Went to GF this week. The ambiance and decor are gorgeous. It was a little dark at our table. Super fun bar areas and beautiful patio area. The staff was wonderful and extremely responsive. My husband ordered the short rib dish and ended up getting a bowl of pasta with just a couple of very small pieces of short rib. He sent it back and they did add more short rib but it's still probably wasn't worth the $32. Our waitress and the manager were very accommodating and were dedicated to making our experience to good. I had a cosmopolitan which was delicious! It was so good that I ordered a second but then I could not finish it because I felt too buzzed. I could not really taste the alcohol in it so I didn't expect that but no complaints! I ordered the salmon dish. I got a very healthy portion of salmon and it was cooked fairly well, although a little raw in the middle. It smelled a little bit fishy, but tasted pretty good. I would definitely want to go back here for the trivia night that they have in the upstairs bar on Wednesday nights. read more

What a beautiful building. Everything we had was great . Lots of gluten free items on the menu and some very interesting cocktails. The truffle fries were fabulous. Literally one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I've probably gone 10 or more times and haven't had anything I've even slightly regretted buying. It's expensive, but holy it's worth it. Drinks are phenomenal. The liquors themselves are good enough, haven't tried them all, had a couple that weren't good to drink straight but are very good in their mixed drinks. Great food with stunning ambiance, but the service is absolutely sub-par. Wife and I tried out GlenPharmer for Saturday brunch while waiting for shops to open. In addition to a restaurant, there's an active distillery, which brings some pros and cons. Pro: They have a wide variety of spirits which were likely distilled just a few dozen feet away from where you're dining. Con: They can't serve any alcohol they don't make themselves. Meaning no beer, no wine, no corgials or other cocktail staples like vermouth. While the building is set back from the road and easy to drive past, the interior is a stunner. Huge ceilings, beautiful stonework and plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The wife and I were excited to try their spirits, so we got a flight. You get the sense this is more of a whisky distillery, though we were surprised to find we actually liked the "bog" (cranberry infused vodka) and their gin more! The gin especially is world class, we liked it so much we bought a bottle. It's a good thing the food was good because the service is terrible. At 11:30AM, we were one of two patrons in the entire place. It took 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were there, and even then the servers couldn't decide who would actually be serving us. Eventually we got service and ordered the clam chowder, lobster roll and "Nashville style" chicken. We both loved the chowder and my wife really liked the lobster itself, though she commented that it was served on a regular hotdog bun. I really wanted to like the chicken, great breading and good flavor, but it was soaked with oil and had zero heat. I went back and re-read the description and, sure enough, nowhere do they advertise it as spicy chicken so shame on me. When it came time for the check, our server had one speed: glacial. We exchanged some pleasantries and asked for the check. Then I went to the bathroom. Then my wife went to the bathroom. Then I went and wandered around, peeking at the distillery. I still made it back to the table well before the server got us our check...oh, and there were 4 small groups there, including us. Next time we'll sit AT the bar and maybe we'll get halfway decent service. read more

I stopped by here earlier today for dinner by myself. I was staying in the Milford area and needed dinner and so checked Yelp for a dinner spot. The Glen Pharmer Distillery came up as option #1 and after looking at the menu I knew I wanted to go. The outside of this place looks awesome with string lights and a giant patio. On the inside you first walk into their store/hostess stand where they are selling some of their alcohol. Then off to the left is the dining room with an L shaped bar and plenty of other seating, both hightop and lowtop. The fixtures are interesting as they are cicular with Edison bulbs and the ductwork is exposed on the ceiling. Since I was a party of 1 and the place seemed pretty busy for a Wednesday night, I decided to sit at the bar. For dinner on this evening I was eyeing up the chicken and waffles but ultimately ended up ordering the southern chicken sandwich with truffle fries. The menu described my sandwich as coming with onion, tomato, lettuce, jalepeno bacon, Nashville sauce, garlic aoili and butter pickles. I first started out by tasting the truffle fries which were good. You could definitely taste the truffle on the outside and they were hot with a satisfying crispy exterior. After that I tried the chicken sandwich which was massive and looked like it could have been in a photo spread for a magazine. It was tasty as the inside was hot and juicy while the outside was crispy and had the nashville dip on it. I didn't get the jalepeno on the bacon but still thought it was a good addition and the bun was toasted nicely so that the sandwich didn't fall apart. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I thought that some of their other entrees and drinks both sounded good and would be worth a try. read more

We went here with reservations at 1:00p today only to find out that they serve brunch (no lunch) up-to 2pm on Sundays. The server thought they served dinner at 4p but looks like they serve dinner starting 2:30p! The server seemed new and wasn't able to provide any recommendations. We decided to go ahead and try the brunch menu anyway instead of coming back at 4p for dinner. They did serve beverages from the dinner menu, however. We got the smoky old fashioned and spiked coffee for our drinks. Ordered frittata, eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast, pharmer omelette. For a cooler experience, I wish the server had placed the old fashioned on the table and then removed the lid for the cool (smokey) affect. She took it off when she was close to the table. The old fashioned was amazing and the smokiness made it really delightful. The spiked coffee was a bit too strong for me, but that's my taste! We had a nice time here. The decor is classy and elegant. Service was good and we look forward to be back soon for some lunch/dinner on the menu. read more

