meantime, Glendale Peds actually called me to schedule an appointment with Dr. Heartstein, which I gladly accepted and have never had a second thought. Over the years we've seen all of the doctors in the practice, and its true, some are better than others. Or, perhaps you could say, some are a better fit with us than others. We've never been treated rudely or received bad medical advice or treatment by anyone on the medical or clerical staff at this practice. Our favorite Dr's in terms of personality are Dr. Heartstein and Dr. Henry. I am seeing complaints in other reviews regarding the office staff and advice nurses. I personally have not had any problems with the staff, and we've never been billed for any service we didn't receive. There has been some turnover in the office in the past couple years, and some of the new staff members are not as friendly as previous ones. I've been on the phone with the advice nurses more times than I can count, and they've always been professional and compassionate. The office moved to a new suite (much nicer than the old one) but now parking is more expensive. And its true that wait times, both in the waiting area and in the exam room can be lengthy. The practice is busy, and to make matters worse, they are obligated to accommodate same-day appointments for really sick children. But when its our turn with the Doctor, its always a positive experience. My son actually likes to go to the doctors office - how many kids can you say that about? This is a very good practice and I think you'll be hard pressed to find better. read more

If i could only give them more than the max allowed stars. We were recommended to GP by my wife's OB. Our daughter was born last Nov and so far absolutely no complaints with Glendale Pediatrics. 1. They visited our daughter 1hr after birth for her checkup. Every single day that we were in the hospital, they had someone there at 7am checking in on her progress and they treated us like family. 2. The office staff and all the doctors are just simply amazing. The office is set up with two rooms (reg visits / check ups) & (sick kids). Love that option not to have sick kids mingling with the other waiting children. 3. They have a doctor on call at night 24/7. We've called more than a few times when our daughter was really sick. The automated service gives you the option to have them call back within the hour if its an emergency. 4. They are open on Sat for appointments only. Also, getting an appointment during the week if your child is sick is no problem. Having a nurse call back when you have a concern or a question is a big bonus. 5. They do not push meds on your kids just for the hell of it. 6. Parking is easy and it'll set you back i think $2. We love all the different doctor's our daughter has seen over the last year, but we fell in love with Dr. Iyer. She takes care of our daughter like she was one of her kids. She remembered her name after the 1st visit. She is caring, compassionate, explains everything without the im the doctor attitude, and takes the time to answer all your questions. We are truly happy with Glendale Pediatrics. read more

A great practice, with caring, attentive doctors and nurses. Also, a great, shiny new office with great exam rooms. Both of our daughters have been going to Glendale Pediatrics since birth, and we've always been very satisfied with the care that they've gotten there. Regular appointments have gone well, and they've been flexible enough to accommodate late minute appointments for sudden illnesses, etc. Our regular and preferred doc is Dr. Nicole Fabris-Carral. She has a gentle, friendly demeanor that our kids seem to really respond well to (as do we). We've also seen Dr. Henry a few times..he has a very fun, energetic bedside manner that we also really like...he's also very calming in the sense that when you're worried about something, he acknowledges that its understandable that you should be worried---but then brings on the reassurance that all is or will be well. Both of these docs spend plenty of time with us, answer questions, listen, and never make us feel rushed. Another plus of this practice is the nurses. They've helped us on the phone many a time. During a bad episode when we were at the Huntington Memorial ER and having trouble getting help for our feverish 8 day old, they called the charge nurse and made sure we were attended to. It seems like some of the negative reviews here have to do with the business end of the practice. For our part, we've never had any issues at all with charges or billing. It sounds like maybe they ding you if they don't pay your co-pay, but we wouldn't know because we've never tried to skip out without paying our co-pay (seriously, people..it IS a business. You do need to be charged for all the care provided..we're not in Sweden). Also, the old office was a little run down, but the new space is totally brand new, clean and colorful. My daughter LOVES the fish tank and the wall murals. So if you had reservations based on some of the reviews that said the office facility wasn't up to snuff, this has changed. The only reason they don't get 5-Stars is that the wait time can sometimes be long. I don't think we've ever gotten in sooner than 15 minutes after our appointment time. We love Dr. Feuille. The group as a whole is excellent too (we've had Drs. Bursh, Iyer, and Fan see our newborn). The office calls with reminders and the nurse returns phone calls with our questions fairly quickly (within a few hours at worse). Dr. Feuille is thorough and answers all of our questions and even supports his answers with citing medical journals. He's pretty updated with the baby products out on the market too and gives his opinion on them. Parking is a challenge, but we have mangaged. read more

