Most importantly, they are very patient and gentle with each pet. My dog is quite finicky and anxious and they have always taken the time and care to make sure he stays safe and calm, I even once heard them singing to him to reassure him during a nail clipping, I recommend them to all my friends and will never take my dog elsewhere. George is also so friendly and has taken the time on multiple occasions to recommend products to me (which were all great recs), always explains exactly what they can do and what my dog needs, and is just generally a really guy. He clearly cares about each animal and wants them to have the best experience possible. I trust George and his team with my dog completely and that peace of mind means the world to me! From the moment you walk in, George makes you feel like more than just a customer--he remembers your face, greets you like an old friend, and treats you like family. His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine compassion are just as impressive as his incredible knowledge and expertise with animals. I recently brought in my oldest cat, whose fur had become severely matted. Rather than rushing through the appointment, George and his team took extra time and exceptional care to make sure she was as comfortable and stress-free as possible. They patiently shaved and carefully worked through the mats, and I could tell my cat's well-being was their top priority every step of the way. What meant the most to me was George's compassion during a difficult time in my life. He was incredibly understanding of my financial hardships and worked with me so I could still get my cat the care she desperately needed. That level of kindness and empathy is something you don't come across every day, and I'll never forget it. I trust George and his team completely with my pets, and that peace of mind is priceless. Whether you're looking for grooming, boarding, or daycare, I wholeheartedly recommend Andy's Pet Grooming. It's a wonderful family-owned business that truly cares about both the animals and the people who love them. Thank you, George and the entire team, for always treating my cats with such love and care. You've earned a customer for life. See you again in a couple months!

Simba absolutely adores all of the employees, and it's clear they love him just as much. They treat him like he's one of their own, and that means the world to me. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and organized. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs. I always feel completely comfortable leaving Simba there because I know he's safe, happy, and having the best time. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Simba. I originally intended to leave a positive review, especially after being offered a discount…read moreincentive to do so before even seeing my dogs. However, after picking them up and fully evaluating their condition, I feel obligated to leave an honest account of my experience. My dogs were boarded here for 21 days, and I paid $3,340.29 with the expectation that they would be properly cared for. When I saw them at pickup, I was immediately alarmed by how thin they appeared. At first I questioned whether I was overreacting, so I weighed them once we got home. Based on their recorded weights, they lost approximately 18% of their body weight during their stay. The more I look at them and evaluate their condition, the more upset and disturbed this makes me. In addition to the severe weight loss, both dogs also had fresh cuts and scars that appeared consistent with having been in fights or altercations while boarded. This was never communicated to me during their stay, and seeing visible injuries on top of their physical condition was extremely upsetting. I documented their condition with video and reviewed everything more carefully afterward. Two days before pickup, I received an email stating they "seemed a bit hungry after eating their food." I had provided very specific feeding instructions, including a digital scale to measure 200 grams of food per feeding, twice daily. When I checked the scale afterward, I noticed the units had been changed from grams, and I also became concerned they may have been weighing the food incorrectly by including the bowl weight. What upsets me most is that their veterinary records clearly documented their healthy weight immediately before boarding. The condition they were returned in was not acceptable and should never have happened under professional supervision. I do not believe this was intentional cruelty, but I do believe there was serious negligence and incompetence in their care. The email sent shortly before pickup now feels more like an attempt to establish concern in advance rather than address the issue appropriately. I trusted this facility with my dogs' health and wellbeing, and I will never trust them with their care again.

When I got him back, his stomach and paws were covered in dried up urine and was clearly not acting like himself. Over the next two days, he had rectal bleeding that continued for two days, refused to eat for three days, and was severely dehydrated. I immediately contacted Ruff Resort to let them know what was happening with my dog, but I never received a response. I ended up taking him to the veterinarian, where he underwent multiple examinations. Between the exams and treatment, I spent over $700 trying to determine what was wrong. The vet did confirm he was severely dehydrated. A two day boarding ultimately cost me $1000. After not hearing back, I called the facility today to ask if they were open because I wanted to speak with someone in person. They told me they had tried to text me. They claimed the first message bounced back but that a second message went through. However, I never received any text on my phone. More importantly, if a customer contacts you to report that their dog became seriously ill after staying at your facility, the appropriate response is to pick up the phone and call them--not rely on text messages, especially if you already know one message failed to deliver. The lack of urgency, communication, and concern was incredibly disappointing. My dog's health and well-being should have been the priority, and instead I was left dealing with a very sick dog, expensive veterinary bills, and no meaningful response from the facility.