Everything was great. We had the Pork Buns (Bao) & they were exceptional. One of the best bites of food I've had in years. GF had Pork Chop which was great and I had the Short Rib which was a little dry but the only small complaint I have about the food. We'll be back for the Bao & to try the smash burger. We hosted our daughter's wedding reception at GlenPharmer last night. I don't normally write reviews on Yelp, or in general, but I just HAD to come here and say what a fantastic job GP did!!!! The food was amazing, from the appetizers (highly recommend the devils on horseback), the bread and butter (yes, I'm raving about bread and butter!!!), the salad, and the mains. Everything was amazing!!! The venue itself is absolutely perfect for a wedding! First, it's right off 495, so it's very easy to get to. Second, you have the entire second floor to yourself. One side is for the cocktail hour, the other side is for dinner, then back to the first side for dancing. The bar is centrally located between the two sides for convenience. Speaking of the bar, you just have to have their cocktails! So good!!! Also, the interior of the venue manages to capture both a rustic and modern feel to it. It's great for taking wedding photos! And there's even a private room for the wedding party. My only two suggestions would be: 1) Designate a server for the wedding party. I believe the brides had their own server, but the parents who paid for the party and who are hosting had to wait in long lines at the bar for a drink. It's impossible to host and get a drink. Every time a guest passed by the bar line, I had to have a conversation with them. I only ended up getting one drink the whole time as it just took too long. 2) Round tables are better than rectangular for conversations. But all said, I would highly recommend GP for your wedding!! read more

An unexpected surprise from start to finish! We stopped here spontaneously and sat at the bar! It was so fun to watch the bartenders preparing magical libations. The couple beside us suggested the Smokey Volcano. It did not disappoint! It was spicy, Smokey and delish! Get ready for the kick especially as you get to the bottom! The peach mojito special was also a treat! The bartenders were friendly and on their game. We also had some great Asian chili bone-in wings! We usually hit GP every other/ every third month, and it is typically very busy. On Thursday night, 08/28/2025 @ ~ 6:30 PM, it was dead. Took 30 minutes to get our first drinks, 35 minutes to get seconds 1.5 hours to get food. We were there a total of 2.3 hours. There were 7-9 tables outside empty, bar was empty, and many tables inside were empty. Maybe it was due to the holiday weekend, maybe it was new staff... This was my favorite restaurant that my wife and I visited during our time working in Massachusetts. They had awesome cocktails and incredibly tasty flatbreads. This is a great option for food in the area that doesn't hit hard on your wallet. I started off with the GP smoked old fashioned and I believe my wife had the fast gin fizz, while we both ordered the clam chowder. The smoked old fashioned was a really interesting take on the classic cocktail. While not traditional, it offered an incredible balance between smokiness and sweetness from the Thai tea and brown sugar, all while still showcasing their signature rum in a wonder display. The fast gin fizz was light, floral and easy drinking, so if that's your cocktail style, it's a solid choice. The clam chowder is on the thinner side, but packed full with chunks of bacon, potatoes and clams. While the addition of olive oil was not something I particularly cared for, it added a unique taste and texture that I could definitely see others finding pleasant. For our main entrées, I went for the Pharmer flatbread and my wife had the Spinach flatbread. The Pharmer was an absolute delight. The crust was baked perfectly, with a little bit of char. The mozzarella was stretchy and the added blue cheese offered its signature funkiness alongside the nutty parmesan. The bacon-onion compote incorporated a nice meaty flavor, along with a sweetness that paired amazingly with the blue cheese for a sweet and salty/savory combo. Lastly, the truffle oil gave it that fantastic earthy, umami flavor that only truffle can. Unfortunately, because we tried the Pharmer first, the Spinach didn't come across as flavorful. However, my wife had it leftover the next day and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only suggestion for it would be to have a bit more of the tomato sauce, because it's flavor was a bit dialed back from all of the vegetables. I finished dinner off with the lemon cheesecake and my wife had the espresso chocolate tart. The lemon cheesecake was a sublime way to finish. It was light, airy and creamy with a citrusy zing and a dense, sweet blueberry finish from the compote. The espresso chocolate tart was not my wife's style but still delicious, regardless. It has a very rich dark chocolate taste (which was too bitter for her preference) married with a light espresso essence. Overall, this meal was fabulous and I only regret not trying this place sooner. If you're in the area this GlenPharmer is definitely worth checking out and I highly recommend it. read more