This review is solely for the billing staff/Office Staff.. What ever your are.. Not really sure....... I was not aware that every time you do not pay the copay at the office you are charged a $20 fee. Ok, well I would pay my copay IF when I check out you did not say, "Okay, you are all set, you can go.." So I am suppose to from now on say. "NO Wait!!!!!!! Let me PLEASE pay my copay that you Forgot to mention, so you dont charge me $20 because you are trying to squeeze MORE money out of me." (I know longggg sentence, sorry) You know I even think in my head before leaving, hmm I think I might have a copay... BUT Stupid me just thought they would send me the bill, like some places. NOPE they just let you go on your marry way and charge you a fee. So just be aware that this May happen to you, if you are dumb like me.... Sorry if I am trying to control two children who are bored out of their mind from waiting and waiting and waiting in a boring office and I don't have my head on straight. And ALL I WANT TO DO IS LEAVE... So saying, "You are all set." Is music to my ears and I flee like a bat out of hell, but end up hurting my wallet in the process. So Believe ME, next time they DO say this I will say, NO Wait a minute, I have a flipping copay you FORGOT to mention for the muliple time, you are not fooling me this time!!!!!! By the way, I did not know about this fee, but I called their outsourced billing dept. And they told me about it. I am not sure if they have any notice of this fee posted at their office. They do say that copays are due at time of service, so it is kind of funny THEY DONT ASK FOR IT!!!!! I may end up looking for a different Ped, because I am sick of this. So kinda a funny that they know to charge me for a copay I did not pay, but they did not tell me to pay it.... read more

Plenty of good reviews here. I think they are a perfect example of a medical office/practice. I wish my own GP had it together like they do. Benefits 1) Team care - your kid has a primary doc, but in a pinch other docs can do the job 2) A very experience doc (Dr Feuille) - who has seen it all and tells you things with no BS 3) Younger docs (with young kids of their own) - who tend to educate you and provide options, instead of just telling you what to do 4) efficient office 5) great referral network We have three kids, and we been there plenty! The only downside is a recent nurse who doesn't seem to have it all together - but hopefully that will improve or change. All in all - highly recommended - Dr Henry, Dr Bursch, and Dr. Feuille are our favorites. read more

Overall, I am very pleased with this Pediatric Group. The staff are accommodating to last minute appointments and the nurses return your call when requested. Out of all the pediatricians, I love Dr. Henry, Dr. Harstein and Dr. Bursch. Dr. Feuille is ok with not much personality and Dr. Iyer can be a little pushy with the CDC vaccine schedule. Dr. Fan is pleasant but normally in a hurry. Dr. Fabris-Carral is the worst of the bunch especially if your child is an "outlier" to growth charts. At six months old, Dr. Fabris-Carral stated my son would have a lifetime of obesity issues because he was "too large" for his age in both height and weight (this is before he started crawling!). At almost four, he is very tall and his weight is appropriate for his height. I'm not sure what would prompt a professional to make such unempirical judgments at a six month visit and talk down to parents in a demeaning manner, other than to stroke their own ego and/or have major issues with fat hate. I understand childhood obesity is the Health-Cause-du-Jour, but a fat baby does not equal a lifetime of medical interventions associated with severe morbid obesity. Making those kind of blanket statements signals an inner bias that is best avoided. So by all means take your children to this practice, just avoid Dr. F-C! read more

A doctor is always on call and gives a call back within 10 minutes. We try to see Dr. Bursch whenever we can, he's aways thorough and patient with the kids and answers all my questions. I feel like he is very respectful of the children and explains to them what he's doing to their body. This makes them very calm and feel heard, unlike some doctors that just poke and prod them and just talk to me (like the kids are invisible). read more

