My partner has been obsessed with stuffed potato's / potato tacos and found this place on yelp / social media . It was kind of a far drive from where we were staying but we ended up coming here for lunch . We came around 12 and were able to find parking right in front . The line to order takes awhile but the food comes out very quickly . We got a baked potato quesadilla with shrimp and rib eye on top . The sauce selection here is delicious !!! I tried the orange sauce and the Smokey red salsa and it was so so good . The rib eye was really tender and the shrimp was so yummy . The cheese was also really meltand yummy . I would definitely come back here and try there other foods . They have several locations in socal and this place is definitely worth a try !

Everything was perfect, cashier Aby was so nice and patient and very helpful! Food was so bomb! Glad we went again! Ordered too much food! Will come back here to this location mando!

Prime Ribeye Taco (Premium) and Adobada Taco

Authentic, unique, and savory tacos! I came here last Sunday for lunch and the place was pretty busy. I appreciated that parking wasn't too bad in the back and that there were plenty of seats inside. I tried their iconic Prime Ribeye taco which did not disappoint. Ordered medium rare and meat was tender and flavorful. I preferred this over the Adobada which I found to be decent as well. I also appreciated the fact that they had a pretty big condiment bar filled with your normal salsa selections, cilantro, onions, and bonus cucumbers! Their tacos are a little pricey because it's higher end meats but it was a good experience and pretty filling. Overall 8.5/10!

Love this place! Plenty of seating and the salsa bar is amazing. Always clean and service is always on point. And yes the food is absolutely delicious! The burritos are my favorite here. The pizza is very unique and the aguas frescas are solid. You never leave disappointed from here. Still haven't tried the prime stuff.

This place has a beautiful mural and wall decor inside with ample space inside! The tacos have won some acknowledgments for being the best tacos so I had to try! They serve premium and authentic meat choices. Like ribeye, surf and turf, pork belly, and fillet mignon. The premium tacos are pricey but worth it. They are generous with their meat and each one I tried had great flavor. I had the Anaheim tacos that had chili relleno stuff with cheese packed meat on top. Tortillas were great parking is a bit tricky since it's located by an outdoor strip mall! The service was quick and they weee knowledgeable about what they offer and explaining pricing. 10/10 highly recommend!

FOOD Average sized tortillas with a mountain of protein on each one! I like the large variety of meats. My favorites are pork belly, tripa (beef intestine), and adobada (it has pineapple bits in it). Honorable mentions: arrachera and asada. Tacos are priced based on what meat you get. Definitely try all their sauces. They make them in house! My personal fav is the chimichurri and my boyfriend likes the avocado one. Honorable mention: habanero SERVICE Always great! We bring friends here all the time and they always accommodate by dividing up the tacos into plates based on each person's order. AMBIANCE Good for groups of any size. They have lots of seating with an upstairs seating area as well. PARKING Street parking only unfortunately )-: It's usually not hard to find a spot though!

Tacos After a Dodgers Game Just Hit Different Who doesn't crave tacos after a Los Angeles Dodgers game?! After finally making our way out of the stadium traffic, we made the roughly 25-minute drive to Tacos Los Cholos - Huntington Park, and honestly... it was the perfect post-game decision. We kept it simple for our first visit and ordered the Asada and Adobada burritos, and wow -- they absolutely delivered. The meat was the star of the show: flavorful, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and grilled with that smoky char that tells you they know exactly what they're doing. If I had to pick one, I would say the Adobada was tastier. Unfortunately, we arrived about 10 minutes before closing, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the ambiance or explore the famous salsa bar (rookie mistake on our part). But honestly, the quality of the meat alone already sold us. Now that we know the hype is real, we'll definitely be back -- especially to try the Papa Loka and work our way through more of the menu. Late-night tacos after baseball? Worth the drive? Return visit already planned? Absolutely.

Burrito (Premium) - Arrachera (skirt steak)

Tried tacos Los cholos for the first time at this location and it was gas. The skirt steak was delicious and was loaded up to the max in the burrito. Definitely worth trying and the meat quality is exceptional. The employees are very kind and there is lot of seating with a cool vibe inside. Plenty of street parking in the area.

For the longest, been wanting to try these tacos, I should've come sooner! These tacos amazing, the meats are well seasoned, cooked perfectly and delicious! I love the assorted condiment and salsa bar! I love the fact that they offer a potato option called Papa Loka, next time I come I'm ordering this! Great customer service!