Our party was a group of four, and my partner and I ordered the "Not So Basic..." cocktail, short rib bites, pasta special (squid ink pasta w lobster), lamb shank, bombolini, and coconut blueberry tart - TASTE: 5/5 - the pumpkin vodka, paired w the spice mix and Irish cream, in my drink tasted perfect for the season, and the short rib bites appetizer had a nice, sweet undertone, similar to the addicting bread & butter that we kept requesting more of. To me, the absolute highlights of the meal were the polenta (so rich) in the lamb shank, and entire squid ink pasta dish (spicy!). Finished off strong w cream-filled donuts, plus candy apple caramel, lemon curd, and cinnamon icing sauces. I expected more of the coconut to come through in the tart though! TEXTURE: 4/5 - my drink was topped w a cinnamon bubble, that became smoky after popping; I was truly dazzled lol. Had brunch here on Sunday, very cool looking spot. We sat on the Covered Bridge and had excellent service. I ordered a bloody with the spicy vodka option, she has the ultimate bloody which came with bacon and shrimp. As an aside, not a fan of shrimp in my drink....I get it that I'm in the minority on this but that is a hard pass for me. Anywho, Liz loved her drink and specifically mentioned that the shrimp was delicious. We started with the waffle bites, it was a fairly large serving to waffles torn into bite size pieces served warm with cinnamon butter and melted Chocolate. Pretty freaking amazing. She ordered the huevos rancheros, we Both agreed that the crispy tortillas should be soft and served on the side but it was a minor point. It was still very good. What an interesting place we stopped in for dinner. They are known for the drink selection which they definitely do have a large variety of different drinks and speciality drinks. I did love too that they had a good variety of non alcoholic cocktails as well. The food was an interesting variety as well from chicken and waffles to a quinoa bowl. At last, a place that is different and mellow. My One and I went upon recommendation of her nurse niece. This a restaurant for grown-ups so rest assured you'll be able to relax fully without the usual screaming toddlers that are inevitable at most any place these days. It appears an old mill building and is rustic with trending touches and an historic vibe. The menu is quite teenie but each dish is unique, and the flavors are carefully balanced by the chef who obviously cares about the quality. Ingredients are carefully selected and thoughtfully composed. This isn't your typical pub-grub with chicken fingers and the usual stuff. This is more gourmet and hip and yuppified, if you will. Prices are quite reasonable for food of this genre. Some funky cocktails are available, and the service was friendly and efficient. Been wanting to stop in here for a while and finally did during a snow storm. Even with the storm there was a wait so we grabbed seats at the bar. They take reservations and I suggest you make one if coming. The seating area is small, but cozy. Nice "L" shaped bar with their liquors nicely displayed. Now this is a liquor only establishment, but don't let that deter you. The liquors that make were extremely good, and I am not a liquor guy. I had the smoking volcano, a cool drink presentation with smoke, wife had the BOG. We started with chicken wings and received a good size appetizer portion of wings perfectly cooked. I had the smokehouse flatbread. The flavors it were great. Wife was keto, so she was more difficult, but our bartender took it all in with a smile. This is our second visit here and the food was just as delicious as our first visit. Our server was excellent and the staff cleans up your dishes like clock work. My husband had an amoretto sour and I tried the sweatah weathah which was a warm cider with just the right amount of spices to feel like a hug in a glass, Both were delicious. We had the charcuterie board which we've had here before and it was as yummy as we remembered. Our entrees were the short rib bolognese and the skillet chicken. My husband enjoyed every last bite of the chicken while I was in carb heaven with my bolognese! We ended our delicious meal by sharing the apple crisp slab pie which was more than enough for two. Nice place. Still surprised so many people that live around me haven't heard of it. The parking is great and the decor is warm and inviting. Our waitress was top notch. Super friendly and efficient. She was good with recommendations as well which I generally appreciate. I didn't find a drink I would order again yet but I do not really have a go-to cocktail and often order from options. The Fast Gin Fizz was a bit too bitter & strong for me but then our waitress took it and added some citrus syrup or something that helped. My friend got the Campfire Peach Manhattan and liked it very much. First, shout-out to the bread & butter they bring almost immediately. You can tell it will be good just by the looks and it was heaven. I could have had a few more slices and nothing else. We both got chowder to start and it was excellent. For meals, my friend got the Skillet Chicken and cleaned her plate. I got the Split Pea Cakes and would not get that again. The romesco and brussels sprouts were good. The cakes were meh and I couldn't even bit through the mushrooms. I did see a lot of the chicken sandwiches being delivered. Most people had to disassemble to eat properly due to the size but if you take it apart & reassemble, it seems like you could make a great sandwich. A great sunday morning includes brunch at Glen Pharmer Distillery. This is only our second time here, but we already know this place will be in our regular rotation. The first time we were was for dinner. It was A+++! We can also safely say, the brunch is just. as. good. Part of what makes Glen Pharmer's brunch so good is their amazing cocktails. We ordered the Pail-of-dough for the table. A bucket of donut holes. Perfectly cooked, dusted gently with powdered sugar served with 3 dipping sauces. I'm not going to lie, I wish I had ordered this for just myself. Two of us ordered the Short Rib Hash (two eggs, the best...best short rib you'll ever have, and a potato and veg hash). Who's left...a Doughnut Sandy (soft scrambled eggs, cheddar and bacon sandwiched between 2 glazed donuts) & Eggs Benedict (you already know what's in eggs benny). Such a satisfying meal. I don't mean full, I mean truly satisfied. From when you walk in, until you leave everything has been considered. Thoughtful food and genuine service easily make this place a favorite for us.
