Daniel came to fix my LG washer dryer all-in-one that he actually fixed 3 years ago. By my own fault, I had a sweater disintegrate in the unit and it clogged up the whole machine with lint so it broke down. They had me in the system from 3 years ago and got me an appointment the following week. Daniel knew right away that it needed a new pump, told me it would arrive in 3 days and scheduled me for 3 days later. I got it all fixed before I left for vacation. Prices are extremely fair and he saved me about $1500 (which is what it would have cost to replace it)!! Daniel was so knowledgeable and punctual as well. Both times, he came at the time promised and texted me before arriving. I even told him I would be in meetings while he was fixing it and he told me to leave a check for him so he didn't disturb me while I was on my work call. I'm absolutely baffled by how there are so many good reviews. My experience was I feel absolutely robbed by this company. I needed my dryer to be checked. It works ok-ish, just during the cycle it would stop and start itself often. Thought I should just get it checked. On the phone they told me just a visit would be a little over $100 + money for extra parts, I agreed. Technician comes, replaced a part, and then tells me the total will be $580+$51tax + 3.5% transaction fee if I paid by card. So total = $654 (because who just has $600 worth of cash on hand?) There is absolutely no way that one part was $500. And the fact he came with the part ready to service, seems like was ready to scam. He did then tell me where to clean and helped me clean things up. But total time at my place was less than 1h. The worst part is the issue wasn't even resolved. My dryer still sometimes starts & stop in the middle of the cycle. So I called them again saying the problem wasn't fixed and since it was under warranty the tech came again. He then told me that's just how my dryer is - it's just not a really good model. Ok, then if that's the case why'd you need to replace a part and charge me $650? If there was nothing wrong in the first place. For $650 I should've just bought a new dryer. There is absolutely no transparency in their pricing. Im shocked there are so many good reviews. Please be aware and ask for pricing BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE. Or just avoid them and save your wallet. The only positive for this co was they were good about dealing with COIs. read more

Fixed Fridgedaire ProSeries oven in 2021. Replaced ignitor. Charged $600, under one hour - Generic Part = $25. Difficulty = Changing lightbulb. Part failed Feb 2023. I posted Google review. Technician Ben called me, said he did the original repair & offered to make good, but only after I "took down" review. He said he remembered working on the oven, and offered to come over but said I should call office for appt. Office said his name was Alex (phone ID says "Ben"). Later I got a text from "Daniel", who said he himself had performed the fix 2 years ago (the ID again said "Ben") Response from the owner 5 days ago "Hi, We do not charge 600$ for ignition replacement and it also shouldn't malfunction after 2 years, we need to check our records and see if you have the right company, Please call us at 212-300-2875 and we will do our best to assist you." I called back to set appt. By text, Daniel (Owner, Chief Technician) said I must first take down review ... He called me "rude & unpleasant," said he would not help, I should call another company. Blocked me on phone. To be clear, I just found my bill for the "fix" - it says $583.13. It says he replaced 2 ignitors. Only one was broken and he only replaced one. One hour of labor + OEM part listed at $80; my lawyer does not get $500 per hour. So much for "we do not charge 600$ for ignition replacement and it also shouldn't malfunction after 2 years." Beyond dishonest, these people are aggressive & very scary. Reluctant to give receipt for their work... I insisted, and what was finally given to me has no company address or phone number, "Global Solutions" handwritten on top. When asked, they give fake names. Daniel (Owner, Chief Technician) especially so. They will overcharge & give bad advice - "Getting a new machine costs thousands - we are cheaper." Avoid. However, when it came time for them to sort out the COI, I was met with a frustrating experience. After a few rounds of back and forth on getting a correct COI with my property management, they declared they would be "unable" to proceed further. This resulted in several days wasted on my end. I have used Global Solutions on two separate occasions-once for my washing machine and two years later for my drier. The clothes washing machine was broken and unable to be repaired. While I was disappointed it could not be fixed and I had to pay the small fee for the technician to come, I could tell that he really knew what he was doing and I trusted what he said. When my drier stopped working efficiently a few years later I contacted them again. He performed impeccable work, with great integrity. I found Global Solutions here on yelp. The shop responded to my quote request quickly and sent a technician over to check out the issue with the washing machine. I paid a fee for the initial visit (the fee would contribute toward the final repair after required parts were ordered). After the first visit and I've agreed on actual repair, the technician ordered new belts and came a few days later replace them. The total cost was reasonable (not cheap) and I paid with personal checks (because I would pay 3% extra charge if pay by credit card). read more