2 chicken and 2 carne asada
    Dennis H.

This is the 3rd location I've gone to and this one by far makes the best chicken tacos. I seriously love their chicken tacos. I also got a carne asada quesadilla to go. I also got to try a chorizo taco which I always forget to order, seriously good. Next time I will get some. Parking can be tough but I got lucky. The inside is pretty spacious compared to some of the other locations. Now I just got to try the HB one. My fav taco place!!! HORALE!!!

    Salad with costilla
    Pipoca C.

Shocked to discover that there were no Yelp photos of their salad! Am I the only Yelper who orders salad at a taco spot? Lol Salad was not ready when I arrived but cashier said I could begin selecting condiments while I waited. Good service. Lots of people still eating at this location, which was good to see. Would be better if they had labels at the salsa bar to identify which is which

If you're looking for some of the best tacos around, **Tacos Los Cholos** absolutely delivers a 5-star experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk up, the smell of perfectly grilled meat and fresh tortillas sets the tone. The carne asada is next-level -- tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. You can taste the quality in every bite. The al pastor is just as impressive: juicy, well-seasoned, with that perfect char that makes it unforgettable. The tortillas taste fresh and authentic, holding everything together without overpowering the fillings. Add their house-made salsas -- especially the spicy red -- and it takes each taco to another level. Every ingredient feels intentional and high quality. Beyond the food, the service is friendly thanks Aby and efficient, even when they're busy (which they usually are -- for good reason). The energy is vibrant, the portions are generous, and the value for the quality you get is outstanding. If you love authentic, flavor-packed tacos, Tacos Los Cholos is a must-visit. Easily one of the best taco spots around -- I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Is their health score still a C? I would really like to try this place but the grade is holding me back.

I don't see any changes on the Public Health website that is a valid concern all I can say is they have some of the best tacos I have ever had and I was fine eating after eating there!

What's the difference between regular, prime, and premium?

REGULAR Asada(Beef Steak) Adobada (Marinated Pork)…

    Is there parking available?

For us, that's El Ranchito in Huntington Park. It's a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant that has had the community on its back for the last 6 decades. They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. My pops has worked in the area for longer than I've been alive, so El Ranchito has seen every iteration of me, and of my family. For that, I am grateful. I'll be coming here until the wheels fall off. EL RANCHITO ALL STARS!!! IG @johnny.novo Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

We walked in and it was a few minutes to get recognized by the hostess. Not a big deal but that bled over into the waitstaff. We were sat and ignored for quite a bit. We waited and we got chips and salsa and someone came for drink orders. The salsa was some of the best I've had. Drinks came back pretty fast but they were average. Something was off about them. We ordered the food and we got it fast! I was surprised how quick it came! It was good Mexican food. Not great but good. All in all, it was a good place for a sit down dinner with drinks.

The people who work there are so friendly and kind, and the food is amazing. I still remember the crema de chicharron soup that I had the first time we went, and the chile en nogada and enchiladas tres moles are so delicious--they're my family's favorites, but you really can't go wrong. It's so hard to describe what makes them so wonderful; you taste so many different ingredients and yet the flavors balance so perfectly. Whatever the soup of the day is, you should get it; they're all delicious, especially the crema de chile poblano. My wife and I don't live close by, so we can only make it out here every few months. But for years, it's been our place to come for date nights or special occasions--birthdays, anniversaries--and you only have to look around the restaurant to know that it's the same for many other families, too. It's a beautiful and welcoming place to come, with so much art and often live music; it just feels full of life on a busy dinner shift. During the pandemic, we were still coming here when nobody was eating indoors; we'd drive an hour to Bell, pick up our take-out, and eat in the car. And in the middle of all the grief and uncertainty of that time, it was still such a treat. More than a treat; something joyful and soulful in such a hard time. We went to La Casita last night for our anniversary, and we saw Chef Jaime chatting in the parking lot with a friend (who turned out to be an artist working on murals for the restaurant). We recognized him and said a quick hi, and we were going to keep walking, because we didn't expect that he'd know us. But he recognized us, even though it's been a while, and he was so warm and welcoming. He even called the restaurant to order us a glass of wine on the house for our anniversary. We were really touched. And, as always, we had a delicious dinner and fabulous time. If you've never been, I hope you give La Casita a try. We love it so much, and I think you will, too. P.S. Get the jamaica margarita.
