Okay, wow! I'm not sure what happened up there... :0/ I WILL agree that the location isn't spectacular...and the decor is a little outdated, but all in all, we had a good experience. ALL of the employees were nice and accommodating. There was no big, scary security guard (I went on a Tuesday night...and YES, there was league play), and the food lady was quick about bringing our food out to us. Starting right when we walked in, the guy working the counter was quick to tell us about the different specials going, and even set up a bowling ramp, provided lighter kid's bowling balls, AND put up the bumpers for my 5 year-old without me having to ask. The place is pretty big, with AT LEAST 34 lanes (we were 33 and there was at least one more to our right), the snack bar, an adult bar, and an arcade with pool tables. This place may be older and not in the best neighborhood but it's still one of my favorites! It's got character and plenty of lanes. Prob more lanes then I've seen at most other alleys. I always have a blast and their prices are cheaper then most of their competitors! I have always been pleased with this location so don't judge a book by its cover! read more

This is a great locally owned center that offers an excellent and affordable option for fun with friends or family. It's sadly a time where corporate owned centers are everywhere but this is a family owned place that truly cares about the customers. There are specials just about every day which makes it a great place for s date, to kill some time, or take the whole gang. Not to mention competitive prices in both the bar and kitchen, where the food is delicious!! I know what it sounds like, and no I don't work here. I am just someone who has grown up in the bowling community and I appreciate a good center, so want to help it thrive. If you're looking for a good time this is the place to be! read more

It is a very clean bowling alley. The equipment needs to be updated and the software for the game needs to be updated. The pins kept getting stuck and had to reset every time. The employees were nice and friendly. read more

To start with, I made an online party reservation and the website says you will receive a phone call from an event specialist in 24 hours. Well, that NEVER happened. I gave them a week to call, then went down there. Took the flyer on parties, which says $69.99, $99.99 except weekends 5pm and after you have to do the Ultimate package at $179.99. When I arrive to make reservations the guy at the front counter tells me that all reservations online go to the manager and it's up to them whether or not they want to put the party information in their books. (well what's the point of having that option if they don't even do anything with it?) Then he tells me that since my party is at four I can only get the Ultimate package. I was like what a minute, your flyer says 5pm and after, he says because the bowling is two hours they take that into consideration and I tell him then you should change your flyer to say 3pm and after, because this is very misleading. He didn't seem to care (I had already sent out invitations for people to come to this place so it wasn't like we could change it). The day of the party comes around, we show up early because I have some questions and they set up our table. But don't give us our bowling pin that can be signed by guest or our balloons or any extra plates for the food, we have to ask for everything. There was a party right next to us and I noticed that they didn't have to ask for anything and they were there about 5-10 minutes after we had arrived, they had the same amount of people, food and paid for the same package, plus they were being catered to, I saw staff over there talking to them all the time, we didn't get the same service. When the party was over, we checked out and the guy at the counter was trying to charge us for extra guest we didn't have, forgot to include our deposit and charge us for other things we didn't get, we had to tell him no, we didn't have but this many guest, show him the receipt for the deposit to get him to take off for that and the other things we didn't get. Then there was a line for tip which we DIDN'T include, why were we going to tip when we didn't get any service? We feel that we this bowling alley was trying to rip us off. Maybe that's why it shows as cheap! We were going to have this birthday party at Let it Roll Bowl on 12th St and Hatcher, but they wanted $140 deposit within three days of talking to them that's like almost all of the party cost! Who has that on hand two weeks before their party? And Glenfair was a bit cheaper at a $50 deposit and their packages where cheaper too, had I had the deposit Let it Roll Bowl wanted I would have gone with them and got the service I deserved. By the way, we got return vouchers (which we also had to ask for) for all the guest and we told them if you don't want them, we understand, but we don't want them either. Give them to someone you don't like. WE WILL NOT BE BACK HERE EVEN JUST TO BOWL, we'll go to Let it Roll Bowl and pay a little more to be treated better. read more

