Where to begin. Won't go into all of the details, but suffice it to say that I would stay clear of this company. When Gary learned I was getting another quote from Roads Paving, he went off in a text to me. Accused me of telling someone at his company we had a deal when I didn't. Complained about "driving all the way up from Olympia, out of a 'courtesy' to me." Told me "we are off the team (!) you are not the kind of guy we want to do business with, good luck with your project and the other guy... wow!" This, and more was in a series of four back to back texts. I would recommend you steer clear of Gary and Global Paving. After 35 years in sales I knew how to handle rejection...... after a "no" I ALWAYS left the door open. Gary slammed it shut with a resounding thud. read more

I signed an estimate and submitted it to them on May 24th. I was contacted to acknowledge receipt of the signed estimate and I would be contacted to set up a time for my asphalt and driveway job. I reached out several times to check and was advised each time that someone would reach out to me to schedule. Well, here we are 3 and a half months later and I called and emailed again. I did get a response: 'Sorry, but we are really busy. You should get another contractor because we don't think we can fit you in anytime soon.' We couldn't start the job when I first signed because of the cool weather and rain we were having. Now, Summer is winding down and you can't fit me in? Thanks for the prompt customer service. Great fast workers. I had them pave a gravel area inside of a gated yard. They did a great job removing the vegetation and excavating the area without hitting the garage, fence, house, or electrical lines that I had in the nearby area. They offered me some suggestions as to how close I should go to nearby obstacles and told me how to take care of the new paving site. read more

I would definitely not recommend this company. They worked so fast on our driveway, I'm guessing to fit in another job. They ran into a large rhododendron and damaged it in 3 places , damaged the side of our garage in two different places, and did a measurement wrong where blacktop was supposed to end. Also ran into our fence and broke two feet of the fence. We withheld a small amount of the payment, thank goodness, and they said they would come back to fix things. We never heard from them again. I guess they figured it was cheaper to leave the money and run rather than fix the mistakes. One nice worker stayed to fix the garage damage, but I had to do the painting the next day. We decided to keep the money and fix what we could take care of ourselves. We're hoping our 8 foot rhody survives. read more

They don't do what they say and blame you as the customer! Suppose to start a job. They Didn't start it blamed our employees. Called to talk to estimator and get to the bottom of what happened. He didn't care about it said we had 15 seconds to decide if we are going to use them or not! I said f... this I am a customer and was told F. U! I am just saying we simple asked a question and wanted clarification! They are to much on a high horse because they do 50 McDonald's a year. So if your not a McDonald franchise beware! read more

Global Paving: Potential customers beware, after getting our signed and accepted bid completed, we were scheduled for the residential asphalt paving job. After waiting 2+ weeks for that day to arrive, I left work 3 hours early and went to my residence. After meeting with the foreman and walking through the details of the job, I thought we were good to go. Next minute literally, the foreman tells me the "Boss/Owner" *(Turns out that "Cliff" is not the owner) does not want to do this job and he the "Boss/Owner" had sent his foreman over to give me the news as he was attempting to drive away! Hold on a minute, is what I said, whistled and flagged him down to come talk to me, the customer? He storms up to me obviously upset and starts his diatribe, about how this job was underbid, and "this is the third time!" adding, "I can loose money sitting at home!" I was a bit surprised that he was so upset and that I was paying for it. While I can understand his take on this as a business owner, as the customer, I had no control over what his representative who came out and went through the entire job in detail with my wife quoted. As the "Owner" I would assume he would review his outgoing bids rather than storm off the day of the work. No offer of compromise, no attempt to work this out with the customer, none whatsoever, truly amazing, the epitome of customer service? Not really. I will hire someone else. *(Follow-up: "Gary" actually called me back, apologized and after making no proposal for how to fix it, decided to threaten me.) We hired Global Paving to pave our driveway in Sept 2018. They guarantee their work for 1 year. In August 2019, we noticed a crack developing in the driveway, we suspect a tree root. We called them to take a look at it, and they said they would call us back. We call back, they say they will call us back. This happens a total of at least 4 times, over several weeks. No one will schedule us. I'm wondering if they are trying to run the clock on the year guarantee? read more

Global Paving repaved our asphalt driveway and did a great job! Donnie showed up on time as scheduled to review our project and give us a quote, and he and the crew showed up on time and as scheduled to do the job. They provided good insight and helped us make decisions regarding options. They were all very nice, helpful and professional and the driveway looks fantastic. We would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them without hesitation. read more

Horrible, the asphalt close to 2 garage doors and house slants back to house. Hard rain, water will go into garage. Called Jose twice, attempted to fix. Not fixed. Upset, was I taken advantage being a senior women? Lots of money down the drain. read more

I called to have an estimate done for my driveway and the person never showed up. Called them to see if they were running late and was told that their guy already was at my house and no one responded when he knocked at the door. The person at the office said that she would call the guy and she if we can reschedule for him to come back out and that she would call me back. I had to call them back myself and was then told that the roadway to get into our driveway was to busy and that they would have to hire flaggers to direct traffic and that it would be to expensive for us to afford that and that they recommend us calling someone else to do it. First off I was outside playing with my son at the time that the guy claimed he was at my house and if he was actually there we would have seen him. Second of all how would you know what someone can afford or not afford. I would not have given them any stars but I had to choose something. read more
