Did a simple inside and outside cleaning. I did the most expensive outside clean since my car was pretty dirty from driving from San Diego, so it cost $38 with tip. I'd say they did as good of a job as any other automated car wash that does the drying and inside cleaning at the end. In and out in under 15 minutes. And a cute little coffee/card etc store inside while you wait. read more

Went for a car wash, you now pay extra to have the inside wiped down ($12) and I had them clean my 4 floor mats. When I left, I noticed there were still bugs on my windshield, crumbs and residue on my console and crumbs in my door handles. I went back to show them. The person working said they would run my car through again but that they don't wipe down the console, drink holders or door handles. Okay...so $12 to wipe down my dash. After a 2nd wash, still had bugs on the windshield. Paid $48 and had to go home to clean the inside of my car. Next time will go to an automatic car wash and save my self $30. read more

My cars exterior was cleaner only because it was dirty from the snow but definitely not sparkling clean. The windows and exterior were smudged! The inside didn't even look touched. It wasn't that dirty to begin with and basically you pay for an interior clean in which they don't clean the interior. I asked the guy what they clean and he said " not the cup holders or side doors or front of consoles" lol So basically it's a vacuum. Also the vacuum job was spotty at best. Like I said it wasn't bad to begin with so it looked exactly the same. I paid 22 for interior and exterior plus extra for the mats plus extra for the SuV plus 5 dollar tip. That's a lot of money for "meh". My car is relatively new and would have come out sparkling if I had gone to a different car wash. Gave a two bc they did run it through again. It's just hard to believe this is the quality job they think is acceptable. Don't have pictures of the first run through because it was worse. I was told it's 64 dollars if I wanted all the interior wiped down. They weren't rude but matter of fact about their low standards. read more

Why is it so bad? I've been here a few times, and they always did a terrible job. I assumed it was because I didn't pay for the top of the line wash, but this time I got the "express detail" service and they still did a terrible job! It cost $120 and they didn't even vacuum the whole car or clean all the surfaces. They just put that shiny stuff on the tires in a sloppy uneven way and wiped the car down with a dirty cloth. I went for the total gloss and it was dirty inside and out when I got it back, even though it was less dirty than when I've taken it to automatic car washes. there were new streaks from kinds of dirt that I didn't even have in my car when I got there.the windows were dirty. No big deal everybody makes mistakes right? so I went back lThey washed it again. The outside still dirty. The underside never got washed at all. Damage to my headliner is still there. 54.99 plus a generous (prepaid) tip for their "everything" wash and I picked up my car and the windshield was *dirtier* than when I dropped it off. This is the third time I've tried them, everything from basic washes (barely dried, more streaks than a 1980s college football game) to their $99 was (wax lines and missed spots everywhere). I keep hoping they'll get better but they just don't. The fact that they ask for a tip before the service is complete is ridiculous. Especially with this quality of work. If they were consistently *good* and I could anticipate quality work, I wouldn't have much of a problem, yet here we are. Staff needs a retraining. Owner needs to accept responsibility. For 55 bucks I don't expect a detail but I also don't expect it to look functionally the same as a basic wash and dry. read more

When the car comes out of the wash... the workers barely dry your car! Every time I go there I grab rags and dry my car along with them for 30 seconds, and then they disappear and I finish drying my car myself! Very disappointing... And this is on a weekday when it's slower-continues to be a problem... Not like when it was the puddle. Management should reach out to me after this post!! read more

Don't waste your money. I got the Shiny Shell and my car came out looking the same. It got the dirt off but the front of my car didn't look clean at all. There was still bird poop and bugs. To top it off, the experience was horrible. When I drove my car around to the car wash, there was no one there to guide my car into the wash. So I drove in and ended up running my tire into the ledge which could've caused some serious damage. I proceeded to adjust my car myself and waited. After a couple minutes, 2 guys proceeded to walk to the car and proceed with the car wash. When I drove out, there were guys hand drying my car so clearly they would've seen the front was still dirty but they did nothing. Such a waste of money. Now I'm left annoyed and with a (still) dirty car. read more

