When we arrived she had everything ready for us, we were called back very quickly and met with Dr. Nguyen who went over the process to include our options. The Doctor was very patient with us as parents and with our son, total time was a little under an hour for the extraction. I am not sure where the negative reviews come from, the Doctor is honest and straightforward which should be a positive, it may be as parents we are just very anxious for our children so the situation is already high stress soon as you walk in. Our son is showing no signs of extreme stress or pain, he is running around happy showing everyone where his tooth is gone! In summary, this place was great and just need to keep in mind its going to be difficult no matter where you go when you have to hold your kids hand when they are distressed.

They are open later on Monday's and Thursdays which works great with my schedule, and they offer laughing gas or extra numbing if you are nervous about an upcoming procedure. The only issue I have is that near the time of an upcoming appointment they bombard you with reminder texts, and confirmation emails. Even after I reply that Yes, I am still coming, they send even more reminders. It's a bit crazy but I guess they really want to make sure you show up! In any case, I hope to be able to keep using them as my dentist while I live in Aurora.

At the time, I was in the process of moving back to California and couldn't schedule the follow ups, and thank god for that because it would have been a waste of money. After my appointment at the new office here in CA, I was told that 2 of the recommended fillings from Aurora Village's medical files were never necessary and were actually just stains on the tooth. The third was actually damage on the side of my tooth from one of the other cleanings/fillings that I did have done at Aurora Village. Makes me wonder if any of the VERY expensive procedures I got from them were ever necessary. Is it fraud if you prescribe unnecessary services to a patient? Either way I don't recommend this practice for your dental needs simply on the basis of trusting the providers to recommend necessary or even correct treatments.
