My fiance and I go to the Towson Glory Days Grill roughly once a week and have done so for 4-5 years. My guy LOVES their grilled boneless wings and their selection of sauces offers a good variety, although he is a big fan of the garlic buffalo. He is a meat and potatoes kinda guy but loves their broccoli so much, that he usually gets it as a side, no matter what he chooses for his entree. I think it is just consistently perfect, tender enough where you can cut it with a fork and yet still not mushy. And they know how to season it just right to make it extra tasty. I am a vegetarian and I can't say enough good things about them. They are more than willing to offer the meat on the side (my puppy loves this) or to make simple substitutions. I recently had a server (Mikey) who went above and beyond to suggest that I get sauteed onions and peppers on my tacos to make them more filling and tasty. I am just tickled pink that he made the suggestion and I order it often (especially on Taco Tuesday's). The flavored iced teas and lemonades are tasty and refreshing alternatives to the standard soda offerings. The fresh cobbler and lava cake are my favorites and just a few of the desserts that I would highly recommend. The staff is personable, efficient, and more than ambiable. With things like opening the inner doors for you and remembering your favorite drinks and food choices, I find the atmosphere very friendly and inviting for all manner of customers. Many screens show a lot of sports and news offerings with some dedicated to cartoons for the kids. The typical crowd tends to include a great variety of couples, families, and individuals with differing ages, sexes, and ethnicities which I find to be very telling about a business. This is the kind of business I want to continue in my area. They offer indoor and outdoor dining as well as carryout while still working to uphold CDC guidelines (with distancing, plastic shields, and cleaning) so I feel safe eating there during the pandemic. I might have given this place a 3 and a half or even a four star review but there were a couple of glitches. The first glitch is that they have booths with fixed tables that don't move so if you're a big guy like me (from eating burgers) you can barely fit in. I think they have tables, too, but by the time we were shown our booth the greeter was already walking away. The second glitch came with the actual order. I ordered a swiss/mushroom/onion burger and asked if I could get the onions raw (I much prefer raw onions to grilled onions) and hold the tomato. Well, it came out with grilled onions and a tomato. No big deal. I could deal with it. The burger and fries were excellent. Nice and juicy and cooked the way we asked for them to be cooked. The waiter (John) was attentive and a good guy. Long story short, we came here to try out the Impossible Burger (a vegan burger substitute that's kind of hard to find in restaurants). I was impressed they had it, and it was cooked to perfection. The varieties of burger flavors on the menu were great. Service was solid and polite even though busy, which is rare. Truthfully they probably deserve more like 4 stars, but I'm giving a bonus star since they actually have the Impossible Burger and cook wonderfully. The bar side had everything a bar should have including an 8 beer tap, full bar, and televisions galore...even had Tom & Jerry on one of the screens. The highlight about this place is the staff. I got the opportunity to come here two weeks ago with my bf. He was craving tacos and Glory Days had a taco special so off we went. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was so nice and we never had to ask for anything. Our food came fast and our drinks stayed refilled. He was absolutely awesome! Now on to the food. OMGOSH wow is all I can say. The tacos were so good! My bf also ordered a burger to go and that was super yummy too!! I helped myself to a few bites of his sandwich lol. My favorite thing about the night however was when the manager took the time to come over and introduce herself to us. Ok, I came in a couple weeks ago and got some boneless, hot, wings and they came out undercooked! I mean pink af inside! A nice salmonella pink! So they take 'em back to bring me new ones! Guess what, the new ones come out pink too! Wtf!? I've been coming here for many years and a ton the last 5+ years. My salmon salad comes out raw af and I know that's how a lot of places do it but not here and not what I've been used to for all these years! So I asked my waitress if there are new cooks and sure enough. Well, today I ordered my grilled, boneless, hot wings and yep, pink again! Smh what are they thinking!? So I'm waiting for that and my salad I told them to hold off on, so I can eat my boneless first for a change! I seem to be on par with the average here. This place is ok I'd give 2.5 stars if I could but thought I'd round up because they're kid friendly. Things I like: - Laid back restaurant, sports themed and manly, yet very kid friendly. - They have those speakers at your table, like diners have. We didn't play with ours but it's cool looking. You can change stations to hear the different channels playing on the many screens around the place. I do not think you can play music on them like Double-T - My daughter was being very cranky and one of the guys from the back came out and gave her a rubber shark. This has happened on a different occasion with my son. So they must give them out to children who are being loud. - They do events. When a UFC fight is playing or something cool, they usually have some kind of "party" and offer specials. So that's neat, especially if you don't feel like having everyone over your house for the fight. Things I don't like: - Our waitress could have been friendlier. She wasn't rude or mean, but she was short and didn't smile once. Very soft voice, unenthusiastic. - We only ordered appetizers and a kids meal and they took quite a while to come out. - I had to return my crab pretzel. I hate doing this. The crab dip on top of the pretzel was so watery that the pretzel turned to mush! And it wasn't even a normal pretzel, it was more like pretzel stick bread. Very pretty presentation, but not appetizing. It was like they put soup on it instead of dip. - There was a daughter (like 10 years old) and mother couple next to us. So I'm going to admit that initially I was slightly skeptical due to the mediocre reviews. However, my husband and I decided to visit on Monday because they have a good burger deal. Well, it was good! I had the trifecta burger. I loved it! I don't typically get burgers at restaurants and when I received this, I was very impressed! The crab dip app was delicious as well. I prefer mine a bit hotter but it was delicious and definitely caters to a variety of people who like foods not super spicy. Our waitress Madison was super sweet and attentive! Even if the food was meh, but would come back simply because of how Madison treated us. Glory Days, don't let Madison slip away from you, she's wonderful!! All in all, we will for sure be back.
