Great walkable NY-style pizza with a crispy crust and oozing cheese and toppings! I will say, whenever people say "NY pizza", people will feel very strongly about that qualifier. Obviously if you go to NY, that will be the most authentic. But that doesn't mean other cities can't make excellent pizzas as well. I would encourage you to give this place a try and make your own judgements! Given that caveat, I think this place will be a big hit. On a Saturday afternoon/evening on the beltline, the orders never stopped coming. We ordered a full pizza with pepperoni and jalepenos (which comes with ranch and pickled jalapenos). There's sparse seating outdoors (like for about 3 parties), and not all of it is shaded. Most people took theirs to go. It's also summer in the ATL, so lots of bugs outside if you sit down. My only gripe was that is took a realllly long time for it to come out. Probably 6-7 other parties had come and gone. When I went up to the window to ask about it, I think the pizza had been ready for some time, but it was sitting atop a shelf or fridge and they had forgotten. Taste-wise, I loved it! The crust is the best part, it's just so crispy! Their homemade ranch sauce is also super good. Value-wise, I was a bit taken aback to pay $40 for a pizza and one bottle of coke, including tip, but it's a large pizza (maybe around 20 inches?)! Think costco-sized slices. And for 2 people we definitely had leftovers. And of course, it's the beltline so you pay beltline prices. Would definitely come again, but next time I think I'll just get some slices to go rather than a whole pizza and I'll take it walking on the beltline. read more

Stopped in after a late meeting to grab a few slices. The woman ahead of me asked to purchase a bottle of ranch and I'm thinking she's just one of those ranch freaks that drenches everything in it. They don't seal their boxes. How hard is it to sticker them shut? Giant box is sent with these 3rd party delivery apps, easily accessible to the driver who can tamper with the food, cough on it if they are disgruntled, eat off it... This is one of those moments where I devoured my food too quick for pictures. A friend recommended this place because our toddler wanted pizza. And it was a hit for everyone! The kid and the adults loved it. I planned to order two slices but the cashier mentioned their daily specials and the Sweet Heat caught my attention. So I decided to order one of those and a cheese slice. Let me tell you, ordering the sweet heat slice was the best decision I made all day! Ive heard ppl talking about Glide for awhile and was glad to finally try it recently. It is as others mentioned a very solid, tasty slice. It's not quite as thin as you might expect for NYC pizza but cheese is good. It's on the saltier end so I found myself drinking lots of water later. I had recently gone back to Anticos and probably still prefer it or Nina and Raffi's nearby but given all of the top Atl pizza places this place is up there. It's also a different feel and business model than those other places with the small ordering window and limited seating nearby. Price is what you'd expect around the Beltline and service was prompt. This is a very small local spot, but I got recommended it during the Summer so I had to check it out. I went in not expecting much, because being in Atlanta, I haven't had the best pizza prior. My preference is New York style with a nice crisp and solid flavor, and this pizza hit the spot perfectly. Got a few slices and took it out to the benches outside, and it was a great experience. It's national pizza day and I dreamt about pizza so I took it as a sign to get some. Been hearing a ton about this place so decided to check it out. Bummed they're only open from 5-9 on weekdays. This place is hard to spot and google maps sucks. I had to circle around to get back. There's a small lot for parking. It fills up quick. Theres no seating, more like a order at the walk up window, stand around and leave place. They are quick with the slices. I got one garlic slice and one cheese slice. The slices were big and thin slices. The crust was pretty chewy. The garlic one was my favorite. I loved the garlic throughout the pizza and it was oh so cheesy. The cheese one was okay. A bit lackluster. I sat in my car and ate the first slice and I was still hungry and while driving home I reached for the second. It does not taste as good cold. I had two slices and I'm still left hungry. The slices are not filling. There's nothing special about this place. It's not bad pizza but it's not anything like omg this place is a must. Is it worth the drive for OTP-ers? In my opinion, nope. Would I come back? Only if I was in the area or I wanted some pizza and this place was on the way. read more

Glide is located just off the Beltline at the old 04W location in the Irwin Street Market. They offer both slices and whole pies. Probably their best known slice is the Garlic pizza. It's a great tasting, unique pizza. Slices have a nice crisp taste to them. You are at the mercy of the length of the ordering line as there is not a phone # to call ahead. The best NY slice I've tried in Atlanta! I'm a big white pizza lover, "the garlic" hit every note I hoped for. The pepperoni was classic, their crust is the perfect carrier for the flavorful sauce/cheese/toppings. I was surprised by the Homegrown.
