Hi- visited the salon on 02/28/2026 and were treated very poorly by the girl that was working with blond and black hair and make up that was way too heavy- anyway we had an email for one "choose any service free- once every 365 days" - she asked if we have been there- my daughter stated a few years ago- she then stated she wasn't going to honor our coupon due to being there before- even though we showed the email that states can be used once every 365 days- she then stated my daughter could use a regular bed- we left due to the horrible customer service- left and went to the Bella Terra location where Emily was more than happy to help us get our free spray tans and stated that we COULD use our coupon thats honorable once every 365 days- I wouldn't go to this sugarland location if you are looking for a place to tan- nobody deserves that kind of treatment- Emily needs a raise and maybe she could train this location how to act like adults- do better sugarland! I'll make sure to let the owner know how we have been treated as well- along with anyone higher up. I have been a member which costs me $120 a month for 6 months, this membership allows me to use all tanning beds. The personnel are always friendly, however, some are definitely better than others. Taylor is one that is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She really understands the beds, the plans, and the spa type treatments they have added like red-light and sauna. My gripe is that after being a 6 month member and paying $120 I found out a few things when I upgraded today to include the sauna / redlight options. 1. THEY WENT DOWN ON MY PACKAGE PRICE FOR NEW MEMBERS TO $99 BUT KEPT CHARGING ME $120; 2. WHEN I UPGRADED TODAY MANAGEMENT (NOT TAYLOR) STILL MADE ME PAY A SIGN UP FEE WHEN I ALREADY PAID THIS 6 MONTHS AGO. I FEEL THAT THIS MANAGEMENT IS MILKING THEIR GOOD LONG-TERM CLIENTS. read more

Daniel Craig comes here so we call him PALM BEACH DAN Eminem has a crazy fan here, it's PALM BEACH STAN I took nudes of myself thereby risking a PALM BEACH BAN But when I wanna be Brown AF then I come to PALM BEACH TAN WHAT This is the Palm Beach Tan in Sugar Land, and while I used to kinda like this location as a Darque Tan, and my first few visits as PBT, they were very rude to me last time, and I was pretty disappointed. The bed itself was fine and the whole salon is big and fancy and clean. It's basically a 5 star salon with 1 star service (the last couple of times). I remember giving this location five stars before when it was DT because it was such a nice salon to use. But having said all of that, the woman working here was not friendly at all. In fact she was really hostile. What happened is that I instinctively told her that she didn't need to clean the bed before I used it (which I always tell them), and I always say that because I want to save them some work and save myself some time, as a friendly thing. Of course I wasn't thinking straight because in the Corona world that would be impossible. She could have just ignored me or she could have explained why she had to clean it anyway, she could have laughed and taken it as a joke or she could have even been half nice about it. Instead she genuinely scolded me. Gave me the third degree. Hardcore acted really annoyed about what I had said. Was visibly angry and wouldn't let it go. That in turn really annoyed me. So for this reason I have to lower it from the five stars that I would have given it to a three star rating. Then I got some trouble after posting the review which led me to lower it even further. They should learn some customer service skills. Poor service and misinformation was given on each visit. I would not recommend this tanning salon.

I got a spray tan last night at 7 PM with the sungate. The ladies at the front told me the versa was "down" (they just didn't want to clean it). I used the sungate and it was the worst spray ever. Only tanned my top half. I went in this morning, showed the rep my spray who completely agreed with me on how poorly my spray tan came out and asked if I could re-spray. The very sweet rep working called her manager. Her manager declined my request because I didn't buy the extra add-ons to my spray tan to give them more money. So basically, because I didn't buy the extra "add-ons", the spray booth itself worked poorly? Not sure how that works. Very poor experience. read more

I called in a few days ago asking about purchasing a spray tan and was told they were on sale for $20 and there was a limit of two but needed to purchase it before Saturday. When I called in today (Saturday) to purchase they said I could only do it in person as a walk in and have to get treated then. While I was asking you here someone blurt out "No!", as if I was on speaker. I find this business very unprofessional and dishonest. I forgot why I had stopped coming here. I remember why now. I wrote a review (which I can't locate on this site) about how I was treated by one particular employee. Literally the very next day I received a call on how they can fix the problem. I didn't enjoy tanning at all, but it was the only tanning salon near my office. Well let me tell you what.. Ms. Summer from corporate called me to see how they can help me enjoy going tanning sessions. MS. SUMMER you're awesome. I love enjoy going and seeing happy faces. These girls were so intimidated by that one employee is was sad to watch. This place honors what they say and what they do. Thank you so much. I get a great tan every time. read more

Deliberate deception! Palm Beach Tan is not a place to do business with! They sell packages tell you there is NO expiration date and than tell you your package expired. I was a loyal customer for years when the business was a different brand..Palm Beach is not a company to do business with. read more

This salon is better than its competitors but could be better. It's great that it has so many beds but only having 1 Alpha is a major turn off. I've called head to schedule and still had to wait 30-40 minutes to get in. It seems like this company doesn't care about their employees because I've noticed a lot of new faces in the span of a few months. Would like to see a better spray tan system, the current leaves you splotchy. The salon is cleaning and staff are typically well trained. read more

I've been coming here for months. 90% of this time this location. I came today it took the girl 20 minutes to get me checked out. They said i don't have a card on file but i do. I came last week and i did have a card on file. I will from now on be going to other locations. This location is a joke. Also palm beach never charged my card this month for membership NEVER EVEN TRIED. and they upped the price to 75 this month instead of 64. First of all, I was thankful to find a tanning location close by that was still open. I understand why these places are closing down (skin cancer) but I just wanted a spray tan done in a booth not by a person. Anyway, upon arriving the first girl that helped me was pretty friendly and helpful. She said she was about to leave, but I was all set in the versa spa and to head to my room. I got undressed, took off all my jewelry, put my hair net thing on and blocker on, etc -lol, it's a process. Then, I proceeded to hit the start button and get the show on the road-BUT the machine would not start. Talk about annoying, grr. I had to reverse everything I just did-get dressed and head to the front desk. Already a bit annoyed, I get to the front desk and no one is there. The place is like a ghost town-no customers and the one worker who was supposed to be there still was not. I literally wandered around the salon for over 5 mins yelling "hello" over and over. Finally, the employer popped out of a doorway, I explained the situation, and she went to check the versa machine. She didn't know what was wrong-so without consulting me she mixed me up a mystic tan solution and put me in that machine. It was fine because I was in a hurry-but feel like the proper thing to do would have been discuss options with me (offer me a mystic or a refund). Anyway, I did get color-but it felt orangey and only lasted a few days :( Not worth $35 IMO. Was really hoping this was a good experience because I was considering signing up for the monthly spray tan package :( read more

I had a similar type experience there where the bed wouldn't start and employees had disappeared. Had to get redressed and wait around. Finally someone strolled out of the back. A few weeks later my boyfriend was there and had to wait 30 mins for his bed and other customers to get checked in, then when they finally got to him they didn't clean the bed. When he complained they "rolled" their eyes at him and did a half a$&ed job. They lost two customers that day, for good. Very poorly staffed and not clean. read more
