Dropped in for lunch here after a site visit (work) in the area. The decision to stop in was made last minute - spur of the moment even making an unsafe turn into the parking lot off the main street. Heading back to the office, needed food but drove past a few places because they didn't have parking. This place did, in a private, free for the strip mall. There's some signage but I don't know what it said because I parked in other spots. Walk in, walk up to the counter, order then find a seat. No host, no table service. Want anything else, head up to the counter. Even from the counter, the staff was friendly. Did follow up though when clearing other tables. As for the food - see pics. Inexpensive for the portion size. Steak and eggs prepared as requested. Good. Not mind blowing. Not tough or bland too. The sauces added to the flavor of the eggs and Asada - though the "hot" sauce wasn't as hot as warned. Good flavor - a little smokey complimenting the steak. Liked everything about the experience. I'd even go back if/when I'm doing another site visit in the area.

First time at Guajillo, and let me just say the food was amazing. The chilaquiles were super fresh and flavorful. I got the red ones, a perfect balance of spice and savor and added chicken on top. Everything was cooked perfectly. They also have a pretty selective menu, but I came specifically for the chilaquiles and they delivered. The micheladas also hit the spot this Saturday morning. The service provided by Ismael was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, gave us a run down of the menu and the food came out quickly. The ambiance is cozy and casual, a great spot to start the morning and enjoy a good meal without feeling rushed. Definitely coming back and would recommend to others.

10/10 - Ismael is the MVP of this place If you're thinking about stopping by, do yourself a favor and go!! and when you do, hope you get Ismael as your waiter. He was genuinely outstanding from start to finish. Friendly without being pushy, super attentive, and somehow always appeared at the perfect moment. We ordered the chilaquiles and micheladas, and wow... 10/10, no notes. The chilaquiles were the perfect mix of saucy, crunchy, and flavorful, and the micheladas were so refreshing it felt like they reset my whole day. Yummmm doesn't even begin to cover it. Ismael made the whole experience even better with his great energy and thoughtful service. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Highly recommend! we'll definitely be back!

The breakfast here is great! The menudo I saw on instagram and I had to come try it the next day. I also had to bring my mom because her opinion matters with the flavor of the food. This menudo was 100% delicious, the texture of the meat was not overcooked, it was just right. The staff here is great as well, Ismael greeted us right away when we walked in and handled us the menu and went over it. Karla also was great, she was giving us refills on our drinks and asking about how the food was. Overall I will definitely come back to this place and try other items other items on the menu.

Green Chilaquiles Breakfast ft. Red Chilaquiles Breakfast and michelada

We tried the chilaquiles here and absolutely loved them! I ordered the green chilaquiles and the seasoning was perfect--so flavorful and comforting. The portion size was just right, and everything tasted super homemade. My boyfriend ordered the red chilaquiles and he loved them just as much--he literally cleaned his plate! Michelada is also a must try! 10/10 All the staff, especially Ismael, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially since it was our first time. They helped us decide what to get, and the whole ordering process was really easy. Fast service, delicious food, and an overall great experience. We'll definitely be back!

If you guys are craving comida casera, this is the place to go! We brought my mom for her birthday lunch, since she heard they were new in town, and the service was delightful! The girls were attentive and super helpful! The environment is also very pleasant and clean! My mom and dad both were super pleased with absolutely everything, which is rare, lol. The cherry on top was when the girls surprised my mom by playing a happy birthday song and brought out a small dessert for my mom! :) Highly recommend if you're looking for great food and a chill vibe with your family! read more

First time here and it did not disappoint. I had the huarache with asada and over easy eggs which was amazing. My boyfriend had the chilliqueles and he loved them. We both said we give it a 10/10. Everyone was so nice here including our server Ismael. Do yourself a favor and grab one of the amazing sweet breads when you order. read more

Cozy clean place with super friendly staff. It's not a sit down restaurant which I was looking for but it turned out ok. Ordered huevos rancheros and they were solid. So much flavors and a little on the spicy side. Loved their handmade corn tortillas.Good coffee and good ambiance. I would definitely go again. read more

Es la segunda vez que venimos y sigue estando buenísimo. Los chilaquiles están -- la salsa tiene ese toque de limón perfecto, con crema y queso que amarran todo. La carne a veces sale un poco dura, pero el sabor lo compensa. El pan telera está increíble, muy suave y fresco. Las aguas frescas son un poco diferentes, pero en general la comida y el ambiente valen mucho la pena. read more

A friend recommended this place for the chilaquiles I should say that yes they were better than other places but still they are made with tortilla chips store bought not handmade which will make a great difference. Also the cafe with canela is totally different than cafe de olla which I 100% prefer cafe the olla which is already made with piloncillo only one place they served it deliciously at Girasoles in Monrovia. This place is ok cause it looks clean and bright, good music that welcomes you and has two big tvs . Also the service is ok they are respectful and good attitude. BUT overall this place its pricy for breakfast. Would I go again? No I don't think so. But it's good to try. read more

I had the Chilaquiles Rojos con Carne Asada and they were amazing! This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu! We ordered huarache de asada with over easy egg with salsa roja y verde and a menudo. The menudo here doesn't have hominy. The ladies here are super nice. We were greeted upon arrival and our orders were immediately taken. The food was delicious. It made me sweat lol. The hand made tortillas ARE the bomb and they have free refills on the aguas!!!!! The menudo was everything I was expecting. I even deeped the tortilla in the soup! The ambiance is perfect! I give this place 5 stars! read more

6 dollars for a fountain drink Coming from the machine. WOW Food is super expensive and small portions. Service is just waiting for you to tip. If you don't they start with the faces. It's a decent place just to expensive for that they are selling they just want the money. read more

First off this place has the best handmade tortillas you will ever eat. Never had anything but a great meal here, we get bean and cheese burritos yo go and reheat them for breakfast. This is your typical mall joint, and that's where the obvious ends. To begin, the place is very casual but the menu is impressive. The portions are generous and well presented. Basically all the Mexican classics are present and very well executed. The hand made tortillas are to die for, big and tasty, a treat in their own right. The place is always full so be ready for a little waiting; but I assure you it will all be worth it. You order at the counter and they bring the plate to your table. I intend to return because there are a ton of dishes waiting for my fork. Pay a visit, you'll love the place and above all the food. read more

The food was amazing! I order the huarache that came with meat and eggs on top. It was my first time trying this out and it was amazing. The red and green sauce was really good as well and went just perfect with my plate. Their coffee had a cinnamon taste that I really enjoy. You might not sit down at a table until you order then you're allowed to sit and if busy you wait outside with your number and they will call you when your table is ready. Service is quick and employees are on top of the cleaning and attending to their guest. Food is delicious Very fast paced but also servers walk around to ask if anything is needed TVs are on. The frames around the restaurant are nice. read more

They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. We walked in and it was a few minutes to get recognized by the hostess. Not a big deal but that bled over into the waitstaff. We were sat and ignored for quite a bit. We waited and we got chips and salsa and someone came for drink orders. The salsa was some of the best I've had. Drinks came back pretty fast but they were average. Something was off about them. We ordered the food and we got it fast! I was surprised how quick it came! It was good Mexican food. Not great but good. All in all, it was a good place for a sit down dinner with drinks.

As I walked in there were dirty dishes on the tables from previous customers. No one seemed to be bothered by this. Also I guess they allow their workers to bring their kids to work. Kids are playing around the dining room like a play ground. Now the chicken soup I got was tasteless no flavor what so ever not even with a little salt. For what I paid it should have been good.
