The coaches are very friendly here and the workouts will wipe you out almost as much as a good CF workout. You don't use heavy weights in these classes. Instead, you exercise for 45 minutes straight using body weight, dumbbells, bands, etc. Overall, I like the setting and classes. The cost is $179/month if you don't want to commit to 6 months or longer so the price isn't for the faint of heart. Also, they charge a $15 cancellation fee if you don't cancel 12 hours or further out for a class. You need to give 30 days notice even when you're a month to month member. If you have a job where your schedule can change last minute you might want to skip joining as you'll rack up cancellation fees. The fees are really my biggest pet peeve with this place. Other than that, you'll get a good workout.

Every possible thing is going on at this club-Swimming, 2 levels worth of gym space, 4 specialized gym spaces, a ton of activities and clubs--yes this is our 2nd home now. On top of that, the value you get for the family membership is beyond worth it. So excited to finally take the leap and join the Y. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the community is so welcoming.

It's rare to find such a positive and nurturing environment for teens entering the workforce. Both of my children have participated in the summer camp and sports programs. The attention to detail, the care, and the personal connections the staff make with each child are unmatched. They are always greeted by name, with joy and familiarity--it truly feels like family welcoming us every time we walk through the door. A special thank you to Kristie and Jenna, who have gone above and beyond from day one. Their presence has made a lasting impact on our family. Through difficult personal challenges over the past five years, this YMCA has been a steady source of peace, encouragement, and community for us. The studio has a shower, locker room, cubbies, and a shop area for merch. I brought my own mat but it seemed like you could buy or rent one there if need be, i was able to borrow a towel. It felt very friendly and welcoming. The class I took today with Aaron was a bit disappointing. He walks around the studio back and forth a lot, talks very fast with some mumbling, and did not do any demonstration of the movement. The one I went to was "all level's vinyasa." I tried it for 15 minutes and it wasn't working for me, I told him that. He said he walks around to check the room, and suggested me to move my mat closer to another student and asked me "not to interrupt again." Honestly moving closer to another student might have helped but my mood was ruined so I left. I was looking forward to class with Aaron as I saw some positive reviews online, and it was truly disappointing.

One sister bailed so there were five of us. After he set each of us up on our bikes, we did a "warm up" on the TRX that quickly had us all in a full sweat. Then onto the bikes. A projector screen came down and we biked through a town in France while Bob kept us going with a range of pace, resistance and positions that created challenging intervals set to a fun and varied playlist. All the while he was enthusiastic and encouraged us in a positive, not shouty way and made sure we were all comfortable on our bikes. Highly recommend!
