    The all-American burger
    Kenneth D.

The food was very good. Do they have a signature burger? That's huge. for Father's Day my wife had the American burger, I had a chicken Caesar salad, my daughter had the Greek salad. They were all very good. the Service is Excellent My drink was never empty and it's a beautiful location in place you look at over the lake.

Awesome little hidden spot. We sat close to the bar and had a super friendly and helpful waiter. He helped us select all sorts of yummy foods. Pictures in the post. Went for happy hour but ended up getting the regular fun cocktails on the menu. It's a great place to bring a huge group or an intimate date night. Lots of space! Hope to be back soon.

One of my favorite places! They go all out at holidays. Great atmosphere inside and out but I prefer to eat outside to view the lake. Lots of seating. Friendly staff and great menu.

A lovely local spot right on the water. I came for dinner on a weekday evening, and it was immaculately clean and not too busy. The food was great, especially the spicy vodka rigatoni with grilled chicken. The service was excellent as well, with attentive staff and quick refills throughout the meal.

So holidays are challenging for restaurants, but this experience was crazy. We have been meeting family for Christmas Eve dinner for more years than I can remember. So far this was the absolute worst experience in the Tampa area in over 15 years. First off, they way overbooked. And the desk told us that they had done so when we checked in. We were finally seated and immediately told the kitchen was running an hour behind. We got drinks and waited. Shortly after that our server told us the kitchen was even slower. We decided to order some appetizers. Those too would be at least another half hour to an hour, but if we ordered cold appetizers, it would be better. So we decided to share a charcuterie board and a bread basket. A half hour later, we got the charcuterie board. We were starving so it was very good. And actually turned out to be the best item of the evening. At about 7:30 (we had been there since 6 pm), ONE person in our party of seven got their order of a chicken sandwich with fries. About 45 minutes later, the rest of us were served. My meal was inedible. They gave me the wrong veggies which they did replace; the mixed mashed potatoes were disgusting; the chicken in the chicken Marsala was tough and hard on the edges. The whole plate was drowned in a sticky brown sauce. Yuk!! I told the server to discourage anyone else from ordering this. From the other comments, the burgers were decent and the chicken piccata good (although her food was served on a smaller sized plate with what appeared to be a half a portion size). We did enjoy the picturesque setting and the Christmas decorated boats that passed by. But 2 and half hours is a long time for older folks to sit -- as well as for the kids. And we left unsatisfied on so many levels.

Holiday evening dinner with family in a beautiful setting. The interior had every square inch decorated as well as the outside seating/dining area. Festive boats circling around the huge lake for added entertainment. Parking lot is packed! Arrived on time for our dinner reservations. Our table had not cleared because of the previous occupants still there. After waiting approximately another 40 minutes they found a table for our party of seven. Our server came with menus ( which we had already memorized!) and took our beverage orders. We put our dinner orders in right away and fortunately a bread order and a Charcuterie board order. The Charcuterie board arrived about 20 minutes later with only one of the two bread basket orders. This kept everyone going until one of the seven orders arrived an hour after placement. About 32 minutes later, the other six entrees arrived. Don't order the Chicken Marsala... Burger dishes were good. Other pasta dishes were OK. As we were finishing up, our second bread basket order arrived. We were asked if anyone wanted dessert, and our table gave a polite "timely" decline. Ambiance and the family company were wonderful!

    Shrimp n grits with sausage.

Great location. In the spring or fall would be very nice to sit outside with the lake view. This place is HUGE so you could definitely seat a large party. I had the shrimp n grits. It was great and very reasonably priced. The sausage in it could have used a little more taste but it was quite enjoyable. I would go back.

The lovely Mae and Gia servers extraordinaire! Gia was our server while Mae provided excellent balance for this photo.

Our Saturday evening out with good friends, 3/14/2026, was made better by deciding to have drinks, appetizers and dinner at Stonewater Grill. Our fantastic waitress, Kelsey, raised the bar as far as friendly service and ability to totally take care of us with smiles and fun. What an enjoyable pre-birthday celebration! Stonewater's is our favorite!

