Dr. Surrey got us results the first time all while monitoring me from LA--he knows what he is doing. I went to another clinic in Tennessee, before being referred here by a friend who got also got results the first time, where, I believe, the first clinic was "conservative" with my treatment to get more egg retrievals out of me--there, I did multiple egg retrievals with no embryos; SCRC did not do that. While I did go through multiple cycles, if my levels weren't where they needed to be, we stopped; Dr. Surrey didn't even attempt an egg retrieval until I was ready. We only did one transfer because it was successful the first time. The staff was amazing as well as the team and the surgery center team. A ten out of ten experience. We will be back to transfer our additional two embryos. Hoping we're as lucky with those as we were the first time.

The facilities are clean (although slightly impersonal) but are very modernized. Highly highly recommend Dr. Brower and her clinical team. From a billing perspective, we were very pleased. We were provided an up front cost that was accurate and billed promptly (less than 1 month post procedure) for the same amount. We had a bad experience at our previous clinic with misbillings so this was a welcomed relief. The only small negative is the parking in the building is extremely expensive, so we often parked on the other side of San Vicente to save money. Dr DeUgarte saved my life…read more Did I get your attention? Good. It's the truth. I met Dr D in 2014 when I decided to freeze my eggs. I was 36, single, and not even sure if I wanted kids, but I wanted the option to have them if Mr Right ever showed up. She was so compassionate, funny, down to earth and kind that I continued to see her for regular exams. Her all-female staff and spa-like exam rooms turn what is usually an uncomfortable doctor visit into a welcoming, supportive environment. At 38, I casually mentioned a dull, numb pain in my right breast. Even though I was two years away from the recommended age of mammograms and had no family history of breast cancer, Dr D sent me to get a mammogram. Two months after my wedding (Mr Right DID show up!), I was diagnosed with HER2+ Stage 2 breast cancer. Dr D not only called me lot tell me herself, but she told me that she'd already called the top breast cancer surgeon at UCLA and gotten me an appointment for the next day - on the surgeon's day off. Additionally, she'd already told the surgeon that she wanted to do an additional egg retrieval/embryo preservation before I started treatment. I got the news that I had cancer on Tuesday and I started my retrieval meds that Friday. Dr D also reached out on my behalf to non-profits that aid breast cancer patients with the high cost of fertility treatments since my insurance wouldn't cover any of it. For years, Dr D walked alongside me, supporting my women's health needs as well as my spirits. Of course, she used the most recent data from the scientific fertility world as well. When the time came to face the reality that my body just had been through too much and that we could only have a baby via surrogate, she was caring, nurturing and honest.
