I was trying to coordinate getting the necessary referral, x-ray and documents needed to get my mother the care she needed after Dr.Uehara referred her Maui Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Even after explaining the criticality of our situation in which my mother has no capacity to do this by herself on the island, the staff in this office just kept putting up road blocks such as fill out this form, you can't pick up her x-rays, "admin fee"...You'll have a better time calling the IRS for help with your tax prep than dealing with these folks.

I had to change to another dentist as Yoneda Dental stopped taking Metlife PPO dental insurance…read more My new dentist reached out for my records/x rays and were told it would take some time and I needed to sign a release form. I went to Yoneda in person and the receptionist was franky unfriendly. I signed the form and hope they sent the records to my new dentist. Pity as they were so friendly and helpful until they were out of network for me.
