I am on Medicare which grants me 2 full heavy duty cleanings a year threw my ins. The owner came to my home to price the job. I had cked out the reviews prior to her coming and thought I would give this woman a try. BIG MISTAKE!! RUN do not allow this woman or her workers to clean your home. I use to clean homes professionally. This woman is not a professional house cleaner. I have aids in my home and they do light cleaning and dusting. I do not need someone to durst. I have asthma. I need the dust removed from the wall behind the dresser. She does not clean behind dressers. She told me that you wash kitchen cabnets from the top to the bottom. If you clean kitchen cabinets this way you will get streaks that will never come out. She told me my ins would only pay to have one room cleaned. The last Cleaning company that came to clean from my ins. company wa scheduled for a little over a week. She (Gloria) wanted only to wash the inside windows. I said look that window is on a door.. and there are a whole lot of windows that run up the wheelchair ramp. I should not tell you how to do ur job. If I could give minus 10 stars I would. First after waiting 2 hours of the 3 hour window to get a quote they called and said they were running late and could come 2 1/2 hours later, that should have been my clue to not use them. We hired them to do a deep cleaning on my aunt's apartment as she had been away from it for 4 months. The 1 cleaner came, we expected more than 1 but ok. She didn't have the proper cleaning supplies. Not even sure vacuum cleaner! She worked hard BUT wasn't going to do the cabinets and refrigerator, the only thing she planned on doing was dusting and the floors. That is not a deep cleaning. So we added on those things. They wanted payment before she left, by a cash app. I didn't like that but said ok when they sebt me a statement bill which they sent. I paid on venmo and they texted me thsnking me for the payment. Since then they have sent me 4 bills saying payment overdue. I responded to all of them with proof of payment and said I wanted an apology for them Harrasing me for payment which had been paid. Crickets. Then they sent a letter to my sister again asking for payment. She responded as well and they apologized to her for their error. Today I got yet another text from them telling me they are concerned about lack of payment. And emailed my sister yet again for it. I told them I was doing this review and reporting them to the BBB. As they broke my aunt's vacuum by over stuffing it and didn't do a good job, (she didn't do the cabinets under the sink and for some reason but my aunts knife block in thr refrigerator) I would walk not run away from this service. Originally we had some miscommunications and I thought they cancelled on me without prior notice. But when they realized the problem, they not only apologized, but also offered compensation plan. As for their job, I have to say they are VERY professional. The carpet looks brand new now. I will definitely use them again next time. How does it take ten hours to clean an empty apartment? They honestly didn't do a great job and it was $1000, much more than the quoted $450. The cleaners also left food and dirty socks in the apartment. They didn't even clean the stove/oven or the cabinets that I explicitly requested. They also requested so many things like garbage bags and a swiffer. For $1000 you would think they would provide the cleaning supplies needed to do their job. read more

We worked with Gloria Cleaners only once, 2 years ago, when we moved into this apartment. They sent over a young woman who took over 8 hours to "clean" a 1 bedroom apartment, where she wandered from room to room spraying cleaner into the open air. She barely peeped a word, but wouldn't clean our bedroom. When I thought it was because she only spoke French, I called my mother in law who is fluent to translate. This young woman then proceeded to yell at my MIL on the phone, then insist we didn't tell her we also needed the bedroom cleaned. When I spoke to the woman who owns the company, she apologized and asked to speak directly to the cleaner, which then escalated into another French shouting match. It felt like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with this woman. When she left we paid the agreed upon amount plus a decent tip, since she did spend the day there. She acted annoyed that it wasn't more and tried to get more from me. Nope, over. I told the company owner what had happened, and she said she was very sorry, that if we wanted to book again she would come and make sure it was done correctly. I didn't want to deal with them anymore but said I wouldn't leave a bad review because I understand it's a small business. Cut to the past year. Text after text after text asking to rebook them, offering a discount for "valued customers", and treating me like a cold call. I have repeatedly sent STOP and CANCEL messages, and told them why I don't want them to contact me, but it keeps going. So they are a shady business with rude and incompetent staff who hire a marketing company that doesn't comply with cease and desist. They should be avoided. read more

I fully expect Yelp to hide this in the "not currently recommended" section (you can get a quote and make an appointment directly from the Yelp website, which suggests Yelp gets a cut), so if you find this, thank you! Tell your friends! Desperate for an emergency deep-cleaning, we ignored a lot of red flags, and that's our fault. But this sketchy, unreliable company will never get our business again. The company website is offline -- big red flag. Elsewhere on the web, it presents itself as a little operation run by a person named Gloria, but in practice booking is done by harried-sounding workers through some sort of boiler-room or remote-relay arrangement. Another red flag, but again, it was an emergency. We had a Friday appointment. Less than an hour before, the worker who set it up called to postpone by a day. OK, emergencies happen, but the company repeatedly called the original contact person (hundreds of miles away) despite being given the correct number for the worksite. Red flag. Throughout the process of quoting a price, the company rep referenced a "team" and "workers" multiple times. Imagine our surprise when a single worker showed up. She did a GREAT job. Too bad she works for this company. When the one and only cleaner had been on-site for a couple of hours, a new worker called (again, the original number, not the number at the jobsite) to discuss payment. Shouldn't this have been done after the quote was accepted? Yet another red flag. Let the buyer beware! This is a disorganized company that doesn't seem to treat its employees -- in the office or in the field -- very well. If you're trying to book a service remotely, you may continue to get calls even after you've provided a phone number for the actual location of the gig. The cleaning will be very good, but the process may not be worth the hassle. It wasn't for us. read more

Although my apartment wasn't really that dirty I figured I would give them a try. I found the super cleaning to be average and not a reasonable value. Recently moved into an apartment that had NOT been cleaned by the landlord between tenants. Every crevice was dusty, grout was gray, countertops sticky and cabinets/oven covered in *years* of grease. I found Gloria Cleaning via Google, saw the great reviews & signed up for a Sunday cleaning. I originally scheduled it for 11am, but they called me later in the day to ask if the cleaner can come around 9am. I said sure. The day came & I waited.....and waited....and waited. The cleaner showed up 2 1/2 hours late! What made things worse is that I called them 4 times to get status updates and each time, their rep said "oh, she'll be there in 30 minutes" only for another 45 minutes to pass. I understand that things happen & people can be late, but the fact that THEY requested to move the time up (which made me shift/reschedule other important things in my day) along with the utter lack of customer service etiquette to give me any updates without having to follow up myself left a bad taste in my mouth. If it wasn't for the time crunch I had, I would've canceled after the first 30 minutes of being late. As for the cleaning itself, I requested a deep clean & definitely didn't get that. Was my place cleaner than before? Sure. But I had to re-point out very clear things that I specifically asked for and even then, things were half done. For example, I asked for the cleaner to clean the window ledges and the bedroom. She ended up cleaning the window ledge...but left the dusty table in front of it untouched. What's the point of a deep clean service if I have to micro-manage EVERYTHING I asked for? This was a clear lack of attention to detail that I personally expect when I'm paying for a "deep clean." Not to mention that the cleaner showed up 2 1/2 late and then tried to leave an hour early. I definitely won't be using their service and I suggest you don't as well unless you.. 1. Don't have anything else going on in your day and can wait for an unknown amount of time for your cleaner to show up since they probably won't respect the given time window (or your time). 2.
