She took her time to test various hair strands with different formulas, and she has been the first one to achieve the beautiful blonde color that I envisioned (after 6 other colorists failed). I was so impressed with her that I decided to use her for hair extensions, and they are out of this world drop dead gorgeous. Renee cut my hair plus the extensions skillfully, and she created such a natural looking blend that the extensions are virtually undetectable. LOVE these people. I started getting extensions in 2018 and needed someone close to my house that was a true expert. I have super fine hair that requires extra attention when it comes to the placement of each strand. Gloss has been great. I never have any issues with my hair, it's just as healthy as it was before I started getting extensions. I used to dye my hair but then decided to grow out my natural color. These folks were able to match my extension to my unique natural color such that i did not have to dye either for it to look good. True experts. I Would highly recommend Gloss. I came to Renee because she had the best reviews of anyone I could find in Atlanta for extensions. Renee had really high-quality hair and was so professional. After my consultation she told me that my hair is insanely thick and to get extensions would be the cost of a cheap car. I recently donated my hair after many years of having it super long. Because my hair is relatively thick and curly, the length always weighed it down enough for it to look great. Needless to say after the hair 'donation' episode I was not pleased with myself. I went in to do a consult with Renee about getting extensions (I know, I know). I was a bit nervous but Renee put me at ease with her demeanor and experience. She suggested to first do a keratin treatment on the bottom half of my hair to help change the way it is laying (ingenious!). So far, it seems to be working. This suggestion shows her expertise and knowledge in working with all hair types! I am fairly confident that I am in good hands with her for treatment, extensions, or anything else. I went to Gloss salon for a Keratin treatment last week and I have to say this place is amazing. They are moving to a new location in a few weeks which will help as the current space is a bit small but the overall quality of the hairdresser, Renee and her two associates more than makes up for the small space. As most girls who know very little to nothing about hair extensions, it's sooooo important to find someone you trust with your hair. I had been thinking about and wanting extensions for years now (I have baby fine hair), but I never felt comfortable enough to pull the trigger. I'm getting married next summer, so I felt like if I wasn't going to do it now, then when?! I've only had my new hair for a day, but I feel amazing! Renee was so responsive, informative, and thorough prior to meeting, during the initial free consultation, and throughout the appointment. She was first and foremost concerned about the safety of my natural hair, and then made recommendations based on that. I got deal from "My Daily Thread" from Gloss Salon. The day of the appt. I got a call from Renee, the owner at 12:30pm, (2pm appt) on answering machine asking to reschedule.for the following day or the day after. I called back immediately, left a message on her machine that I could indeed,do the following day, to let me know what time. I cancelled all my activities for the next day. I continued to call her multiple times and leave messages. I also e-mailed her. She never called me back and never wrote me back. What she said later was that she texted me. I do not have text messaging.. I am copying and pasting the correspondence between her and I. ----------------------------------------------------------- Ashley was sick which is life and cannot be avoided. I'm sure you understand. I don't keep my phone available for business on Sundays as it is my only day off. I did send you a text in spite of this. Again, I am certain you know the craziness which can ensue if you take business calls all weekend. It seems that this has not worked out for us thus far and if Monday doesn't work then I am not sure when would as I leave town soon after and am fully booked.
