This store is very clean and organized compared to the other liquor stores I have been to. They have a variety of alcoholic beverage and spirits. For parking, there is a small parking lot in front of the store which is shared with other businesses. It is usually to find a spot to park.

Having picked out two different cans from the beer cave, the clerk at the front counter rang them up and said "12". I paid, then headed into the L.A. night.... At a red light just down the road, I looked at the receipt: $12.93. Then it hit me that these didn't ring up correctly, and saying just "12" felt deceptive. Thankfully, I had asked for a receipt. One beer rang up as $5.39, and the other $6.39. Back at Circus Liquor a minute later, I pointed out to the same clerk that he had overcharged me... one can absolutely had a $4.99 sticker on it (and I, incorrectly, thought they both did). Pointing out the pricing discrepancy, he pointed at the can that didn't have a sticker and said "That one is $5.99." The receipt showed neither beer rang up at that price. Luckily, an older gentleman also working behind the counter stepped in at that moment and asked how we could resolve this. He offered for me to swap out the $4.99 beer for one more expensive to make up for the difference. That was fair enough for me. Yet, with the lack of prices, I looked for a fair trade and felt like my choices were limited. There are plenty of other options around and plenty that are completely transparent with their prices. Thus, I have no plans to stop by Circus Liquor again. If you do visit, I strongly recommend you ask for a receipt and check it! A second star is given only because the older clerk did a good job of diffusing the situation. The other guy was no help.

So I told him I was here 2 days ago it was 29.99 but he was going back and fourth me, claiming he don't remember I showed him the receipt what I paid last time and he wants to charge more cause it's a LA dodgers style. Good service, decent selection (obviously not as extensive as the NoHo location due to having less space) and decent pricing make it a winner. Circus Liquors swag is sold here too, including shirts and hats. A little odd but one whole side of the store is devoted to machines selling lottery tickets; guess this creates income for the business? Liquor and lottery tickets, what a combo! Free parking in the private lot.
