Hensley our bartender was phenomenal and great service! It's great when I travel around and nice people are part of your day! The bar is beau tile and the cattle skulls made in Bali! The food was delish. I got the Cuban Fried Porkchop hoagie!! I loved the local recipes and very crisp. Fries OMG the flavor! If you ever come through Auburn this is a stop!! Salute!!

I started off with the Moon Over Madagascar, and let me tell you--if this drink had a fan club, I'd be president. The black tea and vanilla combo sounded like a weird dare at first, but it ended up being shockingly amazing. Whoever came up with that mix deserves a bonus and maybe a parade. Now, let's talk about the shrimp and grits, because these were not just "good." These were "call your mama and tell her you've tasted greatness" good. The chef is from South Carolina, and you can taste every bit of Lowcountry pride in that bowl. Perfectly cooked grits? Check. Pile of blackened shrimp? Double check. A sauce that made me rethink my entire life? Oh yeah. If they sold that sauce by the gallon, I'd be bankrupt but extremely happy. Erica, our waitress, was an absolute rockstar. Super helpful, incredibly informative, and somehow managed to keep the perfect balance of friendly and professional--even on the Sunday after the Iron Bowl, when half of Auburn is stress-eating. The place was spotless too, which is impressive considering the emotional damage that game causes every year. Bottom line: The Hound is a must-visit. Come hungry, order boldly, and thank me later.

The menu had more drink options than actual food options. It was very chicken, burger, and salad heavy so not too much variation. Literally your choices were either a burger or a sandwich. I opted for the chicken ranch rap with a side of tater tots which was actually really good. I recommend getting ranch on the side as well too because the wrap was a little dry but not unbearable. The tater tots were delicious though. Lovely view of the greenery and decent service as well

Great staff, good food and convenient for golfers! This is…read morelocated in the heart of Callaway Gardens. It is in the building with the golf shop right next to the place where you start your golfing adventure. It is just to the west of Mr Cason's Garden. You have to pay to get into the park and you need a key card to get into the parking lot unless you walk. We were visiting the gardens and decided to rent a golfcart for a day. This location is where you pick them up and return them so we decided to get a bite to eat. That is how we found Champion's Grille. It was a little space next to the pro shop. There are a few tables inside and some outside. The one person manning the counter was very nice. The menu is pretty basic but they have the essentials of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wings, wraps, burgers, fries and drinks. We ordered and got our burger and french fries very quickly. The burger was good although I was not a fan of the fries. The sandwiches and burgers were $15-$20 so it is a little more expensive than local but it was good. Overall, it is a nice place to get a bite in the middle of the gardens or before or after your golf game. Enjoy.
