Okayyy, it's been YEARS since I've gone to an actual salon to get my hair done, that being said I was a little nervous to try something new, but I am soo glad I did! I had my hair cut by Gloria, and the results of my hair cut couldn't have been more satisfying! I had the ombré in it and my hair was so fried I just wanted all of it chopped off, surprisingly I didn't need as much as I thought I was going to need cut off and now my hair is so unbelievably healthy! I hate reviewing places but I had to. I went in for a balayage and I left very upset with the results. My hair had box dye in it previously and I knew what I was going in for but I did not expect for Gloria who did the balayage to let me walk out with so many different tones. I am so upset that I have my hair up 100% of the time. Not to mention the price increased so much so that did not help with my experience. Gloria had felt my hair previously and when i went it she said I didn't realize you had so much hair. She cut and blow dried me hair and I thought that was included but it was not and that was an additional $55 so I paid a total of $255. May 7, 2019 I had went to another hair stylist that had to correct what Gloria left my hair at because Gloria stated she couldn't do anything else or else it was going to damage to find out Gloria rushed the process. I was in at almost 9am with Gloria and left at 12pm. She did not use the proper foil method to lighten my hair which is why I had so many uneven tones, she did not apply more bleach if it was necessary to some areas and stuck me under the dryer at a high temperature. After I had posted my review Gloria called me explaining the same thing she had told me about the black hair dye in my hair. Yes, I understood that. I wasn't sure if she was offering me to go in and get a toner put into my hair or she felt obligated to do so I could remove my review ,like if the toner was going to help how uneven and horrible my hair was. I waited as long as I could to go lighter and I am happy I found my new hair stylist that corrected the horrendous job Gloria left me. Just because the place has almost 5 stars does not mean you are going to get the best quality work. read more

You can expect the salon to always be clean, short waits without appointments, with appointments they are always on time, friendly service, and great prices.I had never had anyone so a "up-do" or formal type hair style on me but for my big day I naturally went to Gloria! I got married on a Friday, my girls and i had to be out of the salon by 8 am. Gloria not only came in at 6:30 am to accommodate me but she had someone for each one of my girls. Gloria did exactly what i wanted something simple yet elegant. She had me out on time looking amazing! She help make my day special and my photos are beautiful. I never leave Yelp reviews but the bad service I experienced could save someone the time. I walked in with pictures of color and cut I wanted and was scheduled an appointment for the next day. I come in for the appointment and they told me they didn't look at the pictures correctly so they were not going to have time to do the service that day. I was rescheduled for the next weekend. Fast forward to the next weekend, they call 20 minutes before my appointment to "confirm" but I missed the call. I tried calling back twice but I got no answer and their voicemail was full. I still showed up 5 minuets before my appointment and when I get there they tell me they filled my appointment and they can help me two hours later. How does one cancel someone's appointment because the "thought you weren't coming" 20 minutes before the appointment time??? It's just not worth the hassle, there are better salons with better service and better prices. Save yourself the time. read more

Just got my hair done by Gloria, and all I have to say is SHE'S A MIRACLE WORKER! I wanted my natural hair color back, dark brown, and wanted for my hair to look healthy, and she gave me just that. I had highlights done 3 yrs. Ago, I've gone to other salons to see of they can get them out and all they did was dye it 1 solid color and a month later it would wash off. Since my roots were noticeable, She didn't dye my hair completely, she started about 3-4 inches off the roots, but first she matched the color of my roots and snip snip. He will always be honest if he knows something will ruin your hair. If you tell him to cut 2 inches, he will show you how much he will be cutting off and does not go scissor happy.
