So the restaurant itself is a window so you actually may miss it if you don't know what you're looking for. They do happen to have signs of that same but it's not like it's his own standalone building. Along the driveway where the window is located you'll find a row of tables put together to make one long bench in order to have places to sit. I'm not even sure if there really is but inside, I haven't been on the inside but I know that they promote picking up slices to go. Getting to the window, everything was good when it came to interacting with the people at the register. The lady will help me with super helpful and useful and described everything that needed to be described when it came to the pizzas and the differences. So I would say that there was good service! For the pizzas I got a pepperoni, a garlic, and a 3000. I feel like if you mess up pepperoni, then that's going to be an issue so I had to try that because that's a basic Pizza. The garlic look really good in the reviews so I had to give it a shot! And a 3000, I guess it's like a little bit of a supreme. I'm not really sure but whatever LOL it was still good. Actually all the pieces were good! I think that's a 3000 wasn't the best, it was okay, but it was the least of the three. Maybe it's because it wasn't necessarily the hottest or freshest one, but it was just okay. The pepperoni had a lot of pepperonis on it and it was still greasy and hot. The garlic, tasted like all the good things of garlic and butter in one slice. I would go back for those two for sure. read more

TL;DR: GREAT pizza, but when I am left with the crust that I want to eat, my jaw gets sore from chewing it haha Arrival: it's best to walk here from the beltline or park on the street behind it. The parking lot and street in front is not the place you want to get stuck. There are always a bunch of cars parked on both sides causing major blockage of cars leaving the paid parking lot, so don't do it!! Walking up the stairs from the beltline you will also see some spots to sit by the steps. Service: they're always friendly and casual. Sometimes they run out of certain pizzas early in the evening. Food: I think i've tried every type they have except for plain cheese and they were all great. I like that their creations aren't off the walls but are still different enough not to be boring. The pepp city is one of my favorites. They have a fair but limited selection of beer, sodas, and water for a humble pizza window. If you order slices they heat them up for you so you do have a wait a little. You can also order whole pizzas and if they're making those, they share the ovens with slices so you may have a bit of a wait but you can see them workin to get the food out ASAP. Ambiance: if you want to go on a casual fun date, grab a couple slices and eat there! it's right off the beltline and on weekend nights it's never too quiet and has a good energy. They do get pretty busy though. Overall: Glide is definitely a regular in my rotation and i'll never say no! read more

*FOOD* Best NYC style pizza I've had in Atlanta - same with my friend from NYC, which carries some weight! In Dave Portnoy terms, the pizza has minor flop, but had a great under carry and crunch. The pizza is thin but not soggy or too floppy, which is tough to find. I recommend getting a whole pie, so it's made for you fresh - and it's BIG (see hand photo for reference). I'm sure the slices are great but they're just warmed up. *AMBIANCE* This spot is tucked away right off of the Beltline and it's really quiet. They have a walk up window, and it was super quiet on a Friday night. Great quick and good food if you're popping off the Beltline for a casual bite. They have some bar top seating, and there are also some picnic tables in the area too. *PARKING* There is street parking right next to the restaurant, but if you have to pay to park it's $10 minimum for 2 hours. Great location though so if you have to pay for 2 hours, there's plenty to walk to see - or even an ice cream spot right down some stairs! read more

