Very disappointed again with another RARE burger when I ordered a well done burger for my 9 yr old child. Come on! This is not ok. I had written a review about this before (same problem) and took it down, but this one will stay. My son said he was full and I asked how his meal was. He said the bacon was good but not the burger. Oh really? Why is that, I asked? He said it just wasn't good. I look at his plate to see how much he ate and was horrified that he ate half of a rare burger! Yuck! We ordered the wings, dry rubbed with Thai chili sauce which my husband likes and orders frequently and my steak and baked potato was very good. Not sure if i wrote a review of Glory days but here we go. I've visited this location on three separate occasions and I've had the same experience each visit. Food was good Service was great (there's a waitress named Ivey she's dope A+ service) Atmosphere is on point. One of the impressive things about this location is the family atmosphere that's is welcomed here. They have a few games outside for families or groups of folks who are waiting to be seated or just taking a lil smoke break etc. Our last trio was midafternoon on a Saturday they had college football games on and on a couple TVs they had cartoons for the kids. What makes that 10x better is the lil speaker thats on each table that you can change to the exact tv that you're watching to get sound right at your table!!!! Salmon came in a separate container, which I like because then the lettuce doesn't wilt. But come on...the serving size is like a side salad...it's lettuce for god sake. Anyway did curbside. As we walked across the parking lot from the hotel, I joked that they probably just played Bruce Springsteen in a loop. After our party of four was immediately seated and David Bowie sang the final bars of "Fame," who else but the Boss started singing about an old baseball friend he met in a bar? I asked the server if this played every other song and he noted that it was just a coincidence. The space was filled with a large number of booths and pub tables with fleets of televisions on the walls. There's also a little box on your table that your party can tune to any of the TVs and listen to the audio. Basically, you've eaten here before even if this is your first time. Its a sports bar. The menu is a step up from basic pub grub. There are some interesting options, but our crew opted for mostly wings and fries. Tip: go a level higher for your heat level, the wings are pretty tame. I am not someone that goes out of my way to post a bay review. I'd rather share the good about great service and food. However, we tried Glory Days in Odessa for the first time last weekend. Just take out. Ordered 2 burgers (medium) and wings. I asked for asparagus on the side. The wings were great, however the burgers came raw! I had to microwave mine and my son's. On top of that I got broccoli instead of the asparagus. I never called to complain. Just coughed it up to a bad night. Tonight after a busy week and long Friday at work and my son's soccer game, we decided to try them again since they are close to our house and ordered food to go. Two burgers and this time I ordered them well done just to be safe! Well they didn't come that way. Medium rare. This time I called. Asked to speak with the manger. Wings were juicy and had just enough sauce. Several sauce choices to choose from. Fries were the right kind of crispy and well seasoned. If you are avoiding salt, these are on the salty side. Not busy & very slow service! The old menu is completely gone & a totally new one is taking over, not quite sure what to think about that, but initial reaction...not great! Happy Hour is just reduced prices on a few drinks. Not good! Building is nice, fairly new & lot's. Of TV's! Solid wood tables, booth backs are padded, but uncomfortable. Around 6PM, they got a big bar crowd. We tried the duo of salsa & guacamole. The salsa was terrible, so runny, minimal taste & definitely not homemade. The chips were nothing special, out of a bag. Unfortunately the guacamole was thicker, but lacked in flavor. Weak drinks, a bad appetizer & this girl know not to come back! The service was great! The menu they had before was GREAT & you had a tough choice to make. Now....the choice is easy, don't return. What's a girl to do? Yes, I came, I saw & I experienced the new agenda. I drop in occasionally as a single person for lunch. Well, last week a couple friends dropped in on Saturday so we went there. We had a great time, the drinks were solid, the food was hot and tasty but the staff allowed us to sit and chat without rushing us out. First time in Glory Days during Covid was a strange experience. I was alone in the dining room for 90% of my meal. First impression was this is built for watching sports, but the lack of sports was apparent. I saw a round of cornhole competition with the players in masks. I often pick something simple during a first visit, if they get this right then game on for my next visit. I chose a Bacon cheddar burger xtra bacon, waffle fries come with it. The burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy & just average not bad but not wow. Dessert was great, an Oreo slider which is exactly what showed up. It was an amazingly sugary treat with chocolate sauce to dip it in. The server took great care of me and wore ppe during the meal. I am not worried about covid, thanks to my amazing immune system. I felt like they were serious about safety during the pandemic. I was happy with my meal and I will come back again if i want to stay close to my house. read more

