Just heard about the eBay debacle: I had a similar experience there last year and will NEVER buy from any of the Glenn dealerships. They openly lied to me, went back on written deals and provided fraudulent service (charging for an inspection and work they didn't do). I took my Hyundai here for warranty service back before I had my wreck. They were always very friendly, and quick. They never tried to upsell, and Casey, the service adviser was patient with me when I'd have questions about why a certain service needed or didn't need to be performed. They had a nice waiting area too, with free soda and coffee and donuts while you waited. read more

Zero professionalism. Their salesman Andrew contacted me about a car I was selling privately and asked me to give them an opportunity to buy it. I knew they wouldn't give me a good price but I thought it might be worth checking out. I checked with Andrew before I left work to meet him, telling him I would be there in 30 minutes, he said he would be able to meet me. As I was arriving I asked him which building I would find him in (they have no less than 3 showrooms) and he informs me he is out on a test drive with customers, and asks me to come back another time. I refuse (the whole taking off work, and his commitment to me should be honored thing) and ask if anyone else can meet with me, he says sure, he'll arrange something. I get there, no one has heard anything, I call Andrew and get a half hearted apology, but no effort to fix anything. I wouldn't believe this, and still don't believe it as I'm reviewing my texts from Andrew. Selling cars is how these people make money, I get it. But if you have a confirmed appointment, try to make it or at least arrange for someone else to cover for you... I'll give it two stars because the other people I worked with were all reasonably helpful. read more

Tried purchasing a sentra and waited 3 days for paperwork/credit check. All of a sudden my $1,000 down turned into $3,000 down for absolutely no reason whatsoever. This is with extraordinary credit. After meeting with the manager who at first refused to return my keys claiming the deal was 'done' and arguing with them for 30 minutes about their business practices, the manager finally tells me, "life is too short to argue with people like you" and threw my old car keys at me. I just stood there astounded thinking, are you kidding me? To top off my experience, the salesman slaps my window as I'm pulling out and 'thanked' me for wasting his time This place is as shady as can be . These people belong in jail. read more

After purchasing a car we were referred to Barbara in finance. We told her we didn't want any warranties. She seemed upset by this but proceeded to do paperwork for Tire Care. This was a standard inclusion and no choice was given and no price mentioned. After signing the paper, she quickly stuffed it in an envelope and set it aside. A couple of days later we looked through the paperwork very closely and figured out we were being charged $593 for tire care. We returned and Barbara did cancellation papers and assured us the money would be sent back to the bank promptly. After a couple of weeks we inquired about our refund when Deanna informed us that she never received the proper paperwork. We sent her our copy. A week later she asked us for the mileage reading on the car. Another couple of weeks later we begin trying to contact Deanna about the refund. Through the next 2-3 weeks email and phone calls to Deanna and managers were completely ignored. We finally drove back to Nicholasville (we live in Winchester) and sought a manager. This seemed to prompt a phone call a few days later when Deanna informed us the check was in the mail. Two weeks after this we see that we were refunded $508. This is $85 short of the original amount. It included a $75 cancellation fee for Tire Care we didn't want and $ 10 for who knows what. It obviously didn't reimburse us for the accumulated interest on our loan for this theft. It again has already be a week and we are being completely ignored by management again. UPDATE: After this review went up Jared Gaiennie made sure we were quickly refunded the 85 dollars that remained from the Tire Care. read more

Wish I saw all these reviews before I tried to buy a car from there. I don't know how these guys sleep at night. 1. They used me and another customer against each other to drive up the price of a vehicle which was already OVER retail. 2. Due to the condition of the vehicle I decided to pay the higher price. I test drove it and came back to the dealership to pick it up and there was a new set of scratches on the right side. Wouldn't work with me at all on it. Wouldn't even throw me $100 on it. The finance dept is the rudest people I ever saw. I would not recommend glen auto mall to anyone. I bought a new car in 11, went back only to be taken to another building to have a older gray haired man to insult us and try to make us feel bad that our credit wasn't perfect. He got mad that we wouldn't take the deal they offered . I told him I would keep my car or go somewhere else not to be treated so bad especially after buying a new car from them. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, and their Ebay auctions as well. They put up cars on Ebay and if the price is too low, they try to refuse to sell it to you (which is illegal, and after realizing this they must complete the sale). read more

We've purchased two cars from them. Our first was a Nissan Altima and we had it for about a year or two and decided to trade it in for a bigger SUV. Our second was a used Buick Enclave that had major known problems. They said they would "make it right" and work with us to switch it for a different car and the deal they gave us was comical. We ended up buying an Enclave from a dealer in Cincinnati. We live in Lexington though so took our 2012 Buick Enclave to service to have tires rotated and balanced, oil change and a car detail. The car detail was horrible!!! Makes me question how detail oriented they were with our oil change and tire rotation. We had Armor All dripping from our navigation screen, the slits in the floor where the chairs move forward and backward were completely missed (we have two kids and a dog so the junk that had fallen into them was very noticeable), the carpets weren't shampooed and were filthy, the backs of the front seats weren't touched (where the kid's feet are), the windows were cloudy (like they used a dirty rag to wipe them), etc. I could literally go on and on. They offered to "make it right" but we had heard that before when we had the dud used car. No thanks! Will hopefully never have to go back here again. I found Mark Sweeney Buick on-line (the dealership in Cincinnati). Their website was very helpful and their prices were $6,000 to $8,000 less than Glenn Buick. Bought a Sonata in Huntington, moved to Lexington. I had to get services done at Glenn's in Lexington. The manager of the service department; I believe her name is Casey; (short blonde, homely looking) couldn't have been any more unproffesional. Hung up on my wife, called me a jerk, promised a rental but took that back when we arrived. Nonetheless she is just a small piece of the fraudulent puzzle. Read the other posts. It's not just me. I dare you to buy a car at Glenn's. Once we hit 100,00 miles in the Sonata we ended up trading it in and getting a nissan in Nicholasville. Wanted another Sonata, but you couldn't give me one to deal with the likes of the service department at Glenn's. However I did hear they had some deals on ebay that were tough to beat. read more

I had bought a new Mitsubishi from the back when they were Glenn Mitsubishi. I recently purchased a used vehicle from them because previous experience was awesome. This time wasn't the case. First off the salesman was terrible and even tried to send me to another car lot. It took a week to purchase the car I have now. I dealt with management and they helped out tremendously to get my car. Now I know Why they worked So hard to get me this car. It is a lemon and they wanted to get rid of it. I have had the car 6 months now. I have already had to replace all four tires because they were below 50% tread. There is an oil leak, battery cables are corroded, brakes grind and make steering wheel shake when I go to stop, cd player doesn't work at all, and it misses when you are driving (feels like it isn't getting sufficient gas). When I went to get oil leak checked, they gave me an oil change.... I had only had the car for a month at this point. They said they couldn't fix the leak and would have to take it to a Ford dealer. Best of all the warranty covers none of the repairs... they gave me the lowest warranty possible. I qualified for a higher amount at other dealerships and regret not taking advantage of it. They Knew I was in a pinch for a car since my other broke down. took advantage of my situation and sold me a car that wasn't worth it. Do not go here, they will scam you with all the fine print. read more