Dr's are great, but I'm thinking of going elsewhere after 8 years due to their underhanded billing practices. My favorite (favorite - seeing as this has happened more than once..which is sad really) is that we went to an appointment there a couple months ago, saw the dr and paid the co-pays. Everything went through insurance and was fine and paid. So imagine my surprise when I get a bill $60.00 for a no show appointment for that same day?!!. Which is funny, because I have the receipt showing my co-pay on the date that I was supposed to be a no-show. Second time this has happened. read more

SO ANNOYING! What can I say... The doctors are legit but their billing team does not know what the f*** they are doing! I was seen by three separate doctors from the office in the hospital after giving birth after emerging me see admittance and these bastards keep sending me bills for over 1 year. trying to have me pay their doctors when they know very well that they are supposed to by LAW Bill my insurance because I saw these doctors through a hospital. The hospital sent them in to see me after giving birth. I never requested them. and even still my insurance has told me that they will pay the bill if they simply received one from this office but they refuse to do their work. why won't they do their job?? Why are they hounding me for money when I have insurance!? One year later and it continues. Why am I getting collection letters after several request for them to just do what they need to do and Bill my insurance. Incompetent and lazy billing team. FML. read more

***** This practice of Pediatric Doctors is professional, thorough, caring, compassionate and amazingly informative. The Doctors are all very expirienced and have a wealth of knowledge in various areas of pediatrics, with that said if at anytime my childrens symtoms or condition were complexed they immediatly refered us to a specialist. I have been taking my children to this practice for over 12 years. I am not a fly bye night parent. I am a parent of two children and I have called and visited this office numerous times a month over the span of 12+ years. If you have been with this practice as long as I have you know that the staff is invested in the care of there patients. The nurses are on call daily for us parents. I have never been forgotten. I have never been treated rudely. They have neen consistantly suppotive and accomadating from day one. This is a happy office staff. Most of the office staff and doctors have been there for years. In my 12+ years of visiting countless doctors,specialist,hospitals, I will tell you that you will never find a more proffessionaly run practice. Every single doctor is phenomenal. My oldest has a very complexed medical history and I have intrusted each and everyone of those doctors with her throughout her life. They have all impressed me. This is a very clean, brand new state of the art practice. When I read the comments regarding billing and late or cancelation bills it makes me question not the practice but the people making these complaints public. Not one of us is perfect. There may be billing errors, delayed calls even a long wait at times but nothing out of what could happen anywhere. Everytime I walk in to Glendale Pediatrics the signs are posted for late fees and late cancelations, this incudes copays and school forms. Its nosecret. It is our responsibility to to make sure we read and understand thier rules. Billing offsite may have its issues but again it is our responsibility as a consumer to check out statments and catch these errors. It happens. The staff is not being mean they are doing there job. If they are wrong they will and have made apologies and corrections as deemed necessary. This is a wonderful practice and if you truly want the best of pediatricians this is the best there is! I promise you that you will not be disapointed with the care you will recieve from these pediatricians. read more

I cannot rave enough about Glendale Pediatrics. I started at this practices in 1987 when my oldest daughter was born. Dr. Feiulle, was there back then and is just as competent, caring and amazing pediatrician now as he was then. I have three younger boys and through the years we have met and been treated by others on their staff--all wonderful! Dr. Henry, in particular, is adored by all of us. A brilliant physician that is empathic and can diagnose very efficiently, above all, he is the most loving and genuinely caring doctor I have ever met! In 2009 we moved over an hour away from this office. But I refuse to go to any other pediatrician. I make the drive back to Glendale Pediatrics for all of my boys. The staff is also very caring and everyone remembers our names and is so loving. Glendale Pediatrics is just the best!!! read more

Doctor Bursch is great but on our first day there we filled out our paper work...Upon return for our sons 1 week checkup they LOST our paperwork but conveniently had our credit card on file...our personal information is floating around in space and they cant account for its location...they say its not out in space but if you dont know where it is then you cant really say where it is...its NOT ok to lose a clients personal information...Also our first visit one of their part time doctors forgot to discuss out boys jaundice issues.. we had to GO BACK to talk to Dr. Bursch..he tried to give and excuse for her but I didnt buy it...we walked out of the doctors office the first time unsure of our boys condition...this is NOT ok...Dr. Bursch is really nice but his office has MAJOR flaws... read more
