Walked in to work out and noticed Fox News wasn't on any of their many TVs. When asked, staff flat-out said they're "not allowed" to put it on. So let me get this straight -- dozens of televisions, nonstop sports, random reality nonsense, and selectively approved news channels, but one mainstream news network is banned? That's not "judgment free," that's controlled and biased. I'm here to lift weights, not be quietly told what viewpoints are acceptable. If Planet Fitness wants to act like a politically filtered bubble instead of a gym, they should be honest about it. Plenty of other gyms manage to treat adults like adults and let them choose what they watch. Do better -- or at least stop pretending this place is neutral! So...my husband and I as well as our children and their families will no longer be members.

My BIG NEGATIVE - the woman who works the desk during the week is the worst front desk person I have ever encountered. Never looks up at you as you check-in, never replies when you say "hi", never replies when you say "goodbye", just stares at her phone or her computer screen. If you have have someone at your front desk who doesn't reply to your customer's hellos or goodbyes, you should remove that person immediately as it is negatively affecting an otherwise good business. If you're rude to your customers - the people that approach you to give you their money instead of other businesses, they will go elsewhere.

If she's having a bad day she yells and screams at clients, swearing while using foul language. She's loud, crude, and unfriendly to say the least. And if she doesn't like you, she'll find a way to get rid of you. One time they had the police there because she was accused of throwing away a man's phone. (She was trying to get rid of him) Another time I observed her laying on top of the counter. This place has no washing machine, the staff was going to the laundry mat but because of laziness, the immature woman throws the towels in the dryer dirty, then puts them back out on the floor for client use. More than one client has observed her disgusting behavior as well. This woman rarely cleans and leaves it for the next one coming on duty. I've been going there for years, however, since Lou Pellino sold it to Nims, the place has turned into a dump! Rarely vacuum, dust machines and it takes months to get them to fix anything. They even run out of towels and toilet paper in the locker rooms. I had a guy come out one time and ask me if I would go get him toilet paper in the lady's room.... If I were you go someplace where you can get quality because you sure as hell aren't gonna get it at "The Nautilus".

They are all super friendly, body positive, and open to all kinds of folk who walk through the door. I have taken classes with people of all ages, sizes, and strength/ability. The instructors take extra care to make sure everyone gets the attention they need to master the right moves and they all owe it to Terri for training them. Some of the instructors are professional dancers while for others it's a hobby, but they are all talented and lovely people. I've improved so much and after trying other studios in the area, this is my ultimate favorite.

Just be transparent and tell people what it costs to join the gym. Secondly, it's at the east side of Aviation Mall, a side that resembles a ghost town in that is nothing but empty stores makes me feel like I am walking into some horror movie. I dont like to go to places that feel abandoned. The people on their team don't look in good shape themselves so if you are a gym that charges a premium, I want to have coaches that are in better shape than me.
