FYI to everyone buying a Groupon for Planet Beach. It does not say anywhere on the Groupon that spray tan is unavailable. It does not say anywhere on the Groupon that you have to buy some teeth whitening package before you can get the teeth whitening service with the Groupon. No I've never actually been to planet Beach and was planning on trying It with the Groupon that I purchased, Or at least I thought I was. Now a Member!!! Thank you to the 49yr old lady I met at the TAPIOKA Place. Her body and skin left my jaw on the floor! I can now enjoy this spa 7days a week if I wanted to. Realistic, ummmm...3-4days a week since it's 2mins from my home! They have EVERYTHING in this place: Cellulite Reduction, Relaxation, Sunless Tanning, Red Fusion, Fit body wraps, Teeth whiting, Private Yoga Sauna and my favorite are the variety of machines available for burning calories from 500-1,000 each session! These slim capsule machines are not only for inches lost but cellulite reduction, collagen production, inflammation & detoxification! I am absolutely in awe of this place! Best place to sit down, relax, detox, and tan -all in one! All the ladies that work there are so very nice and helpful, they get your room ready for you, set the machines up and all you have to do it relax and enjoy....they even add a complimentary glass of cucumber/lemon water, or what i prefer, wine! =) So happy i became a member! read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! The spa part is fantastic, the owner is a terrible! I went to cancel my policy at the first part of June and was told that I would either have to pay two months up from, or could just pay my monthly premium for 2 more months until the cancellation could be effective. I opted for the monthly payment and was told I could still utilize the gym until August and the girl I cancelled with (which no longer works there, imagine that) would put a note in my profile so the payments would stop. I had not used the gym since July, and noticed in November I was still being charged a monthly fee. I had a total of $240 taken from my account that should have been. I called and spoke with one of the employees (who is super sweet) and she apologized and said she would speak with the owner. She called me back and told me the owner said she would waive the fee (which I already paid) and go ahead and get it cancelled. All I would have to do is come in and sign the cancellation agreement. I asked about a refund and was told the owner will not refund any of my money (even though she agreed that yes, it was a mess up on their part). I asked for the owner to call me and if course, she never did! Even after I came in to sign the cancellation agreement and reminded the front desk lady to have her call me. I had all intentions of starting my policy again after the first of the year because I'm currently planning/paying for my own wedding, but I will never do business here again and would never recommend this place to anyone. It is sad when the owners employees have to apologize for her because even they know it's wrong. read more

This place is great. The girls are so professional and friendly and the services are cool. I had no idea about all the benefits of the services and the whole staff was very helpful on educating me on everything. My skin felt great and after the massage and oxygen I was so relaxed. I would recommend this location to anyone. You should do your research on red light therapy and infrared heat because it works wonders. read more

Absolute worst experience at a tanning salon!! The girls working the front desk made an error and essentially accused me of being a thief and demanded I pay over 10x the original price. In January 2017 I decided to buy a package of a few tans. December 2017 rolled around and I came back hoping to buy the same package (5 tanning sessions for $25). The girl working the counter informed me that there was no such deal (though I had previously purchased it) and offered me sessions at $30 (yes, $30) PER TAN!! In over ten years of tanning, I've NEVER been quoted such a outrageously high price for a low level bed. I mentioned my previous experience, the girl looked my name up in the computer and told me I had 5 sessions remaining. I asked how this was possible since I'd used my previous sessions in January and she told me that she wasn't sure but I had 5 sessions in the system and was free to use them. I came in throughout the next week and used four of the five sessions. Each time I gave my name and was given the go-ahead to tan by the girl at the front desk. After my fourth session, as I was leaving, the salesgirl came up to me and demanded I "pay for my tans" I told her that I'd been told I had 5 sessions and was on #4. She then told me that someone had made a mistake and I needed to pay for all the tans at the new, higher price. I had popped in to tan after the gym without my wallet on me, since I was under the assumption the tans were already paid for as I had been told and this is what I had been doing all week, and the girl working the desk told me I needed to pay that instant. The girl then accused me of trying to leave without paying and demanded to know exactly when I would be returning. She said that even though THEY had made the mistake, I needed to pay the new, much higher price for the tanning session. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal over their mistake and I certainly don't appreciate being charged an insane price after the fact. I feel totally scammed. When I opted not to buy tanning sessions at $30 I was essentially conned into tanning 4 times (under the assumption that I had already purchased the tans) and then forced to cough up an insane amount. I won't be returning and don't suggest anyone come here unless they want to be tricked into paying a ridiculous amount for tanning. read more
