    Rib-Eye salad

First time customer and now an ever long fan! Amazing customer service, very clean location and the food was insanely delicious! I had the salsa verde chilaquiles that rival any other restaurant hands down, the creamy refried beans took the plate over the top. My wife had the Ribeye Salad and she was drooling over it, I tried it and it was tangy and refreshing. I love their main restaurant Gloria's so I knew this location was not going to let me down!! I'll be back soon!!!

I thought it's just a random to-go place but turns out this place has one of the best burrito and DIY plate ever! The food is very flavorful here. The peas are well seasoned and not bland like most places. The meats are very good and flavorful. The burnt on the skin makes it has more dimension to the flavor too!

Food was amazing, very good quality definitely will be coming back also try the ice coffee de la jolla !!

I can't rave enough about this place! It's like the top tier chipotle Mexican version. Every item available is fresh and flavorful. The protein options are of great quality and the portion size is decent. I love that they have a good variety of traditional Mexican items such as nopales and rajas to add that makes it taste authentic yet healthy. We've tried the chicken, steak and shrimp and you really can't go wrong with any choice you choose. Now on to service, the moment you walk in you are greeted as family. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. Place might not look like a lot from the outside but don't let that stop you from discovering this little gem! Healthy and delicious option in HP, now that's a win.

Do you have a restaurant woven into your family's history to the point that it feels more like a…read morememory you can step back into rather than just a place to eat? For us, that's El Ranchito in Huntington Park. It's a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant that has had the community on its back for the last 6 decades. They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. My pops has worked in the area for longer than I've been alive, so El Ranchito has seen every iteration of me, and of my family. For that, I am grateful. I'll be coming here until the wheels fall off. EL RANCHITO ALL STARS!!! IG @johnny.novo Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

We walked in and it was a few minutes to get recognized by the hostess. Not a big deal but that bled over into the waitstaff. We were sat and ignored for quite a bit. We waited and we got chips and salsa and someone came for drink orders. The salsa was some of the best I've had. Drinks came back pretty fast but they were average. Something was off about them. We ordered the food and we got it fast! I was surprised how quick it came! It was good Mexican food. Not great but good. All in all, it was a good place for a sit down dinner with drinks.

My dad ordered the Ceviche Nayarit, I ordered the Enchiladas La Casita Mexicana and my wife ordered the Enchiladas Tres Moles. The ceviche tasted fresh, but not really my favorite dish were had. I would say the Enchiladas Tres Moles was my favorite dish we picked. My only problem with that dish was that I wanted more. The plate they served it on made the 3 Enchiladas look small. Customer service was great. Food was great. The interior/exterior was really nice. If you have dogs the patio section in the back is where you'll want to eat from. Great experience. I'd come here again.

I heard about the owners, former chefs or…read moresomething, not 100% sure BUT something along those lines, they were making OG mole so I had been wanting to go there. I forgot exactly what I had, I want to say it was bistec ranchero or something like that. it was good, nothing bad, but also felt average. They served us chips with mole on top and I was like, why did they pour mole all over, bring a little bucket of mole and let me dip it on the side. That's what a good Christian would do, but no, they went with an anti-Christian practice here, communist almost. don't assume I want everything with mole. I would have been ok with it if the mole had been bomb ass good, but it was ok. I had heard this place used original Oaxacan mole or something so I was hyped. My wife had some eggs with whatever the heck a Filipino woman orders at a Mexican place and she's was fine. I feel bad about this review, maybe this place is a victim of its former reputation, and I was expecting very good Mexican food and all I got was OK Mexican food. Also, for a true Mexican spot, you need to have café Mexicano, with canelita and the waiter told me they didn't have any. How can this be? I do not approve. Maybe if you are white or non-Mexican or a fake Mexican, I think you would have a different opinion of this place, you might think is great, just like El Torito is. Am I confusing this place with some other restaurant because the place I heard of was in Bell and the cooks/chefs were this renowned chefs and I don't think that's the case here or now. For sure, this place is not bad and I don't think you will get bad food, it was just underwhelming.