Decent bowling alley. Lanes were oiled pretty good. The food is... well, pretty terrible. Philly cheese steaks are just an embarrassment. Absolutely bland, no flavor. Remove from menu if that's how it's regularly prepared! My order was also completely messed up, but the fries were good. Staff was respectful. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We called at around noon and asked about specials....we called back at 6:30 to reserve a lane and we were told something totally different for specials. We were then told (by someone else) that the original price would be honored and that our name was in the book for a reservation at 8. We arrived at 8:05 (the neighborhood is scary...just an FYI) and the assistant manager was not helpful and rather rude. When we said that we had a reservation for 8, he "checked his book" and said that there was no reservation. We explained the situation and showed him when we had called (on our phone). He said that there were only 2 people on the floor at the time that we called but none of them talked to us (how is that possible...your business number...hmmmm) and that since we didn't remember who we talked to, he would not honor the deal. Awesome...we had three kids who were looking forward to bowling. Ok, fine...we were irritated and it was obvious that this guy was not going to be helpful....so, we asked about the best deal that he could give us. $2/per person/per game (7 people) +$3.50 /person for shoes...ouch! That was WAY more than the deal that we had originally been told ($45/party of 6--including shoes---2 hours of bowling). However, he continued to have an attitude with us and he had NO customer service. We decided to leave (the place was pretty dead on a Friday night at 8pm)...and we headed to AMF. We spent more to bowl there, but it was clean, great service and it was busy (FUN!!!). The kids had a great time and we were SOOOOOOO glad that we walked out of GlenFair Lanes. One of the worst alleys in the Valley. I had not bowled there in over 10 years because of the lane issues, mechanical break downs and other lane related issues. Then new people bought the center (Currently they own it right now) So 2 years ago I asked my friends to bowl a Monday night league there. They all were hesitant because of the issues and we thought what the heck. So we bowled and through out the 36 weeks there were numerous issues, mechanical and the application of oil on the lanes. So once league was over the team was like we are not coming back. But during the summer I sat down with the son of the owner (the son now runs everything) with one of my teammates and he assured us that these problems were going to be fixed before the next season. So I told the rest of my team members and we decided to give it one more season. 3 weeks in and we have a lane with a big bump down the lane about 5 feet away but right in the area you needed to bowl to get a strike. So are balls are flying like Evil Knieval. So I complained to the secretary of the league and went to the USBC who inspects lanes they responded or did not respond at best with no care may I add. Then the lanes would be fine for us for a couple of weeks but others would have problems on the pairs they were bowling. Multiple ball returns, machines not setting the correct amount of pins, score machine's not working properly and to add sugar on top, The oil machine would have an issue here and there with barely getting the same to close shot or not even a shot. So after the last incident I spoke out on a private forum for our league numerous times and called out the owner that we deserve a refund. I get no response and the first post I tried to post was blocked by the son and secretary of the league so know one saw it anyway. So I posted a few other times still asking for a return of the league money for that week the oil machine was broke. Nothing "Crickets". So off to bowling - To my shock I walk into league and the owner kicks me out of the bowling alley for having a negative opinion of he center and not coming directly to him instead of posting. Well I told him I did in the summer and you said it would be fixed. He then threatened me with Defamation etc.. But I explained it is not defamation if it is true. I did not break any USBC rules or league rules yet was kicked out which meant I could not finish the league. I had paid in already 300 dollars. As well as my teammates who were also effected by this and lost money because they quite over this. Freedom of Speech and maturity are a thing of the past. There is no accountability there until after the fact. I guess all of you on here who posted a negative review will be banned - be careful! LOL Go to Let it Roll - awesome private bowling alley - cheaper prices and great lanes and the food is awesome!. It may be a little further to drive but it will be worth it. read more

I come here on almost every Thursday night with my friends. We love it. They call it "Dollar Menu Night" bowling and shoes are a dollar and lots of food at the snack bar is a dollar too. The staff is fun and friendly. Cool place to be. read more