The manager offered to clean up the car to make this right. I haven't taken him up on the offer, but today when I was here I tried to enroll in the rewards system and was impressed with the service. I've continued bringing my car here. They generally do a great job and new management has added some nice improvements like drive through payments and being able to add a tip via credit card when you don't have cash. read more

I had driven across country and back so my car was in dire need of a wash. I paid $60 for a hand wash and for a light dusting of the inside (which was covered in dog hair and dirt on the mats). I was surprised at how clean the inside was considering the service is more focused on the outside. My technician came out to find me because they were running behind and my car would be another 30 minutes which was no problem because they have a cute little coffee shop to wait in and he gave me a coupon for a free wash (not the basic but their premium wash). Overall I was very satisfied considering a hand wash for my SUV is normally priced a lot higher. read more

I want to thank the guys who vacuumed and scrubbed the filthy inside of my white Honda today. After winter and spring driving dirt roads, after me eating in there, especially after I broke my left arm in May and have barely been coping with driving, much less cleaning, I was glad to have it soo much better in there! And... especially.....they found an envelope of money that I had stashed (under the mat?) over a month ago while I was at the grocery, and forgotten in my brain-fog. I had an appointment for an exterior hand wash and wax. When I returned to Gloss 10 minutes after leaving my vehicle, I witnessed a staff member driving my car into the automatic machine wash. He told me if I wanted a hand wash, it would require an extra hour, which I agreed to. Our agreement, verbally and by my appointment, and listed on their website, was for a hand wash. Gloss, on their own, decided to downgrade my $99. agreement by attempting to machine wash my vehicle (behind my back). read more

I absolutely loathe writing a poor review, I really do. But hopefully quality will improve based on reviews. The pros: Great location, friendly employees and nice environment. The cons: Very expensive and very poor quality. (Not a good combo!) I was shocked to pull in and find out the full package was $49.95, which was the only one that included cleaning the floor mats. I decided to pay for the $28.95 package and was incredibly disappointed. My windows were streaked, they did a mediocre job vacuuming, the dashboard was not wiped down and the cup holder area was still dirty. It was honestly no better than running my car through a gas station car wash. I had to come home and reclean my windshield, sweep out the car better, and wipe down all of my dashboard and cup holder area. I won't be going back. Bummer because I always try to support local businesses, but not when I'm paying a premium for very poor service. read more

Oh shucks. Puddle Car Wash sold out to Gloss, and the quality has gone way down. We paid $35 for an extremely mediocre job. In fact, when we got home, I had to re-vacuum and clean the interior and then hand wash the windshield again. The other bummer was that Gloss employees seem to be too miserable to give us eye contact or acknowledge our existence. When the car was ready to be claimed, the guys walked away from our car and from us without giving us the time of day. They didn't even look at us to make sure we were driving away in the right automobile. The customer service used to be so enthusiastic, personal and quick at Puddle. Now, it's a sludge. If this continues, this business will never make it. :( Oh! This is interesting. It was a coincidence that our daughter used Gloss later the same day. $35 with added (on the credit card) tip - and I have a problem with that procedure as well. The whole thing took about 10 min max...SO I KNEW it wasn't going to be a great clean job...the inside was mediocre clean...Definitely not any better than I could have done with a hand vacuum. The trunk was not even touched and I was told it would be vacuumed. The exterior was fairly clean. WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY (times 1000) too expensive for what you get. AND I'm unclear/unsure if the guys who do the work get the whole tip...also tipping with your credit card when you pay for the service does NOT insure a good job. The guys that clean MY car are only getting a fraction of MY tip probably because it's likely meted out equally...so no real incentive to do more. ALSO..do the employees get the full amount of the tip or does the establishment reduce it by 5% for the credit card fee they pay to the bank (example: I get 5% discounts from my dentist when I pay cash for that same reason. I won't go back there. Too bad. SO overpriced for what you get. read more