She is a detailed, positive dog trainer, who is also great at training us, on how to properly walk our dog Charlie. He had issues barking at other dogs and thanks to her he is becoming more calm and we have learned how to work with him to curb his behavior. It has come to our attention that there is another dog trainer in the area who got a similar company name to Jenina and he is awful. Some of the criticism of him has been accidently hurtled at Jenina. This is truly unfortunate for her and I hope the facts come to light!

This review is LOOOONNNGGGGG overdue. I had gotten a Shiba Inu puppy 3 years ago that had to be…read morehospitalized due to Parvo the next day. Then, once he recovered from that, had a fever that almost killed him and had to be hospitalized again. We had to keep him quarantined for a while and away from my other dog (a 7 year old Pomeranian at the time) and get all his vaccinations from the beginning. He was scared of literally every single noise and had anxiety about just about everything. Over time, he developed extreme food aggression and we were worried for the safety of my little Pom. He had been attacked a few times to the point of actual injury and it was extremely stressful for everyone. I was at my wits end and I felt like I had tried everything to help Gunnar (my Shiba) and protect Simba (my Pom). I did a lot of research and stumbled upon Jenina and sent her a message for private sessions where she would come to my apartment once a week. I believe I only used her for a little over a month but I am eternally grateful. The level of aggression Gunnar displayed was so dangerous that my roommate and I actually have been bitten with blood trying to protect Simba from harm where food is involved. The issue was that he wasn't aggressive with all foods and we were unaware the extent until it was too late (ex. we thought it was only wet food so we were giving a chew stick to them separately where I would have Simba sitting next to me on the couch and Gunnar would be on the floor away from Simba with my roommate and the switch was so sudden----from sweet to seemingly no warning lunging at Simba----I stuck my leg out to protect Simba and he bit my leg instead). I feel like at this point, a regular human being would give Gunnar up, but that wasn't an option. It wasn't an option when he came to me dying from Parvo, it wasn't an option when he had an almost fatal fever, and it wasn't going to be an option for me now. I was determined to find a way to help him because he is my baby and my responsibility. The vet suggested I contact a behavioral specialist and when I did, VCA told me the earliest appointment they had was months later. Fed up with waiting, I found Jenina. In a month's time, she had given me the tools to fix a seemingly impossible situation. Make no mistake---she made me work for it. She might come across brash to some people but she is very direct and straight to the point. She doesn't coddle you and makes sure she lets you know what you need to do because while the session is for dogs, it is actually more like training the parent. She gives you "homework" and training info and is only willing to help you if YOU do the work. Now, it wasn't a complete fix. He still has anxiety outdoors or unknown noises as well as food aggression but it is nowhere near what he used to be. Before Jenina, Gunnar couldn't even take a step outside the apartment building let alone go for a walk. Three years later, Simba has sadly since passed but he has a little brother that he is extremely patient with as he acts like a typical annoying little brother), his food aggression has gone down from 100 to 30, and we go out to all sorts of places. He is THRIVING and this is all thanks to Jenina. My roommate and I are on high alert and know what to look for in terms of triggers and are very quick to de-escalate aggression situations. We try our best not to avoid known triggers and we work with him every day to allow him to be his best self. He is the sweetest boy and we are so glad he's been able to show it instead of being overshadowed by aggression and anxiety. She also gave Gunnar his nickname---Gunny! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I am so sorry it took this long to leave this review but thank you so much for saving us. If we had listened to the VCA behavioral specialist that basically called Gunnar a monster and suggested we give him up, he probably would have been euthanized somewhere. We owe you so much.
