First of all...yes everyone starts this way...but seriously I don't write too many yelp reviews. The reason I chose the location on FM 529 is because this is where I signed up "Matrix tanning sessions". I went in on a whim (because of the yelp reviews) and met Julia. She gave me a tour of the facility as well as explaining their spa services. I am going to Cabo San Lucas in a few days and wanted to maintain the tan that I already have. (I have been living in Africa, so already have a pretty great tan). Anyway, I purchased 5 sessions and was comped a session from Julia and then was able to tan that very day. The "Matrix" bed is the most powerful tanning bed they offer. I was able to do the full 12 minutes because I already have a great base. So today is day 4 for me and I found out that they had a location on FM1960 which is two stop lights away from the hotel I am staying at (only in town for a month). I also found a "free week unlimited services" from their website. You don't have to be a "first time customer" and you don't have to purchase a thing, you can try all their services for 1 week (the special ends in May, and you can do back to back services which is awesome). So I printed the coupon and went to FM1960 location where I met Tammy. Bubbly and super friendly, plus today is "good Friday" and she was super busy, BUT she took the time to explain the Hydration service and the "body wrap" service which can't be done back to back because of "dehydration" which I understand. I opted for the hydration and then for my Matrix tan. The hydration was fantastic, it actually makes your tanning a better experience as far as appearance is concerned and it leaves your skin so silky smooth. Loved it! A lot of times if someone has 2 locations one is better than the other, but NOT IN THIS CASE...both locations are fantastic (FM529 has more beds I think), but either location, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, clean facility and you will leave satisfied and happy. read more

I love this place. It has alllllll my favorite stuff. They have a hydration station that you can sit in for up to 30 minutes & sweat in. They have a body wrap system that you can do up to twice a week for an hour. It burns 1200-1400 calories per session. They also have the beauty angel which is amazing for cellulite, skin appearance, acne and more. They house my absolute favorite tanning bed ever, the matrix & also have a sauna that you can do hot yoga in. They have multiple yoga programs to choose from. As stated below, you do have to purchase a special mat and towel, but it is worth it compared to other yoga options in the area. I have the premier membership for $98 a month and I can do anything unlimited with it. Even the hot yoga. I was sooo excited when they told me this because I was expecting to have to pay addition for it, but nope. Also, it is always clean and the front desk staff is amazing. I signed up with Jennifer over a year ago, but she got moved to the 1960 location. Tammy and Michelle are amazing as well & super sweet! I tried many tanning salons in the area, I used to work at Darque Tan, and this salon just has absolutely everything, the best of all the beds and I just absolutely love it. read more

I've been going here for over 10 years and absolutely love this place! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially my favorite girl Julia! She's super sweet and very knowledgeable about every service they provide here. Steve, the owner, is pretty awesome too! He really cares about his customers and keeping them happy. Very clean relaxing salon, tanning beds are always updated with new bulbs. So many other spa services to choose from that I've tried as well, and love them all! Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended! Oh and if you're looking for a tanning lotion I suggest "Elusive" it's amazing. Smells good and shows color pretty quick. read more

Amazing tanning salon, I have been tanning for years and this place has the best spray tan beds with the best color. The ladies up front are very knowledgeable and help me with my goals of looking tan without being red. I used to tan at Darque Tan for years and once I came to Solar Lounge I am hook, I love the beds, spray tan color and Customer service. This place is wonderful! The staff is friendly, they greet you by name and always with a smile. They will answer any questions and show you the equipment. The salon is very nice! They have a lot of the more high end tanning beds and the prices are surprisingly low!! I bought the plan that comes with four of the body wrap sessions, all of the tanning beds and the spray tan. I've tanned at almost every salon and this one is the cleanest! I love it!!! read more

I have been to all of the best tanning salons : EZ TAN, Darque Tan, Planet Beach name it. Solar Lounge has the largest variety of big beds I have ever seen!!!
