It's organized and clean although sometimes it's a little dusty. That's the worst thing I can say. But this is Santa Clarita and everyone knows it's dry and windy so it's going to be a little dusty from the door constantly being opened. My experience with staff has always been positive. My encounters with Joel (the manager for a few years now) and Riley, has always been positive. They are friendly and polite and they do a great job of keeping the gym in order. Being that this gym has a more upscale feel and is available to members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with limited staffing, members are expected to police themselves and follow the rules. It's not only ownership that expects this, but it's other members as well. That's why we pay more for membership here. If I wanted a messy gym where nobody cares, I'd go to LA fitness. Members are held accountable of they commit rules violations and some people don't like that. This isn't LA fitness or EOS where if you break a rule, nobody says anything (which is also one of the reasons I really like this place). If you don't want a problem with staff, follow the rules. Don't open the door for anyone who can't get in on their own, don't bring in guests (or your children) during unstaffed hours and return the equipment you use. It's common sense and courtesy. There are signs up with rule reminders around the gym and at the front door and everybody gets explained the security rules upon signing up. If you break the rules, you're probably going to get contacted by staff. Most members appreciate the attention to safety and enforcement of picking up when you're done. Others appear to get upset because they didn't like being told they violated a rule and come to yelp to complain. Don't judge this place based off a few negative reviews left by people who are upset they were contacted for rules violations or didn't know how to read the contract they signed. It's a great community, it's safe and has everything you need to get a great workout!

Date review placed June 25, 2026…read more The good planet fitness keeps their equipment, clean and restrooms clean. The bad here is a list. Maintain your equipment, lubricate all the adjustment pins on the equipment. You pull in a pin to adjust your equipment the pin will not retract due to no lubrication. Lubricate the linear bearings on all your Smith machines. Here we go again with the free teenager membership for the summer. Before these teens are allowed to work out, planet fitness should instruct these teens on what not to do. Don't use your cell phone in the weightlifting area. Don't put personal property on a piece of equipment and walk away and expect someone not to remove it. Don't huddle around a piece of equipment with your friends and talk for 5 to 10 minutes between sets. Don't spend five minutes between sets on your mobile phone, do your sets and move on. Adult gym members are guilty of this also. It's one of the most irritating things about Planet Fitness. All phone use should be done in the lobby at the front desk. I went in for a workout on June 23rd 2026 the gym was full of teenagers, talking, putting personal property on machines walking away expecting to save the machine for later. Doesn't fly with me. I remove the property and do my workout. But this is bound to cause a conflict. Your gym staff need to monitor the gym every 15 minutes shut down people on their phones. Tell the teens to move away from a piece of equipment if they're not using it. Planet Fitness has lost the ability to run their gym by their narrative and policies. Planet Fitness has let teenagers control the gym. If you agree with what I'm talking about, you're about to join the Planet Fitness wait until Planet Fitness has controlled of its own gym again.

But there should be more women cleaners who can come in maybe every half an hour just to mop up the wet floor and dry off the wet counters. And honestly, the biggest problem is the shower temperatures. Those need to be adjusted immediately because they will only stay hot for a little And the glass doors have to go!! The lighting above them does not add to privacy, and that is a huge concern

I've been coming to this Planet Fitness location since it opened, and overall I like the gym. It's…read moreclean, has the equipment I need, and most staff interactions have been positive. However, I've now had two uncomfortable interactions with a front desk employee named Deborah that left me feeling frustrated, unwelcome, and honestly unsafe. The first interaction happened while I was on the treadmill. Deborah approached me and told me that "someone complained" because I didn't have headphones on while watching something on my phone. I completely understand the common courtesy of using headphones in the gym, which is why I purposely chose a treadmill with empty machines on both sides of me, kept the volume extremely low, and even had captions on. The gym music, conversations, treadmills, and equipment were all significantly louder than my phone. When I explained this, Deborah herself responded, "Oh I know, I can't even hear it and I'm standing right here." That immediately confused me, because if she couldn't hear it standing next to me, I didn't understand why it was being treated like a complaint issue. When I asked who complained, she said she didn't know. The only people near me were a few women talking loudly together, so the situation felt strange and unnecessary. What bothered me most was not the reminder itself, I understand policies and courtesy rules exist. What bothered me was the approach. It felt like she blamed an "anonymous member complaint" instead of simply asking me directly to put headphones on. I later told Deborah that I didn't appreciate being told a story that didn't make sense when she could have just communicated honestly and respectfully. The second interaction happened when my app wasn't working and I asked to check in using my phone number. As I was walking away, Deborah stopped me and repeatedly pushed me to take a photo for the account. I told her multiple times that I was not comfortable doing that, but she continued pushing and giving reasons that were not accurate. I explained that I've been coming here for months without issue and that my home gym already has my photo on file. She incorrectly insisted this location was my home gym, even after my app showed otherwise. Again, the issue is not that she wants to do her job thoroughly. The issue is the way she communicates and disregards boundaries after being told "no." Not everything needs to become confrontational or overexplained. There's a difference between being helpful and making members feel uncomfortable. These interactions have created a negative feeling every time I come in and see her working. I hope management addresses the importance of respectful communication and listening to member concerns and boundaries. If management would like to contact me directly, Deborah knows exactly who I am.

