Also there are several non alcoholic drinks available. Inside is low key and quiet and outside is busy with customers coming and going. There is a small stock of premium cigars as well. read more

I picked up this two ready to drink VMC Paloma Cocktail by Canelo Alvarez and Smooj Pina Colada Smoothie Seltzer! smooji was a little on higher price. But it was very good. They both are a most try! The best shop in the SFV for beer and liquors! Total wine & Bevmo aint got nothing on Bottle Shoppe. They have the greatest selection I've seen in the valley. BEER: They support small batch beers/breweries and showcase alot of never before seen options. They have small 4 can packs & single cans to mix and match and try something new. My OCD loves how organized their coolers are. With a sign above each to Direct you to the vibe you want. Stouts, IPAs, Lagers, sours, blonded..they have it all! Only complaint is no "Paperback Brewing" SELTZERS: OMG!!! I love their selection! I am an avid seltzer drinker and they carry some I have never even heard of. They even carry GINOURMOUS buzzballs to give an entire party a good blackout. LIQUOR: Another amazing...you guessed it...selection! A great stop for gifting a fellow drinker...they have alot of great gift ideas and some cool packaging for bottles. They carry, snacks, cocktail mixers, anything you could really want for a fun party. Even carrying non alcoholic options for those not a part of the dark side. I mean...I liked it before, but honestly during the last couple of weeks I feel a special love for "The Bottle Shoppe"(& I know I'm not the only one LOL). They have a great selection of beers, IPA's, tequila, rum, whiskey, gin...everything! Basically any type of booze, whatever you are craving they have it. Lately I've been a fan of Hard Kombucha & I am happy they have a great selection. Customer Service: Super friendly staff & very down to earth. They will help you find exactly what you're looking for or answer any question you may have. Place: I love the interior design, so cute! It's like a cabin with lights...& BOOZE! Location: Sylmar! On Hubbard & Glenoaks...both streets have an entrance to the parking lot. Yes, it might be just a little pricier than "Total Wine" or "BevMo" but it's worth it! I was looking forward to coming here. But I was disappointed for the lack of service and prices higher than I would expected. There was one guy working there who only acknowledged me after I said hey. He spent the time I was there taking to his wife, girlfriend or maybe a female customer. I found one thing I wanted but priced more than what I bought from a place closer. Too bad because they seemed to have a really good and diverse selection. Absolutely hidden gem. At first glance, the shop isn't as large as per say a Total Wine or Mission Liquor, but damn did they make up for their selection of craft beer and liquor. Their craft selection is the real deal. I could have spent hours at the store just looking at each of the beer selections, but I already knew what I wanted. The hustle with the place is simply out of this world. I have seen many people try and get stuff from Breweries and they get rejected but somehow these guys just know how to persuade those Breweries. Love the variety of beers they carry as well as liquor. Overall you are bound to find your style of drink at this location which I high recommend. read more

Visited this spot on a Saturday evening around 6:30 pm, man is this place busy. They've got a huge selection of drinks, not what I was looking for in particular but I will just have to try something new...Belching Beaver Seltzers *Cough Cough* haha. The setup is pretty neat and you can spend hours trying to figure out what you want exactly since there is just so much to choose from. Staff is pretty laid back and are relatable with all the customers. If you can close your eyes and imagine some sort of crazy alcoholic concoction they probably have it. The 1 star deduction is for the pricing on some items being higher than your usual store prices. read more

This place is way over priced I would not recommend this spot the beer and bourbon is over price half the beer and bourbon I can get from total wine and it won't be this expensive they had a bottle of Woodford doubled oak reserve for almost $60 when you can buy it at total wine And more for $45 and then they charge for double ipa four pack beer for $38 when you can get it some where else for 16.99 insane will never go back here again no thank you over priced for no reason read more

I've been here a handful of times since moving into The area. I was excited by the idea of a liquor store that sold different and original spirits. My experience has been two fold. Great costumer Service, attentive, engaging, informative to non engaging and barely being acknowledged from beginning to end. Prices are 10-15% more than elsewhere. read more

Love coming here. Love the variety of the liquor they have. Love that it's close. But if you don't love working here, love dealing with clients with stupid questions, you should not work here. I only say this to provide feedback to management as someone who has spent over $500 in the past 6 months here. People working here should be courteous, patient, and welcoming. read more

I'm not sure if this place is trying to be a hole in the wall or a respectable establishment to be honest. Great selection of stuff I would never find anywhere else. If anything, they should offer special orders if possible on items that are limited production or from specialty brewers (sorta like a comic book shop) through some sort of membership program or subscription service maybe. ‍ And yes, the prices are higher than you would expect. But there are some real hidden gems on the shelf here and this is a private establishment, not BevMo or TotalWine. Comes with the territory so STFU. My only gripe is the consistency in professionalism. Been coming here regularly for a few months now and sometimes the guys working the counter keep it professional. But other times, like my last visit, it isn't all that great to hear the guy ringing you out call the other employee a "bitch" or any other deragatory language. At the very least keep it professional around customers and save the shit talking for back of house. Anyhow, place is gem considering the location. read more

I'm giving this review solely on the customer service. I went and they have yes a good variety or drinks IPA, imports, hard liquor etc. Cool right? Well... no one greets you when you walk in ok whatever. You walk around no one comes out and asks if you need anything ok too, maybe they let you look in peace? But at check out I notice they aren't very friendly. Very dry, not very talkative like if they don't know you they could care less. Not "how's it going?" did you find everything ok? Not any info on any drinks. Just basically a pay for your drinks and get the hell out attitude. Really terrible customer service. Guy at the register was rude for no reason and a customer came to ask him a question while I was being checked out and he responded so nasty and snobby. When the customer was simply asking for help on which product they were in need of. Sad because I loved coming here but left a really bad taste in my mouth. My sister has come here several times for their beers. She always has good experiences when she is here. This was my first time here. They have a small parking lot, but customers are quick to find what they need and they leave right after. I wanted a lager and so I asked an employee what he suggests. He was very knowledgable with all the beers and which brewery they were from. He suggested the El Segundo Casa Azul for me and that was what I got. My sister got an Offshoot - Escape and Alvarado Street. The single cans were a little pricey, but this is a specialty shop so I can see why. My sister liked the Alvarado Street beer that she got. We both did not like the Escape. I thought the Casa Azul was meh. It tasted like a watered down Guinness. Next time I am there, I will go for something else. What I liked most about this shop was that it was really clean, employees were nice, and everything was organized. They also sell wine and hard liquor here. read more
