Angela is an incredible masseuse. She is sincere, knowledgeable, skilled and makes an effort to remember you. I've done one body dry brush and massage treatment and one 50 minute Swedish massage and both were lovely. The 2 hour treatment obviously takes the cake but the massage is so targeted and thorough. Angela is actively helping me learn to be more in tune with my body and where it holds tension and that is a huge development for me. The signature oil diffuser they have out at this location is delicious and immediately bathes you in calm when you enter. The front desk is always informational, helpful and prompt. The changing room, restroom, shower, lockers, and quiet room are in perfect condition and constantly being cleaned up and restocked. There are plenty amenities and products available for use in the changing room and a few snacks, a magazine, and cold water in the quiet room. You are treated with a tea or other beverage (never paid attention because I'm all for the tea but maybe a wine or a sparkling wine?) before and after your service. You receive 15% off your next session if you book again while checking out. There are seasonal specials and packages if you want to opt for more than one service as well. Oh, did I mention the massage beds are heated and they provide you a warm, weighted neck/shoulder wrap after your service? They've truly thought of everything. The staff are just as peaceful as the ambiance. The spa is located on the 3rd floor, right across from the gym so that is convenient. It looks small but it is not small on decor and ambience. Right away, I was greeted with a fresh scent and lovely greetings. They have lots of candles and lotions right there, on hand, in the front area. I went to inquire about the services and they gave me a tour, poured me water, and made me feel right at home. I decided on a massage and sauna time, just to try it out. The hideaway room was sooo inviting. I arrived early, they verified my registration to the hotel, then got me a locker. The locker had a locked locker prepared for me, with a robe and slippers inside. Yasssss!!!! for the win!!!! I looked over the "locker room", there I found hair brushes, mouthwash, q-tips, AND even makeup remover. Yes, ladies, makeup remover and lotion was on hand. What an attention to detail. There werw fresh towels throughout the spa so and everything was so fresh. I made my way to the "hideaway room", I was early so I hung out for about an hour and a half. It was what caught my attention in the first place. There was soft music playing as soon as I entered the spa, the lighting was very dim in the hideaway but still well lit. There was a nice aroma, I was relaxed for sure, no one bothered me. The massage was much needed. After my scheduled massage, I went into the sauna. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!! Fresh towels, temperature on the wall, water bucket for hot stones, etc. It was peaceful. But!!! it was the "cool off" area that made me smile. The cool off area had fresh ice water and cool towels. There was also fresh dry towels in this small area as well. I stayed in the sauna about two hours. I worked up quite a sweat, so luckily there was a shower. Of course, the shower was spacious and had everything I needed. Fresh towels that were warm and fluffy, soap, lotion, razors and shaving cream, and a blow dryer. The mirror in the bathroom had a rear mirror attached so I was able to do my hair there (plenty of outlets). I enjoyed this spa and I felt right at home. The staff was helpful and friendly but didn't bother me at all. If you want a tranquil and lovely experience visit the spa, I did everyday.

The week before my appointment, I reached out to the spa to request a specific massage therapist who was recommended (she's a female). The spa confirmed her availability and I booked a massage with her. My experience with the front desk and the spa itself was great- no complaints there. However, at the time of my massage, I was greeted by a male masseuse which caught me very off guard. When I asked him where the other masseuse is, as I had booked with her, he brought me back into the massage room and told me he'd go check with the front desk. When he came back, he told me that she called out sick. No offer of rescheduling. I was expected to proceed. This was never brought to my attention when I showed up over an hour before my appointment, and instead I was put in a really uncomfortable position receiving a massage from a male therapist. I was very underwhelmed with the massage itself and felt uncomfortable the entire time. I've made several calls to the spa to address this and haven't heard anything back. I live locally in Fort Worth and was exploring a potential Canyon Ranch membership, but this sealed the deal for me.