Carbon Fit Labs maintenance man (Matt) does a lot of Mickey Mouse work on the equipment. The multi jungle workout machine has exposed wires that can cause bleeding if pricked. If someone has already pricked themselves and bled on the wire, someone else can come prick themselves with the same bloody wire. The tension on every machine is different and the towers that hold it are upside down. The leg extension machine is always broken due to the Mickey Mouse work that the "CEOs" maintenance man does. Carbon Fit Labs content creator pass has to be one of the most idiotic and cringe business moves EVER. Carbon Fit Labs Instagram page uses fake (bot) followers to try and sell their gym. They went from 1k followers to 41k in a matter of a couple days. There social media engagement does not match at all with their social status. The "CEO" Britany Walsh and her maintenance man are some of the most ignorant and arrogant individuals that you'll ever meet. One day they will be "nice" to you and then the next day they will make you feel unwelcome to the gym. All in all the "CEO" does not care about the gym at all and only cares about how much money you guys put in her pocket. All the equipment is cheap like I said and constantly out of order. Please be very cautious when taking a tour or even thinking about signing up for this gym. I give this gym a 0/10 you're better off at no good planet fitness honestly.

If I could describe the Valencia EOS, in three words, it would be "REPAIR IN PROGRESS". In fact, leave your weight belt at home and bring your tool belt instead. I've trained at EOS gyms throughout Arizona and they are always well maintained. When EOS purchased the Valencia Golds Gym I was initially excited. The Gold's Gym needed some serious upgrades and I thought EOS would get after it. Unfortunately, after all the Golds Gym signs were taken down, the maintenance crew jumped ship. The original weight machines from when the gym opened 14 years ago are falling apart. The only thing that's guaranteed to work is the merchant account debiting your bank account every month. The other day I walked by four treadmills before I found one that worked. There is one cable crossover machine that has been broken for nearly 6 months. It sits in the middle of the gym with an aging "Repair in Progress" sign. The sign should read "Rest in Peace". It's become the new gym mascot. I think we should give it a name and decorate it for the holidays, because management won't do anything about it. HMU if you guys want to start a GoFundMe account to get it fixed. Nicer gyms repair broken equipment immediately, but EOS lets them sit and rot. Meanwhile, the gym hosts never ending membership drives and it's undoubtedly working, because the gym is packed. EOS mailers pour out of my mailbox. I can't imagine how much they're spending on marketing, but sadly, there is nothing left in the budget for maintenance and upgrades. The only notable improvements I've seen are modern business signs on the exterior and pretty So Cal paintings on the walls. If you are an older or advanced trainer avoid this gym at all costs, unless of course you're going to one of the classes, I hear those are OK With the unrelenting crowds due to low membership fees, gym etiquette is marginal. With that said, imagine what wonders await you in the men's locker room. You'll have to skillfully navigate through hoards of skinny/fat dudes taking shirtless selfies. I've photo bombed several of them just walking by minding my own business. Sometimes you're treated to a guy blasting rap music out of his iPhone for everyone's listening pleasure. The adjacent bathrooms are always foul smelling. One morning, I had to walk through sewage water to wash my hands because of the never-ending drainage issues. You may want to throw your galoshes in the gym bag just in case. The sink / soap dispensers work infrequently and now one of the hand dryers has the ubiquitous "Repair in Progress" sign. Don't buy it, it's false advertising. There will be no repair, nor any progress; it's been broken for weeks. You'll have to lineup to dry your hands from here on out. After several years of membership at this location, I have decided to join another gym. A few of my friends have already left, and I will follow them. All things considered, EOS Valencia isn't that bad of a gym, it's worse.