Why 4 stars? Ok, second review and the food has earned another star. I have tried some new dishes that really stand out and make the food something that I look forward to. Clean facility, great tv viewing. Sadly the elusive 5th star still will have to wait as the staff is just not up to par. I've been here 3 times and sat at the bar each time. The atmosphere is cool and the menu reasonably priced. The food each time varied. Once excellent, once awful and another time it was ok. My biggest issue was the bar staff. The bartenders were different each time and equally as bad each time. I think one girl was there 2 of of the 3 visits. They do not smile or interact with their customers. They don't seem to be aware of their surroundings because they don't look up if people might need something. You actually have to flag them down and sometimes it took several attempts. They don't smile omake the guests feel welcome. They don't pay attention to the order people arrive at the bar cause they serve out of order. I bartended for many years in my youth and always made great money and had tons of regulars. I did this with a smile and great service. These ladies could learn a thing or two. Been back a few more times because it's the local spot but the service keeps getting worse. If they didn't offer gluten free for my mom, we wouldn't be back. read more

Nothing special. We had ordered our entrees and our server forgot to ring in our side of fries. She didn't write it down. I'm assuming that's why. We didn't even bother to remind her considering we were pretty much done when she came by again to ask how we were doing. Our wings were super greasy. They came with two baby pieces of celery so generous. Also, are the bartenders not trained? I ordered a Tito's dirty martini and received a splash of well vodka and olive juice. Confused why there was no olive garnish. That's the point of a dirty martini. Again, didn't even bother to ask for olives cause was pretty much done with it when she came by again. This is your typical sports bar. Good food, decent service. I had the Glory Burger which was delicious and cooked perfectly. There were several college football games on so there was a lot if noisy cheering but that's to be expected in a sports bar. The pricing is great, the beer was ice cold. Great experience at this location Glory Days Grill, it's been a year since we came to this location because the service and food was disastrous to be honest but we came back last night and what a difference! First I have to say that Jacob is one of the best waiters I've ever had the pleasure to have in my many, many times dining out and he was on point with the service, the professional, attentive but easy going attitude. The food was great as well, we started with guacamole and salsa with tortilla chips, they absolute delicious, I had their chicken rice bowl and it was also delicious and it's very filling, my wife had their Turkey Sandwich and she loved it and my in laws had the Cobb Salad and the Pulled Pork Sandwich and they both enjoyed it, we'll definitely be back again, you gained us back as customers, way to go guys! A friend and myself came to Glory Days on the afternoon of the college football playoff semifinals. I got in around 415pm and was seated immediately. About 15 minutes passed by and nobody had yet to take our drink orders. The manager of the restaurant was seating guests at the table next to us so I got his attention and told him about our situation. He acted quickly and apologized and offered to put the first round of drinks and appetizers on the house. I was very impressed with this gesture. Once we had someone waiting on our table, it was smooth sailing from there on out. We ordered 18 wings and a basket of fries, both of which were terrific. The waiter and manager were coming by frequently to check on us and apologized many times for what happened initially. Aside from the start (which I'm not docking stars for due to the response of the staff once notified), everything was outstanding and I am planning on going back in the future. read more

Glory Days Grill was a quick walk from the hotel I was staying at, while traveling for a business trip. My first impression when I walked in the door, it was nice, new looking and clean. I was immediately greeted by a hostess and directed to the bar. I was only there for a few "wobbly pops", since I had dinner plans in a few hours. There were no lack of TV's, and each one was on a different sports game, from basketball, to baseball, football and soccer. The bartender was polite, attentive and quick with service. Based on the great experience we had here we have gone to other Glory Days only to learn that local management influences the end result - this place rocks the other two locations we visited we will not be returning. However this location is the place to go if you want friendly, prompt service with great tasting food. As stated, 4X's here now and each time has been 5 star. Many TV's for great sports watching. Clean and good staff. The place was packed with no parking spots left and we got the last table - apps were awesome (fried pickles & Buffalo chicken dip) and they came out quickly. I recommend any of the burgers and my wife got the shaved prime rib sandwich, which she said was great and will order again. I give it 5 stars because we came on opening night and they didn't screw anything up! Also, the food was excellent and the service was good. The manager checked in with us to make sure we were happy and thanked us for supporting their new restaurant. I had the Glory Days burger and my wife had chicken pasta. We both loved our meals. I upgraded my burger to Black Angus for 1.50. I was happy to see that the bottom bun was not soaked with grease. It was so good! We can't wait to try it again. I almost forgot. I had the most disgusting meal I have honestly ever paid for in my life! My husband ordered take out and brought me home the Glory Days Pasta (pasta with garlic cream sauce and sun dried tomatoes with grilled chicken). It was sweet!? Why would it be sweet?? I couldn't eat it, it was like candy sweet. I don't know if it is supposed to be like that or the kitchen screwed up but it literally made me want to vomit. We've eaten here many times and never had a bad meal so I'm not sure what happened last night, someone mixed up the salt with the sugar.