This evening, I was craving pizza. I wanted to find a good NY style pizza, and despite having lived in Atlanta for going on 7 years, I didn't have a go-to spot. I decided to consult Yelp and Google to help me find the restaurant I was searching for. Both brought me to Glide! I found it difficult and concerning that I couldn't find a phone number, but decided to place a pickup order on their website anyway. When we made it to the location, I spotted the sign and hopped out of the passenger seat while my boyfriend pulled the car back around. I walked up to the window and told the worker behind the counter about my order, gave him my name, and he handed me my box and bags, one with my drinks and the other with our salad. He was friendly and quick, which made for an easy process. As for the ambiance, I didn't pay much attention. From where I stood, all I could see was the kitchen workspace through the little takeout window. After the food handoff, I got into my car and we headed home to enjoy. The pizza is HUGE--a 20" box of goodness! Which is great because my 6'3 boyfriend can EAT. We decided on the classic cheese pizza, as well as the arugula salad. All pizzas come with a side of their ranch that's made in house as well as a side of pickled hot peppers. Those pepper pack some heat, and they're great when combined with the ranch. I put a little of both on my pizza, which was amazing. I'm not usually the biggest ranch fan, but the house-made ranch from here is an exception. It's so good. The pizza was exactly what we were craving! Our healthy pairing of arugula salad was refreshing and tasty. It has fresh arugula with shaved fennel, seasonal fruit, toasted sunflower seeds, Gorgonzola, and house-made balsamic dressing. I cannot believe I waited this long to go to Glide. I have big regrets. Glide is located just off the beltline. We walked, but there is a paid guest parking lot out front. We got 4 slices for us: 2 The 3000, 1 Cheese, and 1 Supreme Slice. I also got a cup of their Housemade Pizza Ranch! First of all, I'm not the biggest ranch person with pizza, but heard so many people rave about the ranch and it was SO worth it. Definitely the best ranch I've ever had and it was so creamy and flavorful. The slices were HUGE and I love how the sell by the slice for a nice and easy lunch. The 3000 was the best of both worlds with red and white sauce and good amount of toppings. The 3000 could have done with a tad more salt to bring out the flavors. I had been craving pizza recently and wanted to try a new place, so we decided to check out Glide Pizza. They're located across the street from Krog street market, next to Jake's ice cream. They have a small parking lot, but it's free. I placed an order online for a 1/2 pepperoni and sausage and 1/2 garlic, pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza. It got a little pricey adding all of the toppings, but the pizza was huge. My order was ready at the exact time that was quoted. The pizza comes with their homemade ranch and jalapeños. They pizza was remarkably delicious! It's some of the best pizza that I've had in a very long time. AMAZING! I'm in Atlanta for the first time for two days, have had several very very bad experiences at restaurants, but most DEFINITELY not this place! First and foremost, the lady with the blonde hair that took our order was unbelievably nice. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The seating inside is very limited (only two booths) and they were both taken, but she made sure we had a place to sit. She grabbed stoles and made us a makeshift table so we could sit down and eat inside since it was raining. Aside from the great customer service and friendliness, the food is also amazing. We had the Caesar salad which was a nice starter. Basic Caesar salad with a twist with lemon juice and dill (very unique!) never tried a salad like that before. We also had the cheese pizza which was a very solid, thin pizza. Can never go wrong with the cheese pizza, if I'm ever back in Atlanta I will definitely be trying a few different slices. All in all I HIGHLY recommend giving glide a shot, I'm 99% sure you won't be disappointed in any aspect. Please keep up the great quality at glide! read more

racist establishment. this has been one of my FAVORITE pizza joints in Atlanta. i have been here countless times. today's experience was highly disappointing and unacceptable. i initially ordered 4 slices of pizza. 2 white slices and 2 pepperoni slices. i observed the 3 ladies sitting next to us enjoying big slices of pepperoni as we waited. and i remember saying "mmm that looks so good, i can't wait for ours." once we received our order our slices of pepperoni were noticeably WAY smaller than the guests next to us. my slice in particular was actually bigger than my girlfriends small slice. the white pizza slices were nothing but bread and parsley sprinkled on top. there was no cheese. so i took the slices back to the young lady working the register. she in turn got flustered and said "well what do you want?" i told her please just give me TWO cheese slices and TWO properly sliced pepperoni slices. about 10mins go by and my girlfriend returns to retrieve the remake slices and this is what we got.... slices of cheese pizza with nothing but bread & sauce. and burnt slices of pepperoni also with dough and sauce. i returned back to the counter to ask her if she was trying to be funny because at this point i feel like you're DELIBERATELY giving me half made pizza. i showed her the slices and showed her how there was little to no cheese and all sauce and she snatches my plates and throws them in the trash. i ask her to please just refund me for the pizza, i come here often and this is NOT the quality i have ever received. she of course then starts with the water works and claims she cannot give a refund and will need to call her manager Simon. she steps to the back for about 5-8mins and returns saying her manager will be here in 10mins from decatur to handle the situation. i have to work, i came here on my lunch break to enjoy a SIMPLE slice in the sun with my girlfriend. she and the chef in the kitchen were rude, disrespectful, spoke to another customer at the window about "beating my a**" and having his 4 sisters come handle it for them. all in all, either a refund or a remake of properly made slices would've sufficed. instead of disrespect, and lack of accountability from Glide staff. instead of apologizing all i got was "well we switch staff, if you don't like it go somewhere else." so now im out $21 plus tip. we have 2 slices of pizza left (that she didn't throw away) just to show what we received. these will also be going in the trash. and yes miss ma'am at Glide we will gladly take our business somewhere else, Solar Slice in Marietta is the BEST New York Style pizza. make sure you all give it a try! read more
