However, after visiting Sam at El Melody for a few lessons, I can already see why everyone has rated him perfectly. The ratings are not a joke, he is really that good. I have taken voice lessons from others over the years, but nothing has even come close to his method of teaching. His formal training is very apparent and I have already noticed a dramatic improvement in my own speaking and singing abilities. If you are serious about improving your voice for speaking and/or singing, open to constructive criticism and practicing the lessons you are taught on which parts of your body to use, I think almost anyone could have great or at least noticable results by taking lessons from Sam. They have two locations: Annandale and McLean. We've been to both. The Annandale location is closer to us to drive to from Loudoun County, although I prefer the McLean location...because there are more things to do while waiting. Annandale not so much, you have to sit put. We've been very very happy with Skill Builders and my son gets excited to see his therapists each visit.