Another really good experience. The french toast was really good! My kiddo loved her spaghetti too. Noodles look housemade. The food here has been a home run each time. No doubt we will be back. Also, we love the options for indoor or outdoor seating my the water. It is beautiful!!!

    Short rib melt
    Mark V.

I've heard some buzz recently from friends about Stone Water Grill, so I finally gave it a try. The service was friendly and responsive, which set a great tone from the start. I ordered the short rib melt with fries. As for the sandwich itself those short ribs were seriously delicious. Generous portion, tender meat, and yes, it even fell out of the sandwich at one point (always a good sign in my book). The fries were solid too. I'm curious to explore more of the menu next time. If the short rib melt is any indication, there's more goodness waiting.

This is a local gem! Right on a lake with great views. Very outdoorsy. We took our dog as they are allowed on the patio! Highly recommend the charcuterie board.

I've never had a meal I didn't like! My latest meal that I tried from Chef Ava was fried fish and creamy grits with a banana foster cobbler with vanilla pudding. It was really great! The fish was fried in a cornmeal batter which is my favorite way to eat fried fish. The grits were savory and creamy and paired well with the fried fish. The dessert was a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be requesting it again the next time I get food from Chef Ava. So good! It was never crowded the entire time we were there between 11:30 am and 1 pm. Parking was easy, which is nice because when it gets crowded that parking lot gets packed. Put sunscreen on the kids. There isn't any shade so the kids were super sweaty running around the play area. Adults should put on sunscreen too because in the morning there's not a lot of shade out there to stand in either. Future Christina, one biscuit is enough. I got a biscuit and then a side of biscuit for my omelet and my older son ate 3/4 of a biscuit with the younger one not wanting any. My husband got the grilled yardbird sandwich with a side of fries so that way my older son could eat a biscuit and fries which was his favorite meal ever. The younger one wanted pancakes. Unfortunately there's no kids meal pancakes so he ate half a pancake, which was still enough to make it worth it. (The smallest set of pancakes came with two.) I got the shrimp omelet which had a ton of plump shrimp. It was delicious. On top of the biscuit I got cheese grits. Next time I should get just the grits, the cheese didn't really add anything. Unfortunately the only non carb side is collard greens which has pork in it. My husband liked his yardbird although none of us ate the cornbread. And my dad said his grand burrito was good. I like how laid back this place is with down to earth food that's delicious. The cashier was very friendly giving me tips as I ordered. This place hires great workers. I really enjoy coming here and will definitely be back.

Sorry, no pictures. The ribeye was tasty, flavorful and tender! You can not get anything like it at a grocery store!!! I can not say enough about how amazing it was!!!! The scallops were very good as well! I used the seasoned butter and everything was popping with flavor!!!! The bottle of wine was a bit dry, I prefer a slightly sweeter wine but it was good nevertheless. It was the best home grilled steak dinner I've ever had! For this quality of meat I expected to pay more and I did. My order was $176. I will definitely go back and try other meats and more that they had. I will need to save up a bit for another great ribeye though.

Upon entering the restaurant it is quick service but the restaurant itself is very nice and well decorated. Not your standard bright white, plain poke restaurant. All of the ingredients are very fresh. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu in a good way. They have so many amazing options. While we came for the poke, they also have a açaí bowl bar, hot food and even Boba. It was so hard deciding what to get because everything looked and sounded so fresh and amazing. I settled on the first and most popular menu item The Ultimate Poke Sushi Bowl. Everything included sounded delicious. I did sub the carrots for ginger and added mango. The price is only $14.99 which is amazing cause other poke restaurants charge more. What makes it even more impressing is the whopping amount of food they give you. They are not stingy on the portions by any means. In fact I had so much leftover I got to have two great meals out of it. I didn't get boba as it was late and I was just excited for dinner but I did get a fountain drink. They have stubborn soda which I love. It's made with cane sugar. The employee working was very kind. I do not live near our office but I look forward to coming back when I visit our office again or if I'm near by visiting. Excellent food.
